최고품질 쌀을 생산하기 위해서는 가장 기본이 토양관리부터 시작된다. 논토양을 관리하는 방법은 여러 가지가 있는데 여기에서는 심경과 심토파쇄, 유기물사용, 규산질비료의 필요성 등 미질향상을 위한 토양관리에 대해서 알아본다.

Purpose: To present postoperative refractive changes in patients with optic capturing. Methods: This retrospective review was comprised of 81 eyes of 69 presenile and senile cataract patients who had undergone cataract surgeries, and 20 eyes of 11 pediatric cataract patients who had undergone irrigation and aspiration of the cataract, posterior continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis (PCCC) and optic capturing. Presenile and senile cataract patients were divided into three groups: Group Ⅰ: Phacoemulsification with posterior chamber lens implantation (Phaco with PCL), 37 eyes; Group Ⅱ: Phaco with PCL and PCCC, 22 eyes; Group Ⅲ: Phaco with PCL, PCCC and optic capturing, 22 eyes. Preoperative target refractive error and postoperative refractive errors were compared postoperatively. Results: Hyperopic shiftings were noticed in Groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ, but were not statistically significanct. However, statistically significant hyperopic shifting was found in Group Ⅲ. In pediatric populations, we found no statistically significant refractive changes. Conclusions: PCCC alone does not cause refractive change postoperatively. When performing optic capturing, postoperative hyperopic shifting must be considered.
Insights into the Role of Follicular Helper T Cells in Autoimmunity

Follicular helper T (TFH) cells are recently highlighted as their crucial role for humoral immunity to infection as well as their abnormal control to induce autoimmune disease. During an infection, naïve T cells are differentiating into TFH cells which mediate memory B cells and long-lived plasma cells in germinal center (GC). TFH cells are characterized by their expression of master regulator, Bcl-6, and chemokine receptor, CXCR5, which are essential for the migration of T cells into the B cell follicle. Within the follicle, crosstalk occurs between B cells and TFH cells, leading to class switch recombination and affinity maturation. Various signaling molecules, including cytokines, surface molecules, and transcription factors are involved in TFH cell differentiation. IL-6 and IL-21 cytokine- mediated STAT signaling pathways, including STAT1 and STAT3, are crucial for inducing Bcl-6 expression and TFH cell differentiation. TFH cells express important surface molecules such as ICOS, PD-1, IL-21, BTLA, SAP and CD40L for mediating the interaction between T and B cells. Recently, two types of microRNA (miRNA) were found to be involved in the regulation of TFH cells. The miR-17-92 cluster induces Bcl-6 and TFH cell differentiation, whereas miR-10a negatively regulates Bcl-6 expression in T cells. In addition, follicular regulatory T (TFR) cells are studied as thymus-derived CXCR5+PD-1+Foxp3+ Treg cells that play a significant role in limiting the GC response. Regulation of TFH cell differentiation and the GC reaction via miRNA and TFR cells could be important regulatory mechanisms for maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Here, we review recent studies on the various factors that affect TFH cell differentiation, and the role of TFH cells in autoimmune diseases.

This study was carried out to investigate the best explant source and combination of media and growth regulators for the regeneration of multiple shoots in soybean (Glycine max. L. Merr.) cv. Iksannamulkong. Multiple shoots could well be directly induced from both cotyledonary node and hypocotyl explants. However, more shoot were regenerated from cotyledons nodes than from hypocotyl explants. Among 5 different media tested, MSB medium, MS salts combined with B5 vitamins, was most effective for obtaining more regenerated shoots and higher ratio of explants (cotyledonary node) that give rise to regenerated shoots. All the three cytokinins, BA (2.0mg/l), Zeatin riboside (0.05mg/l) and thiazuron (TDZ, 2.0mg/l) were effective for obtaining enough number of regenerated shoot from cotyledonary nodes when added to MSB medium. The most effective cytokinin was zeatin riboside with an average number of 15.5 regenerated shoot per cotyledonary node and shoot regeneration was observed from 75% cotyledonary nodes plated. Therefore, for efficient shoot regeneration of soybean in vitro, it is recommended to plate cotyledonary node on MSB medium supplemented with 0.05mg/l zeatin riboside.
폐 활성탄을 이용한 타일 제조 및 특성 평가에 관한 연구

The tiles were manufactured using a mixture of the TK material(a raw material in making tile) and Cu-Cr-Ag impregnated activated carbon(ASC Charcoal). The extraction character of heavy metals in making tile was evaluated and the manufacturing conditions of tile were studied. The heavy metals in the mixture-before and after the tile was production of tiles was successful and as a result of heavy metal analysis, the tile showed that the concentration of heavy metal after the production of tiles was lower than that of the before one. The concentration of eluted heavy metal by acidic and basic solutions was low and the quality of the produced tile was similar to the commercial one. The result of this study suggested that the waste ASC charcoal was used to produce good tiles and it also might reduce soil pollution.
