        Generally, angle pieces at the corners of cargo tank of membrane type LNG carrier ship are manually welded, due to their various shapes and positions. In this study, a GTA welding robot system was developed in order to improve productivity, which consists of a 7-axis manipulator, a system controller, a GTA welding power source, and peripheral devices. The welding system is characterized by capabilities of welding corrugated work pieces as well as 90/135 degree linear work pieces, and controlling the entire weld cycle automatically. The developed system was field tested on actual work pieces and its performance was proven to be successful.

        클라우드 환경의 교통정보 서비스를 위한 조건부 확률 추론을 이용한 가상 머신 프로비저닝 스케줄링

        전 세계적으로 자동차의 수요와 교통정보 서비스의 활용도가 높아지고 있다. 따라서 교통정보 서비스의 종류와 데이터의 양의 증가로 인해 많은 IT 자원 인프라가 필요하다. 인프라의 감소를 위해 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 주목을 받고 있으며, 자원관리를 위해 프로비저닝 스케줄링 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 클라우드 환경에서 교통정보 서비스를 위한 조건부 확률 추론을 활용한 프로비저닝 스케줄링(PSCPI: Provisioning Scheduling with Conditional Probability Inference)을 제안한다. PSCPI는 가상머신의 상태에 따라 나이브 베이즈 추론 기법을 사용하여 가상머신의 가용율에 따라 작업 할당을 할 수 있다. 나이브 베이즈 기반의 조건부 확률 추론 프로비저닝 스케줄링을 활용하여 교통정보 서비스에 높은 처리율과 활용율을 보인다. There is a growing tendency toward a vehicle demand and a utilization of traffic information systems. Due to various kinds of traffic information systems and increasing of communication data, the traffic information service requires a very high IT infrastructure. A cloud computing environment is an essential approach for reducing a IT infrastructure cost. And the traffic information service needs a provisioning scheduling method for managing a resource. So we propose a provisioning scheduling with conditional probability inference (PSCPI) for the traffic information service on cloud environment. PSCPI uses a naive bayse inference technique based on a status of a virtual machine. And PSCPI allocates a job to the virtual machines on the basis of an availability of each virtual machine. Naive bayse based PSCPI provides a high throughput and an high availability of virtual machines for real-time traffic information services.

        The type, the length, and the install space of the grate inlets in main street were designed with the consideration of discharge calculated with street surface rainfall. However, the discharge that was not intercepted at transverse grate inlets in steep local roads increases inundation areas around main street Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the flow characteristics and interception capacity at transverse grate inlets in steep local roads. Hydraulic experimental apparatus which can be changed the longitudinal slopes(<TEX>$2{\sim}10%$</TEX>) of street, the size (<TEX>$20{\sim}50cm$</TEX>) and the types(TYPE I, II) of grate inlet was installed for this study. The range of the experimental discharges were from <TEX>$2{\ell}/sec$</TEX> to <TEX>$24{\ell}/sec$</TEX>. The interception discharges of transverse grate inlets per unit width changing the longitudinal slope of steep local road were calculated by the hydraulic experimental results. The design method of transverse grate inlets was developed by the interception discharges per unit width. This design method was applied to decide the space and size of transverse grate inlets.

        Study on Lond Transfer Characteristics of Sand Compaction Piles in Soft Soil Deposits

        모래다짐말뚝은 압밀침하촉진과 지지력향상을 도모할 수 있는 연약지반 개량공법으로 그 사용성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실내시험과 3-D 유한요소해석을 수행하여 $30-40\%$의 저치환율 모래다짐말뚝의 하중전이특성을 고찰해본다. 또한, 이러한 연구결과는 실험치와의 검증을 통하여 모래다짐말뚝 하중전이특성평가를 위한 간편법을 제시하는데 사용되었다. Sand Compaction Pile (SCP) is a soft-ground improvement technique used for not only accelerating consolidation but also increasing bearing capacity of soils. In this study, laboratory tests and 3-D finite element analysis were peformed to investigate the characteristics of load transfer in SCP with an emphasis on free-strain behavior of piles with low replacement ratios in the range of 30 to $50\%$. Through these focused tests and numerical analyses, we proposed a simplified method to analyze the load transfer characteristics of SCP in soft ground. Moreover, it was shown that estimated normal stresses in SCP using the proposed method were in a reasonable agreement with actual values.

