        Purpose of this study is studying direction that change of design by development of new digital technology. And with new technology, find direction of architectural design. Digital technology for architectural design demonstrates hightechnology or is not limit. Must recognize change for our idea and necessity. We can know change in relation of photography and impressionism. Idea and hitting on a thought which is arts by new technology changed. Finally, we must develop techniques of design on the basis of technology and look for possibility of new expression. Digital medium expands communication with designer and customer because there is special quality of nonlinearity, interactivity and audiovisuality unlike old medium. Digital medium can take advantage of techniques of new design. Can construct R&D and database of design and improve quality of design. Designer must master use skill to take advantage of digital technology in design. Because quality of design becomes different according to degree that use. Also, developer of digital technology must supply design tool such as previous design method. Creativity that architectural design that allow fetters in digital technology can understand design in new viewpoint is required. Architectural design may be magnified by architectural design that allow fetters in multimedia. We may see experience between new time and space of architectural design and reappearance space reappeared in cyberspace. Architect is going to run role as developer of culture. Value and technology of digital design may offer more more possibility and an opportunity since Intustrial-Revolution.

      • 객체지향 캐드시스템을 활용한 견적관리 시스템 연구

        It is known that to automate the quantity take-off process enables you to increase the productivity best among the construction business field. However, the limitation of 2D(Two-dimension) CAD System prevented a cost-estimating system which makes the great effects on the quantity take-off process from being developed. This study aims that you can automate both the itemized statements and the quantity take-off process by using commercially available object-oriented CAD system. The commercially available CAD system today does not give us entire satisfaction. This study shows the deduction of the old boundaries of the object-oriented CAD system and the solution of those problems. And it also studied about the quantity take-off process and the automated cost-estimating system that can be used in the simple and plain repair-maintenance work such as the execution drawing which doesn't need the complicated drawings.

      • 객체기반 CAD 시스템의 건축설계적 효용에 관한 연구

        As architectural forms tend to be large-scaled, high-storied and complicated, use of computer for processing design information has been generalized. However, CAD use in the process of developing architectural design has been neglected greatly in the educational field of architectural field due to the surging of recognition that it may limit the essential property of architectural design. It may be resulted from the limitation of CAD system, that is, it is because of tardy speed of application development for the related areas with the lack of simplicity and clarity of flexibility to be secured on the drawing and user interface. Recent CAD systems, however, overcome such a limitation, convert into object-based design from entity-based drawing, drafting and modeling for implementing design concept of architects and it connects with internet linked to superspeed information communication network and changes process and stream of architectural design. Therefore, this study deals with utility of object based CAD system with products of Autodesk Co. and consequently obtain the following conclusions. First, it expands architect's design areas by supporting cooperative design system based on model-based architectural design and internet. Second, it reduces consumption of personal and material resources and time in the process of drawing production for improving architectural design works. Third, it can reduce the frequent design changes by improving understanding of architectural space with visualization of immediate 3D information, escaping from traditional methods to deliver design information to building owner through 2D drawing or model and perspective drawing requiring much cost and time. Fourth, it keeps exactness without omission or duplication of design information and generate and renew information of all related drawings on a drawing. Fifth, it is possible to change difficult and boring architectural design work into a pleasure owing to immediate modeling and drawing of design idea. In addition, digital drawing generated by using object-based CAD system can playa role of establishing Urban Information System to be used for protecting from building in disaster and urban disasters in connection with GIS numerical map and be used for reference of all kinds of information required fro post-management of buildings. However, what is more important is that surplus time from introduction of object-based CAD system should be used for consideration to be recognized as a good space and building built as a product of this project for comfort to urban people.

To detailed item, secure "Flexibility of campus space by learning environment change" and studies and examines "Campus ashes construction plan by step by new earth purchase" we wish to propose "Long-term and systematic synthesis master plan" and "Newly-appointed official and present official new construction plan".

