養畜農家의 災禍 防止 및 病蟲害防止를 위해 使用한 符籍調査

This study aims to obtain data on the amulets used to avert evils in Korean farms from Jan. 1966 to Dec. 1997. The shapes of cow, horse, swine, sheep, rabbit, rat, dragon, tiger and snack etc. were admired as spiritual images. And tooth of tiger, beak of eagle, claw, leather, blood and bone of predatory animals were regarded as materials for self defense. 16 sorts of amulets were used to avert various evils by Korean farmers. 81 sorts of amulets were used in Korean farms, and were classified according to their use. For example, there were 12 sorts for blessing, 5 sorts for good harvest, 4 sorts for prevention of disease which can be caused by food in the house of a mourning family or of a sick person, 15 sorts for preventing accidents, 4 sorts for good weather for farming, 4 sorts for preventing the personal accidents, 7 sorts for preventing damages, 6 sorts for remedy of disease, 8 sorts for antitheft purpose, 3 sorts for preventing infectious diseases, 1 sort for preventing abortion, 3 sorts for health and prosperity of livestock. Amulets for protecting livestock from wild animal 7 sorts, eradicating noxious insects 4 sorts and rat 3 sorts were surveyed, respectively, and there were even amulets for preventing farm machine breakdown and agricultural chemical poisoning. Amulets for individual purposes were personally managed, and those for social purposes were posted on door, barn, building, fencey in order to produce psychological effects and emphasize the necessity of social recognition. And Korean farmers believe in psychological effects of amulet. 97 sorts of amulets in total were surveyed in this study. Such a collection of folklore data may be of no little significance

The conductivity of ZnO is lowrered by the incorporation of monovalent Li, in Contrast to the effect of substitutional addition of trivalent in. In the ZnO Single Crystal, Li first becomes a dono r by taking up interstitial positions in ZnO lattice and the donor energy band gap is 0.013 eV, second becomes an acceptor energy band gap is 2.6 eV. The mobility up to 80°k is evaluated thats maximum 80㎠/volt.sec and the mechanism of the decrease in the mobility is attributed to ionized impurity atom scattering, while the one in high temperature is caused by the lattice phonon mode.
