Thermal behavior of $Li_{1-x}CoO_2$ has been investigated employing DSC (Differential Scanning calorimetry) and TGA (Thermogravimetry Analyzer), and the crystal parameters were calculated from XRD (X-ray diffraction).for the commercial rectangular pouch cell(1000 mAh).The cathode materials coated over aluminium foil current collector is made up of a blend consisting of active material $LiCoO_2$(size $20\;{\mu}m$, 94 wt%), conducting material super p black (SPB, 3 wt%) and binder polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF, 3 wt%). The anode is a mix consisting of carbon (92 wt%) and PVDF(8 wt%) coated over copper foil. The cells for the experiments were first preconditioned by cycling three times and stabilized at OCV=3.0, 3.5, 4.2, 4.35 and 4.5 V. The stabilized cathode material was used for thermal and crystal parameter investigations.

본 논문에서는 미래의 수중 교전 시뮬레이션에서 공통적으로 사용될 수 있도록 재사용성 및 상호운용성과 공학 시뮬레이션 등 앞으로의 확장성을 고려하여 수중 교전에 사용되는 잠수함 체계에 대한 표준모델을 어떠한 개념에서 어떠한 형태로 정립할 것인가에 대해 기술하였다. 본 연구를 통해 교전 수준 잠수함 체계 표준모델에 대한 모델아키텍쳐를 정립하고 개별 구성요소에 대한 모델링 방안을 개발하였으며 모델의 입출력 자료 및 정보 흐름도를 도출하였다. 본 연구에서는 비음향 탐지 모델 및 비음향 스텔스 모델 등 수중 교전에 해당하지 않는 분야는 제외하였으므로 향후 이에 대한 추가 연구가 필요하다. This paper describes and explains that the engagement level model of submarine can be used in underwater engagement simulation taking reuse, interoperability, and extension to the engineering leveled simulation into consideration. WBS(Work Break-down Structure), internal data interface, and I/O data about the engagement level model of submarine are developed. It describes the modeling method of components of submarine model as well. In this paper, the non-acoustic detection and stealth models are excluded because those models are not related to the underwater engagement, so the excluded models need to be developed in the future.
유기용매 전해조를 이용한 리튬이차박막전지용 Sn 음극의 제조

박막 리튬이차전지의 고용량 음극을 개발하기 위하여, Sn(II) 아세테이트를 포함한 유기전해조 도금법을 이용하여 Sn 박막전극을 제조하였다. $Li^+$와 $Sn^{2+}$를 포함한 전해조에 대한 순환전위전류시험 결과 3종류의 환원 반응이 나타났으며, $2.0{\sim}2.5\;V$ 영역이 Ni 집전체 표면에 대한 Sn의 석출 반응에 해당한다. 수계전해액에 대한 $Sn^{2+}$의 표준환원전위는 2.91 V vs. $Li^+/Li^{\circ}$ 인데 반해 유기전해조에서는 보다 낮은 전위에서 환원반응이 일어났다. 이는 유기전해질의 고저항과 $Sn^{2+}$의 낮은 농도에 기인한 과전위의 결과로 생각된다. 제조한 전극의 물리적 특성 및 전기화학적 특성을 연구하였다. 석출한 Sn 전극을 $150^{\circ}C$로 열처리하여 보다 높은 결정성을 얻을 수 있었고, 이를 Sn/Li 전지로 구성하여 전기화학적 실험을 한 결과 0.25 V와 0.75 V에서 각각 합금화-탈합금화 과정을 확인 할 수 있었다. 제조한 전극의 두께를 전기량을 통하여 계산한 바 $7.35{\mu}m$였으며, 가역용량은 $400{\mu}Ah/cm^2$을 얻었다. Sn-thin film as high capacitive anode for thin film lithium-ion battery was prepared by organic-electrolyte electroplating using Sn(II) acetate. Electrolytic solution including $Li^+$ and $Sn^{2+}$ had 3 reduction peaks at cyclic voltammogram. Current peak at $2.0{\sim}2.5\;V$ region correspond to the electroplating of Sn on Ni substrate. This potential value is lower than 2.91 V vs. $Li^+/Li^{\circ}$, of the standard reduction potential of $Sn^{2+}$ under aqueous media. It is the result of high overpotential caused by high resistive organic electrolytic solution and low $Sn^{2+}$ concentration. Physical and electrochemical properties were evaluated using by XRD, FE-SEM, cyclic voltammogram and galvanostatic charge-discharge test. Crystallinity of electroplated Sn-anode on a Ni substrate could be increased through heat treatment at $150^{\circ}C$ for 2 h. Cyclic voltammogram shows reversible electrochemical reaction of reduction(alloying) and oxidation(de-alloying) at 0.25 V and 0.75 V, respectively. Thickness of Sn-thin film, which was calculated based on electrochemical capacity, was $7.35{\mu}m$. And reversible capacity of this cell was $400{\mu}Ah/cm^2$.