      • 대학(大學) 건축학과(建築學科) 재학생(在學生)의 CAD 환경(環境) 및 인식(認識)에 관한 연구(硏究) - 사례대학의 재학생을 대상으로 -

        This study conducts a questionnaire with undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture who will lead the architectural field in future, examines environment and perception of CAD in their home and universities and aims at supplying the data required for setting CAD educational index and building its use environment, and it could obtain the following results. Individual CAD environment of undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture reach a considerable level in hardware part, but they don't have the same level in software part as the hardware and use illegal copy programs. It is shown that they spend their time in using CAD for five to eight hours a week and its main purposes are to perform a project related to architectural design or make report requiring drawing. Major places using CAD are CAD room in university or public PC room equipped with CAD compared to their own houses and most of them have a negative recognition of the convenience of its use. Their satisfaction with CAD use is considerably high and when they submitted their assignments of architectural design project by means of CAD, they had a positive evaluation from their professors and they have such hopes that 'Korean Support Strengthening', 'lowering price through version supply for students' and 'diversification of design symbol' in CAD S/W, and especially, most of respondents have an intention to purchase the original goods when version only for students will be marketed in future. Accordingly, for a qualitative improvement of CAD environment for undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture, universities must be equipped with the various types of CAD S/W and Applications and students' opportunity to access them should be increased. In addition, a method which can enhance using convenience of CAD room and PC room is required and CAD related S/W developers must market the version for students which consider the reality of undergraduates in Korea properly with an appropriate price level in order to settle a sound S/W culture.

        The purpose of this study is to improve productivity of architectural space planning(A.S.P,) by computer system and to optimize ASP. A searching algorithm is the best way to slave optimized A.S.P. Because architectural design is too many various site situations and client's demands to specify the general solving methods. This method seek the best design case in all possibility and to be modeled as this; Seongbukgu's case that is city structure former times negative by in facilities utilization of the near street limit. But, case of Gangnamgu and Songpagu is thought that environment and utilization etc. of area life of old people are affinity with quality of life environment of old people when see that is using various area facilities using electric railway and a bus etc. actively. It is looked by the other that individual's special quality uses area facilities according to life partner's existence and nonexistence and family composition and existence and nonexistence of profession and distinction of sex. Show difference of external behavior according to public garden and market and supermarket and welfare facilities etc.'s location in dwelling environment of area and relation about facilities of area has been formed and old people and dwelling environment of area can know that is that do interaction. Environment that access about facilities may have to be easy, and can live that communicating closely with area's inhabitantses may have to consist so that old people may can run various external life.. Notions of the evaluated value is an profit(+) and expense(-) that decide design intention. To adapt real planning, 1. A raster type space cell has logical site informations. 2. To be evaluate various factor. 3. To reflect operator's design mind, they should add an extra weight on evaluated value.

        The purpose of this study is to suggest the possibility which can use as instrument of design by CAD system. And it proposes how makes 3D object model through 2D Drawings in Design process. This study has review the 'Study Drawing' in design process, and application method of CAD as the Architectural Design Integration System. The Architecture can work in ani of the traditional 2D representations as well as in 3D and immediate visual feedback of his work in isometric and perspective projrctions.

      • 건설 통합 설계를 위한 라이브러리 구축 방법에 관한 연구

        The Subject of this research is building integrated library to supported to CAAD of the A.E.C field that is oriented to the environment of integrated design. In this research, we design and implement a new library model as a solution of design-data sharing and multi-displaying that is on the rise among many problems in construction integration. We name this integrated library ACO(Actual Component Object) and using the ACO, we can share data without loss in the fields such as construction, estimation, structure. Together with this, the different expressions along each field provide the solution of sharing both graphic data and non-graphic data. This ACO is a newly conceptualized Library that is able to supply a composite structure to an architect(designer) through the internet-based ACO System. To the ACO System that supplies those ACO service, we introduce the concept of DBMS in design and design administrator, and we investigate the solutions that enable an architect to use this ACO directly on the Web.

        This research is to grasp the identify the curriculum development procedure for architectural computer graphics. In order to achieve the above purpose, this study was carried out job analysis of architectural graphic designer. Architectural Computer Graphics Curriculum is developed by tasks analysis. Each characteristics are as fellow: 1. job-related knowledges are based on architectural design parts, 2. skilled workers should be made on the base of job analysis and O.J.T(On the job training) 3. trained students are related many kinds of all industry parts of Architecture & interior Especially college students have needs for design part of architecture fit on study in these curriculum.

      • 국내 실내건축 관련학과의 컴퓨터 교육현황에 관한 연구 - 4년제 대학교와 2년제 대학의 교과편성 비교를 중심으로 -

        This study is aimed to analyze present states of computer education in interior design dept. and therefore to offer basic data in order to establish middle and long term plan on computer education. According to results of analysis, computer education course accounts for 10.1 percent in total curriculum. But this component ratio has great difference between university and jumopr college. Namely computer education course of college is much more weighter than that of university. It seems to be results from college's characteristic strategies. But this results to unsuitable curriculum allocation. To solve this problem, further examination of linking computer's course with drafting and drawing course should be required. And to heighten more effect of computer education, other circumstance as well as educational facility should be improved and common CAD laboratory should be produced.
