The purpose of this research is to understand the relationship between children’s affective empathy, their mother’s cognitive and affective empathy, and children’s prosocial behavior; as well as to examine ways of enhancing children’s prosocial behavior by analyzing the factors affecting its development. The results of this study may be summarized as follows. First, girls generally had higher levels of empathetic ability and pro-social behavior than boys. Secondly, there was not to be no significant correlation between the children’s affective empathetic ability and the mothers’ cognitive and affective empathetic abilities. However, there was a significant association between the affective empathy of the children and the mothers’ cognitive empathetic abilities with the children’s prosocial behavior. Thirdly, both the affective empathy of the children and the mothers’ cognitive empathy predicted the level of the children’s prosocial behavior.

This study is focused in particular on Interactive Performance, where the artist makes use of digital technology directly on stage. In this endeavor, Adrien Mondot’s “Cinématique,” a project which made use of its dance troupe’s techniques of its own design, will be the subject of analysis. The project’s ingenious and uniquely designed software, a tool which makes virtual motility to dance routines possible, is a prime example of an interaction between a performance artist and digital media. As such, the primary focus of this study is on understanding the scope of potential and scalability for modern performance art through the analysis of “Cinématique” and its interactive characteristics. The study concludes by suggesting there be ample debates over the line that divides the correct use and misappropriation of digital media technology, assuring that it is used for the enhancement of performance art experiences, through a thorough comprehension of the potential and the necessity of digital media in performance art.

자동차 실내 공간 IP(Instrument Panel) 디자인의 소비자 감성특성에 관한 연구

(Background and Purpose) In the interior space of automobile, the information and cognition by visuals are very influential by the perception of the human body, and it is also dependent on the generation of various psychological emotions. Especially, the interior space of automobiles is becoming an important space in the lifestyle of modern people, and the role and design function of each area are becoming very important. It is necessary to analyze and synthesize emotional opinions on IP, CP and sheet design, which are the areas that have the most influence in the interior space of automobiles. Therefore, this study is to understand the fact that detailed survey research on IP and CP design is insufficient academically, and to analyze and derive direct detailed characteristics through consultation and questionnaire process of consumers who are buyers of IP and CP design characteristics of four domestic automobiles, and to synthesize basic data applicable to future design and research. (method) This study is based on the data of Korea Automobile Industry Association (KARI) in analyzing the trend of consumers in domestic automobiles, and the IP(Instrument Panel) design of the high frequency of vehicles distributed in the domestic automobile market since the development of autonomous driving since 2010.,In addition, a survey and statistical study were conducted on 24 IP designs at four automobile sales centers, which are the most sold in Korea. (Result) In terms of IP and CP design, it was possible to recognize the result that convenience of driver prospect by concentration of dashboard is important in operationality. In terms of visibility, the faster reading and recognition of instrument, which is a visual activity, is, the higher satisfaction is. Therefore, for IP, the material or color design of CP or other areas is very important. In addition, it was possible to analyze the result that functionality and satisfaction were high when applied to the similar and complementary color scheme with other areas visually connected with IP and CP, and in satisfaction, horizontal stability had a great effect on comfort and design function in terms of visual aspect. (Conclusion) The results of this study are reflected on the needs of consumers in recent years, and therefore, it is necessary to change into colors and materials that reflect more diverse consumer emotions in the interior space of future automobiles. For this, it is necessary to evolve into a diverse space with the application of consumers' emotions along with the development of various materials, and more research is needed in the direction of emotional design for the interior space of the automobile during autonomous driving.

To estalish bio-indices for detection of the development of multistep hepatotumorigenesis, rats were fed water containing 0.01% diethylnitrosamine (DEN) ad libitum for 13-14 weeks. Hepatocellular carcinoma was developed by treatment with DEN, DEN only was able to induce hepatic tumors in rats without any other cocarcinogen. Compared to control group, liver cytosol protein concentration in all treated grous was significantly decreased (p<0.05). From week to week, $20{\alpha}$-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase ($20{\alpha}$-HSD) activity was increased and the highest activity was observed on the 12th week (p<0.05). In addition, the urine biopterin concentration was also significantly increased compared to control groups (p<0.05) in a time course manner. These results indicated that $20{\alpha}$-HSD activity, urine biopterin and liver cytosol protein concentration might be very useful maker to hepatic tumorigenesis.

오네이로이의 상점 : 관람객 개개인을 위한 시각화

‘오네이로이의 상점’은 개인에게 초점을 맞추어 제작되었다. ‘오네이로이의 상점’은 꿈이라는 테마를 가지고 있다. 이런 ‘오네이로이의 상점’을 구성하는 요소로는 관람객이 직접 인터렉티브할 수 있는 게임 형태의 미디어 아트와 뇌파 추출, 해당 값을 통한 단어 추출, 그 단어를 시각화하는 과정이 존재한다. 이때 시각화하는 과정은 아두이노를 활용하여 만든 로봇을 통해 이루어진다. 이 과정에서 단순히 뇌파 값으로 그림을 그리는 것이 아닌 뇌파 추출 값을 바탕으로 그에 알맞은 단어를 생성한다. 또한 이 시각화 된 그림을 관람객에게 전달한다. 단어를 하나 도출하고, 그 값을 기반으로 그림을 그려 이 그림을 전달하는 과정을 통해 관람객은 자신만의 전시를 체험하는 경험을 할 수 있다.