        DMT 방식의 xDSL 모뎀을 위한 시간영역 등화 알고리듬

        본 논문에서는 DMT(discrete multitone)방식의 $\chi$DSL(digital subscriber line)시스템에 사용되는 시간영역 등화기 설계를 위한 새로운 알고리듬을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리듬은 DMT 시스템의 등화기 설계기 사용되는 ARMA(autoregressive moving average) 모델에서 DMT시스템의 성능에 영향을 주지 않는 항을 삭제 시킴으로써 최소의 계산량을 갖는다. 제안된 방식은 matrix inverse 방식, fast algorithm방식, iterative 방식, inverse power 방식과 같은 기존의 시간영역 등화 알고리듬들과 비교할 때 매우 적은 계산량을 사용하나, 성능면에서는 기존의 방식과 비슷하거나 우수한 결과를 보인다. 또한 제안된 방식에서는 수신된 신호만 사용하므로 채널의 임펄스 응답을 추정하거나 훈련신호를 사용할 필요가 없다는 장점이 있다. 또한 bridged tap 유무에 대한 정보를 이용하였다. 즉, bridged tap이 포함되지 않는 채널의 경우 시간영역 등화기 계수의 개수를 반으로 줄일 수 있음을 보인다. ADSL(asymmertrical digital subscriber line)서비스 환경에서 제안된 시간영역 등화기 알고리듬과 기존 시간영역 등화기 알고리듬의 성능을 비교한다. In this paper, a new algorithm to design a time-domain equalizer (TEQ) for an xDSL system employing the discrete multitone (DMT) modulation is proposed. The proposed algorithm, derived by neglecting the terms whichdo not affect the performance of a DMT system in ARMA modeling, is shown to have similar performance tothe previous TEQ algorithms such as matrix inverse algorithm, fast algorithm, iterative algorithm, and inversepower method, even with the significantly lower computational complexity. In addition, since the proposedalgorithm requires only the received signal, the information on the channel impulse response or training sequenceis not needed. It is also shown that for the case where bridged tap is not included, the number of TEQ tapsrequired can be reduced to half(from 16 to 8) without affecting the overall performance. The performances of theproposed and previous TEQ algorithms are compared by applying them to ADSL environment.

        농촌주민(農村住民)의 상병(傷病)에 관(關)한 조사연구(調査硏究)

        A study on the sickness distribution and mode of treatment in rural area was conducted during the period from July '75 to Aug. '75 using 1,225 households, 7,918 population (4,017 male, 3,901female) and 343 cases th at found during the period of survey who had beenlived in Nammyon, Hwasoongun, Chonnam. The summarized results were as follows : 1. Average family number per household was 6.5 and prevalence rate was 43.3 (21.2 for male, 22.1 for female). 2. General sickness distribution by classification of disease according to W.H.O. was highest in disease of the nervous system and sense organs (21.3%), and important others were disease of the digestive system (16.9%) and disease of the respiratory system(14.8%). In male, distribution was in order of downward disease of digestive system, disease of nervous system and sense organs, disease of skin, cellular tissue, bones and organs of movement, and disease of respiratory system. In female, distribution was in order of downward disease of nervou s system and sense organs, disease of respiratory system, disease of digestive system, and disease of skin, cellular tssue, bones and organs of movement. 5. Types of treatment in both sexes were showed that home and folkmedicine (41.1%), pharmacy(24.5%), admission to hospital or clinic (16.9%), out-patient clinic (10.8%) and herbmedicine (6.7%) in downward order. Hospital and clinic utility rate was 27.5% (31.5 for male, 24.0 for female) and it was highest in 0-4 age groups and lowest in 40-49 year age groups. 4. Hospital and clinic utility rate was highest in neoplasms, and the other hands, disease of the nervous system and sense organs and disease of the digestive system were the highest groups in the all types of treatment other than hospital and clinic. 5. On the results of treatment not, exactly replied answer was the highest (41.7%) and only 16.0% said complete recovery. In completely recovered cases, hospital and clinic using group was predominant (58.2%) and in aggravated cases, home and folkmedicine using group was highest.
