제한적 데이터 하에서 확률적 상태 외란을 갖는 반회분식 반응기 모델의 매개 변수 추정을 위한 체계적 접근법

내부적으로 kinetic를 가지는 모델의 파라미터를 추정하기 위해서는 DOE등을 통해 얻은 다양한 형태의 데이터가 필요한 경우가 일반적이다. 이 연구에서는 질적으로 제한된 데이터를 사용해서 확률적 상태 외란을 갖는 SDE 형태의 반 회분식 반응기 모델의 매개 변수 추정의 한 방법을 제시한다. 이때, 제한된 데이터 하에서는 모델의 모든 파라미터를 추정하는 것이 불가능한 경우가 많은데, 이런 illconditioned problem을 해결할 수 있는 파라미터 Ranking 및 Ranking based parameter subset selection method를 SDEs model의 파라미터 추정 기법에 적용하여 확률적 상태 외란의 크기 및 모델 파라미터를 동시에 추정한다. 이를 위해 기존의 Ranking 및 subset selection method에 stochastic model의 특정을 반영할 수 있는 항을 추가했고, 기존의 SDEs model의 파라미터 추정 기법의 단점을 개선하여 하나의 알고리즘 하에서 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 구조화했다. 제안된 기법의 시연을 위해, Virtual plant를 사용해서 만든 데이터를 활용하여 제안된 알고리즘에 대해 구현된 예제를 제시한다.

The paper examines what types of journal articles had been published in the Journal of Research in Art Education from 2000 through 2014. This examination aims to determine demographic information and analysis on authors, paradigms, research methodology of the journal articles. This historical investigation will provide insight on how the editorial board can better serve its readers in the future. This paper analyzes 66 English journal articles using a matrix of two frameworks: paradigm/worldview and research methodology and demographic investigations of authors. The results indicate that a combination of postmodernism and narrative inquiry is the most common type of journal article and this may echo a research trend in the field of art education, i.e., an expectation and pressure to produce many journal articles is seen as succeeding in the field, and this combination of research might be accomplished relatively quicker than other mixtures. Another finding is that most of the journal articles were written by white male professors/theorists who teach art education courses for graduate students in North America. This paper finds that the journal editorial board use social network sites (SNS) as a means of advertisement for journal submissions so that there will be a more diverse range of authors with different standpoints in visual arts and pedagogy.

This study investigated potential relationship between fetal deaths and plasma progesterone concentrations of bitches. Serial ultrasonographic examinations were performed on small-pet 23 dogs from gestation day (GD) 15 through parturition. The dogs were 3 non-pregnant bitches, 9 spontaneous delivery bitches, 6 partial early embryonic death bitches, 2 whole early embryonic death bitches, and 3 aborted bitches. The late pregnancy (GD 51-54) appeared in 2 of the 3 aborted bitches and the hypoluteoidism appeared in 1 of the 3 aborted bitches. The plasma progesterone concentrations of partial early embryonic death bitches (n=6) showed no significant difference when compared with the spontaneous delivery bitches. We observed that plasma progesterone concentrations were dramatic decrease before the onset of embryonic death in whole early embryonic death bitches that plasma progesterone concentrations of aborted bitches at late pregnancy were significantly decreased when compared with those of spontaneous delivery bitches. The plasma progesterone concentrations of the hypoluteoidism bitch were lower than those of spontaneous delivery bitches. At the hypoluteoidism bitch, fetuses were resorbed in early pregnancy and aborted in late pregnancy. On the basis of the results, the diagnosis of partial early embryonic death could not be confirmed without ultrasonographic examination. The partial early embryonic death was considered a spontaneous phenomenon and uncorrelated with plasma progesterone concentration. However, aborted bitches and whole early embryonic death bitches were related to plasma progesterone concentrations and that of bitches gradually decreased before fetal death. These findings suggest that administration of progesterone may be a useful preventing agent against fetal death.

Through metaphor prompts and an interview with a novice art teacher, who graduated from a university art teacher preparation program in the Midwest United States, this study addresses the teacher’s metaphorical concepts about the roles of art teachers and definitions of meaningful art lessons. The study aims to show how metaphor analysis provides researchers with systematic interpretation of qualitative data, which leads to a conceptual understanding of a novice art teacher’s view of her teaching roles. Some research questions of particular interest are: How does a novice teacher address her roles and meaningful art lessons metaphorically? How are properties of the source domain/secondary subject/metaphor vehicle to be mapped onto the target domain/primary subject/topic? Is there any consistency or commonality between two sets of metaphor prompts about art teacher identity and meaningful art lessons and the interview transcription? The data sources in the study consist of an interview and two sets of metaphor. For data analysis, I employed metaphor analysis, an effective meaning-making tactic, to construct a good sense of connotations and denotations among the topic, the vehicle, and ground. Conceptual themes can be associated with both constructivism and student-centered perspectives. However, analysis of the interview transcription relates more to didacticism and teacher-centered perspectives.