Magnetic fluid is ferromagnetic material in liquid state, so the surface configuration of magnetic fluid affects the magnetic field, and vice versa. To analyze the devices with magnetic fluid, the magnetic field equations and hydrodynamic equation should be solved simultaneously. This paper presents the numerical algorithm to obtain the surface configuration of fluid under the influence of gravity, pressure and magnetic field without conventional simplified assumption[1-6]. The algorithm consists of nonlinear finite element method and ferro-hydrodynamics, such as Poisson equations and Bernoulli equations, respectively. The simulated configurations of fluid are compared with experimental results, and the influence of the amount of fluid and pole piece shape on the seal capacities are analyzed.

손해보험의 언더라이팅 행태는 과거 경험통계기간의 손해실적에 따라 산출되고 추후 확정되는 보험가격의 특성으로 인하여 경쟁적 시장 환경하에서 주기적으로 변화하는 것으로 알려졌다. 국내손보산업의 가격경쟁정책은‘90년대에 들어 경쟁을 촉진하는 방향으로 추진되고 있다. 이와 같은 측면에서 본 연구에서는 국내 손해보험시장의 종목별 언더라이팅주기를 측정하여 보았다. 1970년부터 1989년까지의 원수경과손해 율을 기초로 측정해 본 결과 선박, 적하, 상해, 종합보험에서 측정은 되나 통계적으로 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 1990년부터 1999년까지를 기준으로 추정하여 본 결과 보증, 장기를 제외한 일반손해보험전체, 화재보험, 자동차보험, 배상책임보험, 기술보험에서 주기가 측정되나 역시 통계적 신뢰도는 낮은 편이다. 그러나 많은 환경변화가 있었던‘90년 이후의 실적으로 측정한 경우 많은 종목에서 주기적 현상이 나타나고 있다는 점은 시사하는 바가 크다. 따라서 2002년 회사별 요율체제가 도입되면 종목별 언더라이팅의 주기적 현상이 더욱 크게 나타날 것으로 판단되기 때문에 보험회사들은 종목별 주기적 현상을 인지하여 적정한 가격결정 및 인수전략을 구사하여야 할 것이다. Many studies found that the patterns of underwriting characterized by insurance pricing and loss records had their own cycles. As the ratemaking is deregulated the importance of underwriting is increased. Actually the ratemaking in Korea insurance industry is going to be fully liberalized from the April of 2002 yr. In this context, this study has examined the underwriting cycle of various line of Korean property and casualty industry. The test was based the earned based loss ratio data for thirty years (1970~1999). Hull, cargo, accident and multi-peril package insurance, which were examined using data for 1970~1989, shows weak statistical significance of underwriting cycle. In the whole property and casualty (except long term and surety), fire, auto, general liability and engineering line which were based on 1990~1999 data, there also has been weak statistical evidence of underwriting cycle. These results, however, shows the existence of underwriting cycle, which also implies that it should be the primary factor in insurance pricing.

This study is performed to assess the predictive quality of the 3-dimensional combustion analysis on a large diesel engine, 7K98MC. The fuel injection system and scavenging flow analysis are also performed to get the fuel injection rate and the swirl ratio of fresh air induced in cylinder, which are important data to get reliable results of the combustion analysis.<br/> Fuel injection simulation results are verified with experimental data of fuel injection pump and valve pressure. Combustion analysis results are also verified with experimental data of heat release ~ate and cylinder peak pressure in error 5% and 1bar respectively. Therefore it is concluded that the fuel injection and combustion simulation models are well constructed. Combustion analysis results show that the injected fuel droplets of the 7K98MC engine are relatively well distributed in the combustion chamber.<br/>

This study is performed to assess the predictive quality of the performance simulation on a large diesel engine, 7K98MC. The fuel injection system and exhaust valve driving system analysis are also performed to get the fuel injection rate and the exhaust valve lift which are important for reliable result of the performance simulation. All simulation results are compared with measured data to confirm the modeling methods and these results.<br/> The performance simulation is performed with varying exhaust valve open time, compression shim and fuel injection time to investigate the effects of these operating conditions on the 7K98MC engine performance. Finally, the optimum operating conditions are selected in respect of fuel oil consumption and NOx emission.<br/>
