      • 객체기반 CAD 시스템의 건축설계적 효용에 관한 연구

        As architectural forms tend to be large-scaled, high-storied and complicated, use of computer for processing design information has been generalized. However, CAD use in the process of developing architectural design has been neglected greatly in the educational field of architectural field due to the surging of recognition that it may limit the essential property of architectural design. It may be resulted from the limitation of CAD system, that is, it is because of tardy speed of application development for the related areas with the lack of simplicity and clarity of flexibility to be secured on the drawing and user interface. Recent CAD systems, however, overcome such a limitation, convert into object-based design from entity-based drawing, drafting and modeling for implementing design concept of architects and it connects with internet linked to superspeed information communication network and changes process and stream of architectural design. Therefore, this study deals with utility of object based CAD system with products of Autodesk Co. and consequently obtain the following conclusions. First, it expands architect's design areas by supporting cooperative design system based on model-based architectural design and internet. Second, it reduces consumption of personal and material resources and time in the process of drawing production for improving architectural design works. Third, it can reduce the frequent design changes by improving understanding of architectural space with visualization of immediate 3D information, escaping from traditional methods to deliver design information to building owner through 2D drawing or model and perspective drawing requiring much cost and time. Fourth, it keeps exactness without omission or duplication of design information and generate and renew information of all related drawings on a drawing. Fifth, it is possible to change difficult and boring architectural design work into a pleasure owing to immediate modeling and drawing of design idea. In addition, digital drawing generated by using object-based CAD system can playa role of establishing Urban Information System to be used for protecting from building in disaster and urban disasters in connection with GIS numerical map and be used for reference of all kinds of information required fro post-management of buildings. However, what is more important is that surplus time from introduction of object-based CAD system should be used for consideration to be recognized as a good space and building built as a product of this project for comfort to urban people.

      • 대학(大學) 건축학과(建築學科) 재학생(在學生)의 CAD 환경(環境) 및 인식(認識)에 관한 연구(硏究) - 사례대학의 재학생을 대상으로 -

        This study conducts a questionnaire with undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture who will lead the architectural field in future, examines environment and perception of CAD in their home and universities and aims at supplying the data required for setting CAD educational index and building its use environment, and it could obtain the following results. Individual CAD environment of undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture reach a considerable level in hardware part, but they don't have the same level in software part as the hardware and use illegal copy programs. It is shown that they spend their time in using CAD for five to eight hours a week and its main purposes are to perform a project related to architectural design or make report requiring drawing. Major places using CAD are CAD room in university or public PC room equipped with CAD compared to their own houses and most of them have a negative recognition of the convenience of its use. Their satisfaction with CAD use is considerably high and when they submitted their assignments of architectural design project by means of CAD, they had a positive evaluation from their professors and they have such hopes that 'Korean Support Strengthening', 'lowering price through version supply for students' and 'diversification of design symbol' in CAD S/W, and especially, most of respondents have an intention to purchase the original goods when version only for students will be marketed in future. Accordingly, for a qualitative improvement of CAD environment for undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture, universities must be equipped with the various types of CAD S/W and Applications and students' opportunity to access them should be increased. In addition, a method which can enhance using convenience of CAD room and PC room is required and CAD related S/W developers must market the version for students which consider the reality of undergraduates in Korea properly with an appropriate price level in order to settle a sound S/W culture.

        지방자치단체의 주민참여형 마을만들기 사업추진 현황 및 개선방향에 관한 실증 연구 - 전라남도 및 해남군의 관련사업 사례를 중심으로 -

        This study aims to examine the type of residents' participation in village making including the case of "Making Happiness Village" -in the Jeollanam-do province and "Village Making" -in Haenam-gun. The study examines the potential and effects of these projects, draws conclusions and suggests the future direction of village making projects. The results of this study are summarized below. "Making Happiness Village" should be evaluated in detail as it has contributed to the successful and development of traditional Korean residential culture, and has helped to activate and develop agricultural and fishing villages through the improvement of the residential environment and attraction of urban people into the rural area. It also showed the possibility of a project to be settled as a representative of Namdo satisfying the demand for sustainable development. In order to enhance the integrity of a village making project, its master plan must be established and utilized by considering the current status and characteristics of a village, improving its physical environment and seeking a method for economic activation. Policy and economic support from central government and local governments are also required for such a project. The residents' autonomous organization,necessary for unifying the residents' capacity, must organize their own group, such as "Residents' Conference for Village Making (tentative name)" to integrate the existing organizations (women's association, youth group, etc) and establish a conference system to discuss and solve the current issues of the village.

        TBM터널 세그먼트라이닝의 내구성 및 안전성에 주요한 인자는 배면 그라우팅의 상태이다. 복철근으로 시공된 세그먼트을 투과하여 배면상태를 분석할 수 있는 GPR과 MIRA를 적용하여 현장 사용성을 검토하였다. 연속된 측선의 신속한 적용은 GPR이 유리하며 전자기파 산란의 제약을 보완하기 위해 MIRA 분석결과로 보정하면 보다 효과적인 배면상태 평가가 가능하다. 향후, 공기, 물, 채움 그라우트, 지반 등의 경계조건을 검토하여 보다 체계적인 배면그라우트 평가절차를 마련할 예정이다.