관계중심의 유아 인성교육

본 연구에서는 Nel Noddings(1984)의 ‘배려’ 개념을 이용해서 관계중심의 유아 인성교육을 위한 기초적인 단계로서 교사가 유아들을 대상으로 실천한 배려행동 경험과 그 경험의 의미가 무엇인지 알아보았다. 연구참여자는 서울시와 경기도 및 경상북도에 위치한 어린이집과 유치원 등의 교육현장에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아들과 그들의 교사들을 연구 참여자로 모집하여서, 6주에서 8주 간의 연구기간 동안 교사들은 자신들의 경험을 바탕으로 총 15-18회의 일지를 작성하였다. 필요한 경우 인터뷰를 추가로 실시하였고, 일지를 통해 수집된 자료는 코딩과 범주화 등의 질적자료 분석방법을 통해서 분석하고 하나의 연구문제당 4개의 주제를 도출하였다. 본 연구에 따르면 교사들은 배려행동을 제각기 다른 방식으로 이해하고 실천하였으나 공통적으로 발견된 배려행동 경험은 두 가지로 나뉠 수 있다. 유아의 입장에서 생각하고 정서를 공감하는 보다 자연스러운 행동을 배려경험으로 실천한 경우와 유아의 자율성을 강조하며 친절과 칭찬으로 유아를 격려하는 기술적인 방법으로 경험한 경우였다. 교사의 배려행동 경험의 의미에 관해서 교사들은 그들의 배려행동이 자기반성의 통로, 배려에 대한 재고, 유아와의 라포 형성, 유아를 변화시키는 원동력의 의미를 지닌다고 보았다. 본 연구결과는 교사들은 유아들을 배려하기 위해서 어떠한 기술과 전략을 사용해야 하는지에 대해서 고민할 것이 아니라 타인을 돌보려는 자연적인 성향과 사랑을 함양할필요가 있다는 점과 교사교육을 통한 교사 배려교육이 유아인성교육의 출발점이 될 수 있음을 시사한다. Based on the concept of ‘caring’ developed by Nel Noddings (1984), this study examined teachers’ experiences of caring behavior for young children and its meanings as a basic step for relationship-based character education for children. The researcher recruited 5-year-old children and their teachers as research participants who attended or worked in child care centers and kindergartens located in the city of Seoul and the provinces of Kyonggi and northern Kyungsang. The participants completed 15-18 journals based on their caring experiences during the period of 6-8 weeks. When necessary, interviews were conducted. Data derived from the journals and interviews were analyzed by qualitative research methods such as coding and categorizing, which resulted in four themes per research question. According to the study, the teachers’ understanding of caring behavior varied, however, the common experiences that they had can include the following: Teachers were able to think from the point of view of a child and to have empathy for children’s feelings whereas some teachers emphasized children’s autonomy and employed techniques such as kindness and praise in order to care for children. In regard to the meanings of caring behavior which teachers constructed, they viewed caring behavior as the route to self-reflection, reconsideration of caring, formation of rapport with children, and dynamics for changing children. The findings of this study indicate that it is necessary for teachers to cultivate their love and natural inclination for caring others rather than to think about what techniques and strategies they should use, and that educating teachers about caring through teacher education could be the starting point of character education for young children.

A Case Study of a Social Worker`s Permissive Attitude toward the Cursing of Multicultural Children in South Korea

이 논문은 한국의 지역 복지관의 방과후 학교 프로그램에서 소수민족 학생이 경험하는 언어폭력과 사회복지사의 역할에 대해 논한다. 저자는 결함이론이 다문화가정 아동들에 대한 사회복지사의 관점에 얼마나 깊게 내재해있는가에 대해밝히고 어떻게 결함이론이 사회복지사가 아이들의 언어폭력과 관련된 문제들을 다루는 방식을 지배하는 가에 대해 주목한다. 연구 참여자인 사회복지사는 아이들을 부족하고 불우한 희생자로 보는 경향이 있었으며, 이러한 관점은 아이들이 경험하는 언어폭력에 대한 통제를 약화시켰다. 특히 다문화가정 아동들이 분리된 환경에 놓일 때 사회복지사의 허용적 태도에 의해 구체화된 다문화가정 아동에 대한 결함이론과 또래들의 말과 행동을 모방하려는 아동들의 경향성은 아동들의 언어폭력 경험을 유지시키고 순환시킬 수 있다. 이는 사회복지사들이 부지불식간에 아동들의 욕구와 정서적 안전을 도외시할 수 있는 위험에 놓이게 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 사례연구를 통해서 결함이론의 관점에 의해서 다문화가정 아동들의 가능성을 제한하기 보다는 그들의 장점과 가능성 및 잠재력에 초점을 맞추는 관점의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. The aim of this paper is to examine multicultural children`s experiences of verbal violence and the role of social workers in an afterschool program at a social welfare center in South Korea. The researcher found the deficit theory to be deeply embedded in the social worker`s view of multicultural children. The researcher highlighted how it governed her ways of dealing with the issues of children`s verbal violence. As the social worker viewed multicultural children as victims who are deficient and deprived, their verbal violence were not constrained. Therefore, the conjunction of the deficit construction of multicultural children, embodied in a social worker`s permissive style, and children`s behavioral tendency to imitate how their peers talk and what they do maintains and circulates children`s verbal violence. This also puts social workers at risk of unwittingly neglecting children`s needs and emotional security. Therefore, this case study points out the importance of focusing on the strengths, possibilities, and potentials that multicultural children possess, rather than limiting their possibilities through the lens of deficit theory.
