        생명과학Ⅱ 교육과정 및 교과서에 나타난 원핵생물의 유전자 발현 조절 내용 분석

        In the 2015 Korean College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE) decided to acknowledge two answers for a question related to the regulation of gene expression because of a presentational problem. In this research, the Korean science curricular and the Life ScienceⅡ textbooks were analyzed in order to diagnose the presentational problem, and we tried to suggest how to improve them. Regulation of gene expression is a key process that explains the molecular control of genetic information, and since the fourth curriculum it has continuously been included in Korean science courses with the exception of the sixth curriculum. All textbooks written according to the 2009-revised curriculum contained the subject of gene expression control; however there are lack of explanation about the scientific terms and connection with the previous class in most textbooks, and there even was a case with scientific errors. The new scientific terms in Life Sciences Ⅱ should be sufficiently explained and linked to the basic concept of gene in modern life science perspective because many new terms appeared in modern life science textbooks, and most of them are on the gene concept. It also needs to reflect these in the revision of the curriculum and improve the expression for the terms in the new textbook.

        신어 형성의 음운론적 특성 연구 - 2002~2008년 신어를 대상으로 -

        The formation of neologisms can take place on various levels ranging from phrases to words to even smaller units, such as morphemes and phonemes, and thus involves multiple areas of linguistics, including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and so on. However, research in neologism formation is mostly concerned with morphological and semantic issues. This paper seeks to fill the lacuna in neologism studies by examining the phonological features of neologism formation. First, existing studies of neologism formation are reviewed to reevaluate the typology of formation processes. For the purpose of this study, the neologisms collected by the Korean Neologism Investigation Project between 2002 and 2018, that is, 7,763 neologisms in total, was used to extract those where phonological factors were involved in the formation processes. These neologisms are then categorized according to phonological criteria and their frequencies are calculated in a Web-crawled corpus consisting of Naver news articles in order to determine their phonological characteristics. Finally, the paper investigates the usage trends of the phonological neologisms between 2002 and 2018 to examine the correlation between phonological phenomena and the formation as well as the survival of neologisms. 신어 형성에 관여하는 요소는 주로 구절이나 단어지만 때로는 형태소나 음소처럼 더 작은 단위도 포함되기 때문에 음운론, 형태론, 통사론, 의미론의 여러 영역에 걸친 복합적, 다층적인 접근이 필요하다. 그러나 지금까지의 신어 연구는 형태와 의미에 국한되어 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구는 신어 형성에 나타나는 음운론적 특징을 밝힘으로써 그간의 연구가 다루지 않았던 영역을 살펴볼 것이다. 먼저, 지금까지의 신어 연구를 검토하여 신어의 유형을 살펴보고, 신어 형성의 과정을 유형화한다. 다음으로, 이 연구를 수행하기 위해 2002년에서 2018년까지 국립국어원에서 수집한 신어 총 7,763개를 분석하여 음운론적 기제에 의해 형성된 신어를 추출한다. 이렇게 추출한 신어를 음운론적 기준에 따라 범주화하고 네이버 뉴스 기사에서 수집한 웹-크롤링 말뭉치를 활용하여 각각의 음운론적 특징을 살펴본다. 끝으로, 이 연구에서는 2002년부터 2018년까지 수집된 음운론적 신어의 사용 추이 조사를 통해 음운 현상이 신어 형성뿐 아니라 그 생존 양상에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지 살펴본다.

