Laser laryngeal microsurgery is currently the primary method of treatment of various laryngeal diseases. The development of laryngeal microsurgery came from the introduction of a small spot $CO_2$ laser micromanipulator and more precise microlaryngeal instruments. $CO_2$ laser laryngeal microsurgery has enabled very precise surgery because it has small focus size and hemostatic effect. There are some limitations to the use of the $CO_2$ Laser such as adjacent tissue damage and vocal fold scarring. These problems can be minimized through understanding the mechanisms by which lasers function and correctly manipulating the parameters under a surgeon's control. We should also recognize the safety of $CO_2$ laser for the surgeon to precisely perform the procedure.

Although many factors associated with difficult intubation have been known, predictors of difficult mask ventilation are not well known. We experienced a case of nearly complete airway obstruction following usual anesthetic induction which needed various emergency treatments. The patient had a preoperative diagnosis of contact granuloma of right posterior vocal cord and bilateral vocal cord palsy but later was found out as invasive laryngeal cancer. Upon the surgical field of view, both vocal cords were showing significantly thickened and fixated appearance and was considered as in the critical narrowing state with the potential of complete obstruction. Using $C-MAC^{(R)}$ video laryngoscope we were able to see the narrowed vocal cord and choose proper size of endo-tracheal tube. Consequently, intubation was successfully done and operation was conducted. From this case, we have lessons that physicians should examine the patient's airway more carefully in case of laryngeal mass and prepare emergency measures.

Laryngeal framework surgery comprises medialization laryngoplasty and arytenoid adduction. Since their introduction in the 1970s, these procedures have become standard treatments for vocal fold paralysis and glottal incompetence. However, frequency of laryngeal framework surgery is conjectured to relatively decrease along with the introduction of injection laryngoplasty. In this manuscript, indications for laryngeal framework surgery were highlighted in contrast to those of injection laryngoplasty. The authors introduced the basic concepts and principles as well as surgical techniques of laryngeal framework surgery. Even though the incidence of major and/or minor complications after laryngeal framework surgery is not high, surgeons should be well aware of its possible complications and they should be familiar with tips and know-how to avoid or cope with complications.

This paper presents a Windows graphic developed by the authors for the education and training of power system Object-oriented programming is a major trend in computer software because it increases flexibility of large-scale software systems. An efficient platform for power system simulation applications has been proposed. This paper presents an intuitive Windows-based program for the power system analysis. The advantages of the object-oriented approach are demonstrated with an implementation of the graphical program. It provides a graphical interface for designing the one-line diagram of the bus and analyzing the output of the simulations. A graphical editor to visually edit the power system, diagram, results processing and exporting and graphic presentations.
무인 Quadrotor 시스템에 대한 Super-Twisting 적응 퍼지 Backstepping 제어

본 논문에서는 비선형 무인 quadrotor의 위치 및 자세제어를 위한 super-twisting 적응 퍼지 backstepping 제어 기법을 제안한다. 쿼드로터의 비선형 6자유도 커플링 동역학은 제어기의 설계를 용이하게 하기 위하여 두 개의 동역학 그룹으로 나뉜다. 그 다음 super-twisting 알고리즘은 퍼지 근사 및 적응 형 파라미터 튜닝 기술을 이용한 backstepping 제어의 재귀적 제어기 설계 단계에 결합된다. 폐루프 시스템의 안정성과 유한 시간 수렴은 리아푸노프 안정성 정리를 통해 입증된다. 전통적인 backstepping 제어기(BSC), 적응형 퍼지 추정이 없는 super-twisting backstepping 제어, dynamic surface 제어와 같은 다른 제어 시스템과의 비교 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 제어 방식의 효용성을 보여준다. This paper presents a fuzzy super-twisting adaptive fuzzy backstepping control scheme for the control of positon and posture of a nonlinear unmanned quadrotor vehicle. The nonlinear 6 DOF coupled dynamics of quadrotor are divided into two dynamic group to facilitate controller design. Next, the super-twisting algorithm is combined to the recursive controller design procedures of backstepping control with fuzzy approximation and adaptive parameter tuning techniques. The stability of the closed-loop system and finite-time convergence are proved via Lyapunov stability theorem. Comparative simulation results with other control systems such as the traditional backstepping controller (BSC). super-twisting backstepping control without adaptive fuzzy estimation, and dynamic surface control show the efficacy of the proposed control scheme.

We describe a case of laryngeal venous malformation in 43 year-old patient, discovered incidentally. Laryngeal venous malformation is a comparatively rare condition in adults. It presents as a dark bluish mass that may cause bleeding, hoarseness or stridor, but he complained only mild throat discomfort. We found dark-bluish tumor on the right arytenoid area, and treated the lesion by Ethanol sclerotherapy. All lesions disappeared after one month without any complication. Sclerotherapy with Ethanol can be an easy and effective treatment for laryngeal venous malformations, so we present the case with a review of the related literatures.

We describe a case of venous malformation of pyriform sinus in 63 year-old patient, discovered incidentally. Venous malformation are the most common vascular malformations to arise in the head and neck. However venous malformation of the hypopharynx in the adult papulation are rare. The author performed successfully ethanol sclerotherapy for venous malformation of pyriform sinus, so we present the case with a review of the related literatures.

This paper proposes a new autonomous navigation method for two-wheeled mobile robots in an unknown environment using LiDAR sensors. Recently, a deep Q-network (DQN), which is a combination of deep learning and Q-learning theory, has attracted attention as a reinforcement learning algorithm. It is used to train the robot to recognize obstacles and avoid collisions while it is moving toward a designated destination. However, the existing DQN method can handle only discrete tasks and low-dimensional spaces, meaning it is not suitable for continuous, especially the control of mobile robots. In addition, the existing LiDAR sensor method uses distance as the input for learning, with the system determining the next action based only on the distance from the mobile robot to the obstacle. In this process, due to the frequent fluctuation in the action values, unnatural acceleration/deceleration actions are required, which leads to physical shocks to the robot and low driving power efficiency. In this paper, this problem is solved by applying a replay buffer to store the output of the network. That is, the action values are stored in the memory and fed back as input again following the action order of the network. Experiments are carried out on an actual robot after reinforcement learning in ROS-GAZEBO simulations and the validity of the algorithm is verified through an analysis of the experimental data.