        지구단위계획 용적률 인센티브제도 적용 실증 연구

        본 연구는 전남 남악신도시의 공동주택을 대상으로, 실제의 공동주택단지 계획ㆍ설계시 어떠한 방식으로 용적률 인센티브를 적용받고 있는 가를 실증 조사ㆍ분석하였으며, 그 결과 다음 3가지 문제점을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 규제 항목의 경우 반드시 따라야 하는 법적 사항임에도 불구하고 항목별 완화 범위의 최대 용적률 인센티브를 부여 받아 필요한 용적률 인센티브의 상당 부분을 득할 수 있는 구조를 갖고 있어 유도를 목적으로 하는 권장 항목의 적극적이고 다양한 도입ㆍ적용을 상대적으로 어렵게 하고 있다. 둘째, 권장 항목의 경우 정량화가 가능한 몇몇 항목을 제외하고 해당 요구 조건 충족 정도를 가름 할 수 있는 기준이 모호하여 인센티브 적용이 일관적이지 못하고 있다. 셋째, 규제 항목의 도입ㆍ적용에 대한 최소 기준이 없어 비용이 적게 들거나 도입이 수월한 항목을 형식적이고 임의적이며 편의적인 방향으로 도입ㆍ적용하거나 해석하여, 필요 인센티브를 적용 받는 용적률 상향 도구로 활용되고 있다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 개선하기 위해, 앞으로 규제 항목의 인센티브를 없애거나 최소화시키고, 완화 항목을 더욱 구체적으로 세분ㆍ제시하거나 적용 항목 최소 개수를 지정하는 등의 제도적 보완이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. This study examines and analyzes how the floor area ratio (FAR) incentive is applied in the planning and design of actual apartment houses in Namak New Town in Jeonam-do. It found three major problems. First, although regulatory items must satisfy the legal requirements, the structure allows many of the required FAR incentives to be satisfied by giving maximum FAR incentive within the range of mitigation. As a result, it makes the recommended items to attract developers difficult to be more workable. Second, while the satisfaction of the requirements can be evident in the regulatory items, the recommended items have obscure standards to predict whether they meet the requirements or not, except in the case of quantifiable items and inequitable or inconsistent application of the incentive. Third, in the absence of any minimum standard of adoption and application of regulatory items, low cost or easily adopted items were adopted or applied by formal, random and convenient ways and this was used as an instrument to improve FAR through the application of necessary incentives. Therefore, efforts to eliminate or minimize the regulation incentives, or to subdivide them into more specific items, including the numbers of applicable items in the rule, are considered necessary.

        건축관광 프로그램 개발을 위한 관광대상 건축물의 가치지표 설정 및 중요도 분석

        The purpose of this study is to set up of value factors for selecting objectively architectures related to tourism with development of the architecture tour program. For the purpose, characteristics of architectures related to tourism were analyzed, value factors through literature survey were derived, and relative weight between value factors using AHP survey by architectural experts were studied. The results is as follows. Architectures related to tourism were classified into buildings as tour resources and as tour facilities. Those architectures involve physical, meaning, and using characteristics but one kind of characteristics is not influenced to a building. With change of tour type, those architectures are influenced with more various and complex factors. Value factors of architecture related to tourism are derived five value factors in primary level and 18 value factors in second level. The relative weight in primary level is history, architecture, placeness, economy, and sociality in order. In second level, value factors within history and sociality were realized with same value in importance between researchers and field experts. The evaluation frame about architectures related to tourism was made with the results of AHP analysis.

        건축·인테리어 디자인과정의 커뮤니케이션을 위한 온라인 다중 사용자 가상환경 활용 사례 연구

        Architectural & Interior design communication is a process of exchanging information between architects and other professionals, clients, and prospectus users, and a design medium is a means of communication. Using non-immersive, conventional media, it is challenging for architects communicate physical details and users' activities in not yet built three-dimensional buildings to others. Recent advances online, Multi-User Virtual Environments (MUVEs) allow architects and other professionals to experience a virtually constructed building together using anthropomorphic avatars. In addition, MUVEs also enable them to be aware of the presence and activity of each other. Previous studies suggest that the aforementioned characteristics of MUVEs may facilitate communication between architects and others. But these are focused on communication in controlled experimental conditions. This paper discusses the ways in which MUVEs are applied for authentic and long-term collaboration, design studio, and cultural heritage reconstruction projects, produced by digital design group at the UC Berkeley and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and analyzes the influences of MUVEs on those projects. MUVEs helped more precise communication between architects, electronic engineers, and medical staffs, who are collaborating for developing pioneering technology for hospitals. In design studios, MUVEs allowed students to experience other students' design outputs, and thus helped them share ideas mutually. In addition, in cultural heritage reconstruction projects, MUVEs were used for communicating with historians and residents in order to collect evidence. Based on this study, we propose that MUVEs have strong potential for enhancing the communication between architects and other professionals.