        조선 시대 언간을 활용한 언어변화 연구-「현풍곽씨언간」과 달성지역어의 비교를 중심으로-

        This study aims to examine the relationship between documentary dialects and on-site dialects and to examine linguistic changes in the Dalseong region’s sub-dialect by using the Korean linguistic history’s literary material “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan” and on-site dialect material “Korean Dialect Materials.” The main subject of this study is “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan” a documentary material in Korean linguistic history that reflects the Dalseong region sub-dialect among the Eongan(letter)s of the Joseon Dynasty. A corpus was constructed by using 167 pieces of “Hyeonphung Gwak's Eongan” in order to figure out the quantitative linguistic characteristics reflected in “Hyeonphung Gwak's Eongan”. The scale of the study was carried out on about 14,000 words, and research was conducted by adding lemmatization, POS-tagged corpus, and phonological phenomenon annotation. Through the POS tagged corpus and phonological phenomenon annotation constructed in this way, it was possible to quantitatively examine the linguistic characteristics of “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan” and the results were compared with the survey results of the “Korean Dialect Materials”, which reflected the on-site dialect of the Dalseong regional language and the diachronic change of the Dalseong sub-dialect was examined. As a result, among the grammatical forms of “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan,” such as particle ‘-deoreo’ and ‘-(eu)ran’ were found with high frequency in the survey, which could be related to the content characteristics of the Eongan. Moreover, the text structure of the Eongan genre could be examined through the aspect of using the sentence ending of “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan.” As a result of comparing the expressions of “Korean Dialect Materials” and the expressions used in “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan,” it was challenging to find a meaningful correlation. Only 47 dialect-related expressions were identified in “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan,” which is significantly less, and this is considered to be the result of the fact that the material characteristics of “Hyeonphung Gwak’s Eongan” and “Korean Dialect Materials” are different. 이 연구는 문헌 방언과 현장 방언의 관련성을 검토하고, 국어사 문헌 자료인 「현풍곽씨언간」과 현장 방언 자료인 한국방언자료집 을 활용하여 달성지역어의 언어변화를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 주요 대상은 조선시대 언간 중 달성지역어가 반영된 국어사 문헌 자료인 「현풍곽씨언간」이다. 「현풍곽씨언간」에 반영된 언어적 특징을 계량적으로 파악하기 위해 167편의 「현풍곽씨언간」을 대상으로 말뭉치를 구축하였다. 규모는 약 14,000어절 정도로 대표화 및 형태 분석, 음운현상 주석을 진행하여 연구를 수행하였다. 이렇게 구축된 형태 분석 말뭉치와 음운현상 주석을 통해 「현풍곽씨언간」의 언어적 특징을 계량적으로 살펴볼 수 있었고, 그 결과를 달성 지역어의 현장 방언이 반영된 한국방언자료집 의 조사 결과와 비교하여 달성지역어의 통시적 변화를 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 「현풍곽씨언간」의 문법 형태 중 조사에서는 ‘-ᄃᆞ려(더러)’와 ‘-(으)란’ 등이 높은 빈도로 나타났는데 이는 언간이 가지는 내용적 특징과 연결할 수 있다. 또 「현풍곽씨언간」의 어미 사용 양상을 통해서는 언간 장르의 텍스트 구조를 살펴볼 수 있었다. 「현풍곽씨언간」에 사용된 어휘와 한국방언자료집 의 조사 어휘를 비교한 결과 유의미한 상관관계를 파악하기 어려웠다. 이는 「현풍곽씨언간」에 47개 정도의 방언 관련 어휘를 확인할 수 있지만 그 수가 많지 않고, 「현풍곽씨언간」과 한국방언자료집 의 자료적 성격이 다르기 때문에 생긴 결과로 판단된다.

        3D-culture models as drug-testing platforms in canine lymphoma and their cross talk with lymph node-derived stromal cells

        Background: Malignant lymphoma is the most common hematopoietic malignancy in dogs, and relapse is frequently seen despite aggressive initial treatment. In order for the treatment of these recurrent lymphomas in dogs to be effective, it is important to choose a personalized and sensitive anticancer agent. To provide a reliable tool for drug development and for personalized cancer therapy, it is critical to maintain key characteristics of the original tumor. Objectives: In this study, we established a model of hybrid tumor/stromal spheroids and investigated the association between canine lymphoma cell line (GL-1) and canine lymph node (LN)-derived stromal cells (SCs). Methods: A hybrid spheroid model consisting of GL-1 cells and LN-derived SC was created using ultra low attachment plate. The relationship between SCs and tumor cells (TCs) was investigated using a coculture system. Results: TCs cocultured with SCs were found to have significantly upregulated multidrug resistance genes, such as P-qp, MRP1, and BCRP, compared with TC monocultures. Additionally, it was revealed that coculture with SCs reduced doxorubicin-induced apoptosis and G2/M cell cycle arrest of GL-1 cells. Conclusions: SCs upregulated multidrug resistance genes in TCs and influenced apoptosis and the cell cycle of TCs in the presence of anticancer drugs. This study revealed that understanding the interaction between the tumor microenvironment and TCs is essential in designing experimental approaches to personalized medicine and to predict the effect of drugs.

        알레르기성 비염환아들의 양도락 특성에 관한 연구

        Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of Ryodoraku Score in the children who visited department of pediatrics, hospital of Korean medicine with allergic rhinitis as the chief complaint. Methods Subjects were 80 children with allergic rhinitis. We calculated the average Ryodoraku Score (RS, ${\mu}A$), and compared the average of each meridian system. And we classified the children by several groups (depending on age, additional allergic disease), and accomplished a comparative analysis. Results 1. The average of Ryodoraku Score in 80 children was $76.36{\pm}22.72$. 2. The figure of H3 (心), H5 (三焦), F1 (脾), F2 (肝), F3 (腎), F4 (膀胱), F5 (三焦), F6 (胃) had significant statistical differences compared to the total average. 3. Comparing the group having only allergic rhinitis to group having allergic rhinitis and other allergic disease, showed significant statistical difference in H2 (心包), H3 (心). 4. Analyzed by age, there's a significant statistical difference in F1 (脾), F4 (膀胱). Conclusion We found that H5 (三焦), F1 (脾), F4 (膀胱) showed significant statistical difference in Ryodoraku Score, and F1 (脾) had the highest relevance. The research indicate meaningful difference depending on age, additional allergic disease.

