A new system for three dimensional object recognition is proposed in an attempt to overcome the lack of accuracy and flexibility, the essential problem at which model-based recognition technique faces. Hierarchical data base was designed to manage a number of features efficiently which are extracted for the purpose of matching by the system and to provide information necessary to match systema6tically. The results of matching, in turn, is fed back to the data base, and stored in. The recognition is done by saving the results on higher level of hierachical data base. 모델 근거 인식법의 근본적인 과제인 정확성과 융통성의 결여를 해결하기 위하여 데이터 베이스를 이용한 새로운 물체인식 시스템을 본 논문에서 제안하였다. 먼저 정합에 사용될 여러 특징들을 추출하게 되는데, 이 특징들을 효율적으로 관리하고 정합에 필요한 정보를 체계적으로 제공하는 계층 데이터 베이스가 설계되었다. 정합의 결과는 다시 데이터 베이스로 되돌려져 저장된다. 계층데이터 베이스는 처리내용 뿐만 아니라 정합 결과까지도 저장하므로, 인식이란 데이터 베이스의 공간을 채우는 것이라 할 수 있다. 다면체의 각목 세계를 대상으로 실험한 결과, 인식의 오차는 없었으나 처리시간이 긴 단점이 있었다.

정부의 입장에서 R&D 과제간의 유사도를 분석하는 것은 불필요한 예산의 낭비를 없애고, R&D 투자의 효과를 높이는데 있어서 매우 중요한 문제이다. 그 동안, 문서의 내용을 대표하는 키워드를 중심으로 두 문서간의 유사도를 분석하거나, 문장 단위로 유사도를 분석함으로써, R&D 과제의 중복 여부를 판단하기 위한 연구들이 시도되어 왔으나, 여러 가지 이유로 아직까지 그 정확도는 매우 낮은 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구는 기 수행된 R&D 관련 특허를 조사, 수집하는 정부 R&D 특허기술동향조사사업의 특허분석 DB를 활용하여 R&D 과제간의 유사도를 분석할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 집합 이론 및 확률 이론을 기반으로 한 유사도 측정 모델을 제시하였다. 또한, 제시한 모델의 검증을 위해 156개 과제, 160,218개의 유효특허를 기반으로 유효특허기반 과제 유사도 측정 실험을 수행하고, 그 사례를 제시하였다. For efficient investments of government budgets, It is important to analyze the similarities of R&D projects. So, existing studies have proposed a techniques for analyzing similarities using keywords or segments. However, the techniques have low accuracy. We propose a technique for similarities of projects using patent information. To achieve our goal, we suggest three metrics that are based some mathematic theories; set theory and probability theory. In order to validate our technique, we perform case studies that have 156 R&D projects and 160,218 patent informations.
Galactose epimerase결손 Salmonella pullorum 변이주의 효소활성

Uridine diphosphate(UDP)-galactose-4-epimerase-less mutants of Salmonella pullorum were isolated after mutagenic treatment with ethidium bromide. When isolated gal E mutants of S. pullorum A2 and D1 were grown in the presence of galactose(0.1 W/V), they exhibited marked bacteriolysis in heart infusion broth. The mutant strains were further investigated the characteristics of enzymatic activities in the Leoloir galactose pathway. Isolated A2 and D1 strains were completely deficient in UDP-galactose-4-epimerase activity. And the activity of other enzymes involved in galactose metabolism were reduced significantly.
실험적으로 감염시킨 토끼에서 Borrelia burgdorferi 분포 및 면역반응 양상

The visceral dissemination of Borrelia burgdorferi in New Zealand White rabbits was evaluated following intradermal inoculation of $1{\times}10^8$ spirochetes. We inoculated Borrelia burgdorferi B31, B garinii KW1 and B afzehlii S13, respectively, and monitored the dissemination in the experimentally infected rabbits for 28 days. In the B burgdorferi B31-challenged group, the spirochetes were completely cleared in rabbits at day 1 and visceral dissemination was not demonstrated. However, B garinii KW1 and B afzelii S13 were found to successfully disseminate in visceral organs of rabbits during the experiment period of 28 days. And experimentally infection-derived immunological responses in rabbits were identified with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and immunoblot analysis. Based on these results, the differences in the virulence of Lyme borrelial strains were proved in rabbit model.

The morphological hetergeneity of lipopolysaccharides(LPSs) and variation in the O-side chain lengths of LPSs of Salmonella pullorum, which was serially subcultured on the brain heart infusion agar containing $100{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ of acridine orange, was analyzed in Sephadex G-50 column chromatography and silver-stained polyacrylamide gels. The biochemical differences in LPS W and LPS A0150 were identified. Increases in the contents of O-polysaccharides of LPS A0150 than those of LPS W were reflected in the profiles of chromatography and silver-stained polyacrylamide gels. In summary, LPS molecules of S pullorum A0150 appeared to be enriched in the molecules with long O-polysaccharide chains than those of LPS W.
Acridine Orange에 의한 Salmonella pullorum의 세포벽 변화

Salmonella pullorum strain W was serially passaged on the brain heart infusion agar containing acrdine orange(AO) as a concentration of 100 mcg/ml. S. pullorum AO60 and S. pullorum AO150, which were subcultured 60 and 150 passages on AO media, were examined for permeability barrier function of the cell wall. AO60 and AO150 were appeared to be decreased in susceptibility against hydrophobic substances such as crystal violet, chloramphenicol and rifamycin, which might be resulted from the changes of permeability barrier function of the cell wall. In sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of bacterial protein, the protein profiles of AO6O and AO150 didn't differ significantly from W, but increased amount of the band of MW 140,000-145,000 was confirmed. And [G+C] contents of DNA in AO60 and A0150 were decreased than that of W.

