[18F]Fluorobenzaldehyde, which is a versatile radioactive prosthetic group, can undergo reduction, reductive amination, or oxidation to be used for synthesis of diverse radiotracers. This review covers synthesis of [18F]fluorobenzaldehyde and its conversion to secondary prosthetic groups, and also highlights its application to the development of radiotracers. R452B 냉매 적용 물대물 지열원 히트펌프 유닛의 냉난방 운전 성능 특성

Refrigerant having high global warming potentials will be phased out due to environmental protection issues. R410A has been widely used in geothermal heat pump. However, it has a little high GWP by 2088 value. One of the recommended substitute for R410A refrigerant is R452B which having a GWP by 698 value. In this paper, the heating and cooling performance of the water-to-water geothermal heat pump unit with R452B was experimentally investigated. The performance of the heat pump adopting R452B was also compared with the system applying R410A. The heating and cooling capacity of R452B heat pump system showed a slightly lower values within 2% comparing with R410A system. However, the R452B system’s coefficient of performance was enhanced by 5.2% and 13.7% at heating and cooling mode, respectively.
냉동유닛용 증발기의 공기측 열전달 및 압력강하에 대한 실험 연구

In this study, the air-side cooling capacity and pressure drop of an evaporator for a refrigerator unit were experimentally investigated. Using the calorimeter, the performance of the evaporator was verified by changing the fin shape, fin pitch, tube row and air flow rate. The experimental apparatus consisted of the calorimeter which functioned as a constant temperature and humidity chamber and the refrigeration cycle. In order to select the heat exchanger suitable for the evaporator, both air-side cooling capacity and pressure drop should be considered at the same time. From the evaporator performance test by pin type, wavy pin was selected. The optimal performance of the evaporator was observed at the fin pitch of 5 mm, the tube row of 6 row, and the air flow rate of 40㎥/min.
Molar activity of radiopharmaceuticals

Radiopharmaceuticals are used for diagnosis or therapy of diseases. According to the recent consensus nomenclature rules for radiopharmaceutical chemistry, specific activity is defined as the radioactivity per gram of radiolabeled compound and molar activity as the radioactivity per mole of radiolabeled compound. In this review, molar activity of radiopharmaceuticals is discussed in terms of its significance in nuclear imaging as well as its measurement methods.
10kW급 냉동유닛용 응축기의 성능특성에 대한 최적화 연구

In this study, the cooling capacity and the pressure drop of a condenser for 10kW refrigerator unit were experimentally investigated. The performance characteristics of the condenser was studied by changing the fin shape(4 types), fin pitch(5 types), tube row(4 types) and air flow rate(6 types), using the calorimeter. The optimum heat exchanger specifications were selected by comparing the capacity and the pressure drop of the condenser. In order to select the heat exchanger suitable for the condenser for 10kW refrigerator unit, both the cooling capacity and the pressure drop should be considered. From the condenser performance test by pin type, the wavy pin was selected. The optimal performance of the condenser for 10kW refrigerator unit was observed at the fin pitch of 3 mm, the tube row of 4 row, and the air flow rate of 90㎥/min.

There is considerable interest in 188Re due to its favorable properties as a therapeutic radionuclide. 188Re and 99mTc act as a matched pair because of their similar chemical properties, and therefore methods of labeling with 99mTc can be applied to the labeling with 188Re. With appropriately chosen agents as carriers of 188Re, the labeling can be readily carried out using 188ReO4- in the presence of a reducing agent. 188Re radio pharmaceuticals based on 99mTc complexes have been synthesized and are currently being studied for clinical use. Some of them are shown to be suitable for therapeutic use and promising for radiotherapy in nuclear medicine.

Molecular imaging visualizes cellular processes at a molecular or genetic level in living subjects, and diverse molecular probes are used for this purpose. Radiolabeling methods as well as radioisotopes are very important in preparation of molecular probes, because they can affect the biodistribution in tissues and the excretion route. In this review, the molecular probes are divided into small organic molecules and macromolecules such as peptides and proteins, and their commonly used radiolabeling methods are described.