        간호대학생의 자기성찰 및 통찰력, 학업적 자기효능감이 임상추론역량에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of nursing students' self-reflection and insight, and academic selfefficacy on their clinical reasoning competence. Methods: Data were collected from 147 third- and fourth-year nursing students who had more than 6 months of clinical training experience. Clinical reasoning competence, self-reflection and insight, and academic self-efficacy were measured using self-reported questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted with IBM SPSS 25.0 using one-way ANOVA, independent t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Clinical reasoning competence was positively correlated with self-reflection and insight (r=.24, p=.003) and academic self-efficacy (r=.30, p<.001). Academic self-efficacy (β=.23, p=.011), dissatisfaction with major (β=-.17, p=.034), and 5∼8 case studies (β=-.39, p=.027) were identified as factors influencing clinical reasoning competence (adjusted R2=.15). Conclusion: To improve the clinical reasoning competence of nursing students, it is necessary to develop the academic self-efficacy of complex cases and provide critical inquiries, debriefing tailored to clinical reasoning, and sufficient reflection during clinical and simulation practice. 이 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 자기성찰 및 통찰력, 학업적 자기효능감이 임상추론역량에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 것이다. Methods: 서술적 조사연구가 수행되었으며, 이 연구의 참여자는 C시에 소재한 3개 대학에서 임상실습을 경험한 3, 4학년이다. 자료수집은 구조화된 설문지를 160명에게 시행했으며, 불성실하게 응답한 13부를 제외하고 총 147명의 자료를 최종 분석하였다. 측정도구는 자기성찰 및 통찰력, 학업적 자기효능감, 임상추론역량이다. 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0을 이용하여 one-way ANOVA, independent t-tests, Pearson correlation coefficient, 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. Results: 임상추론역량은 자기성찰 및 통찰력(r=.241, p=.003), 학업적 자기효능감(r=.300, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 또한 임상추론역량에 영향을 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인은 학업적 자기효능감(β=.231, p=.007)이었고, 연령 30~39세(β=-.272 p=.001), 전공만족도 불만족(β=-.197, p=.011), 사례연구 수행횟수 5~8회(β=-.340, p=.049)가 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다(수정된 R2=.208). Conclusion: 간호대학생에서 임상추론역량을 향상시키기 위해서는 학업적 자기효능감을 향상시키고, 연령, 전공만족도를 고려한 임상추론역량 향상을 위한 전략이 필요하다.

        Inhibition of PP2A activity by H2O2 during mitosis disrupts nuclear envelope reassembly and alters nuclear shape

        Many types of cancer cells exhibit abnormal nuclear shapes induced by various molecular changes. However, whether reactive oxygen species (ROS) induce nuclear deformation has not been fully addressed. Here, we show that hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) treatment induced concentration-dependent alterations in nuclear shape that were abolished by pretreatment with the antioxidant N-acetyl-L-cysteine or by catalase overexpression. Interestingly, treatment with H2O2 induced nuclear shape alterations significantly more frequently in mitotic cells than in asynchronous cells, suggesting that H2O2 mainly affects nuclear envelope disassembly and/or reassembly processes. Because protein phosphatase 2 A (PP2A) activity is reported to be involved in nuclear envelope reassembly during mitosis, we investigated the possible involvement of PP2A. Indeed, H2O2 reduced the activity of PP2A, an effect that was mimicked by the PP1 and PP2A inhibitor okadaic acid. Moreover, overexpression of PP2A but not PP1 or PP4 partially rescued H2O2-induced alterations in nuclear shape, indicating that the decrease in PP2A activity induced by H2O2 is specifically involved in the observed nuclear shape alterations. We further show that treatment of mitotic cells with H2O2 induced the mislocalization of BAF (barrier-to-autointegration factor), a substrate of PP2A, during telophase. This effect was associated with Lamin A/C mislocalization and was rescued by PP2A overexpression. Collectively, our findings suggest that H2O2 preferentially affects mitotic cells through PP2A inhibition, which induces the subsequent mislocalization of BAF and Lamin A/C during nuclear envelope reassembly, leading to the formation of an abnormal nuclear shape.
