“이상한 나라의 앨리스” 영화 의상에 나타난 초현실주의 미적 특성

Development of computer graphic technology enabled human imagination to be perfectly reenacted as an actual world and the audience may feel a psychological vicarious satisfaction through the characters leading the movie by visualizing the desire of the contemporary people. It is movie costumes that express these characters most suitably and personality, historical background and overall mood (ambience) of the character are expressed to the audience through movie costumes. Depending on expression technique of this surrealism, movie costume of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ was analyzed and the result of consideration by classifying such costumes into aesthetic features having a nature of fantasy, amusement, freedom and avant-garde style is as follows. First, movie costume of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ has a fantastic nature of surrealism. Objet of natural substance is expressed through depaysement and fantastic touch of natural substance is expressed in the costume. Second, movie costume of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ represents a sense of amusement of surrealism. Costume is expressed in a amusing way by vesting a new meaning without limitation of usage in strangeness through combination of objet and inversion. Third, movie costume of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ represents a nature of freedom of surrealism. Unconsciousness of surrealism is expressed in costume by collage technique of depaysement and automatism and without limitation of material, material is used freely. Fourth, movie costume of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ has a nature of avant-garde style of surrealism. A grotesque image is created through internal inversion of body and disintegration, deformation and distortion in structural form of costume and human body and a sense of avant-garde style is expressed.

A small proportion of cancer cells have stem-cell-like properties, are resistant to standard therapy and are associated with a poor prognosis. The metabolism of such drug-resistant cells differs from that of nearby non-resistant cells. In this study, the metabolism of drug-resistant lung adenocarcinoma cells was investigated. The expression of genes associated with oxidative phosphorylation in the mitochondrial membrane was negatively correlated with the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma. Because the mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) reflects the functional status of mitochondria and metastasis is the principal cause of death due to cancer, the relationship between MMP and metastasis was evaluated. Cells with a higher MMP exhibited greater migration and invasion than those with a lower MMP. Cells that survived treatment with cisplatin, a standard chemotherapeutic drug for lung adenocarcinoma, exhibited increased MMP and enhanced migration and invasion compared with parental cells. Consistent with these findings, inhibition of mitochondrial activity significantly impeded the migration and invasion of cisplatinresistant cells. RNA-sequencing analysis indicated that the expression of mitochondrial complex genes was upregulated in cisplatin-resistant cells. These results suggested that drug-resistant cells have a greater MMP and that inhibition of mitochondrial activity could be used to prevent metastasis of drug-resistant lung adenocarcinoma cells.