The experienced surgeon can be surprised & challenged by the hazards of active bleeding during oral & maxillofacial surgical procedure, because of alterations in the surgical anatomy, bleeding disorders and surgical intervention of infected tissues. This is a report of two cases of active bleeding during surgical extraction of mandibular third molar, that had the pericoronitis, osteitis and adjacent neurovascular bundle in its apex. When the abrupt active bleeding was occurred during surgical extraction of mandibular third molar, pressure packing by hemostatie agent(bone wax) & wet gauze biting were applied into the extraction socket during 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the wound was explored about the bleeding and active bleeding was then continued. In spite of repeated bleeding control method of the pressure dressing, the marked hemorrhage was generated continuously. Therefore, the author decised the bleeding as immediately uncontrollable hemorrhage and the pressure dressing was again applied for the more longer duration without wound closure. After 3 days, the pressure dressing was removed and iodoform gauze drainge was then established without the bleeding. The drain was changed as the interval of 3~5 days for prevention of infection & secondary hemorrhage and relatively good wound healing was then resulted in 6 weeks.
영상인식 기반의 위치기반서비스를 위한 실내위치인식 시스템

본 논문은 영상인식 기반의 위치기반서비스를 위한 실내위치인식 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 실내 환경에 적용 가능한 비젼 기반의 위치 인식 시스템으로 위치 인식 결과를 사용자의 시야에 자연스럽게 중첩함으로써 증강 현실을 구현한다. 제안한 방법은 기존의 위치인식 방법과 달리 부가적 인 위치 인식 하드웨어 사용없이 컴퓨터 비젼 기술을 이용한 위치 인식 방법이다. 이를 위해 사용자에 의해 착용된 모바일 PC와 함께 카메라를 통해 영상을 입력하고, 입력된 영상에서 패턴매칭과 위치모델을 참조하여 사용자의 위치를 판별한다. 제안한 시스템은 이미지 시퀀스 매칭 방법과 마크 검출을 통해 위치를 추정하고, 사전에 정의한 위치모델을 사용함으로써 최종 위치를 인식한다. 제안한 시스템은 마크 검출을 위해 적응적 암계치 방법을 제안하고, 위치 판별을 위해 위치모델을 사용함으로써 보다 정확하고 효율적인 위치 인식 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 실내 환경의 위치 인식을 위해 제안한 시스템을 적용한 결과, 실내 환경에 대해 익숙지 않은 사용자들에게 효과적으로 위치인식 서비스에 적용할 수 있다. This paper proposes an indoor location positioning system for the image recognition based LBS. The proposed system is a vision-based location positioning system that is implemented the augmented reality by overlaying the location results with the view of the user. For implementing, the proposed system uses the pattern matching and location model to recognize user location from images taken by a wearable mobile PC with camera. In the proposed system, the system uses the pattern matching and location model for recognizing a personal location in image sequences. The system is estimated user location by the image sequence matching and marker detection methods, and is recognized user location by using the pre-defined location model. To detect marker in image sequences, the proposed system apply to the adaptive thresholding method, and by using the location model to recognize a location, the system can be obtained more accurate and efficient results. Experimental results show that the proposed system has both quality and performance to be used as an indoor location-based services(LBS) for visitors in various environments.

After passing through both agricultural and industrial phase, today society, due to technological revolution is becoming highly information oriented. This has resulted in the need for greater amounts of information in all fields of society. In step with this trend, office automation, home automation and factory automation are being promoted extensively. In turn these tendencies have been the main cause of grand scale disasters and the problem of ensuring safety in buildings has manifested itself as a problem for the whole society. However at present in most buildings the fire-fighting facilities and supervisory equipments are usually set-up separately, trailing greatly in areas of safety and efficency. Although there are numerous methods for improving security in office buildings, this study will focus on Intelligent Building and ultimately try to reach the goal of ensuring safety in buildings through interconnecting security systems with intellectualization of buildings. Untill now security systems were usually set-up and operated apart from the central supervision and control department which oversees and regulates the electricity, air conditioning, sanitary facilities and so on. But in Intelligent Buildings central supervisory, control system is introduced in which fire-fighting, crime prevention facilities, electricity, air conditioning, comunications devices and so on are all inter-connected organically, and thus each facility is comprehensively intergrated and interlocked. From the above viewpoint, planning of a system best suited to the requirements which have taken into consideration future usage and expansion on the basis of extensive professional knowledge and experience, must be the preconditions for the fulfillment of Intelligent Building with its highrate safety capabilities.
