Effect of Annealing on a-Si:H Thin Films Fabricated by RF Magnetron Sputtering

The effect of annealing under argon atmosphere on hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) thin films deposited at room temperature and $300^{\circ}C$ using Radio Frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering has been investigated. For the films deposited at room temperature, there was not any increase in hydrogen content and optical band gap of the films, and as a result, quality of the films was not improved under any annealing conditions. For the films deposited at $300^{\circ}C$, on the other hand, significant increases in hydrogen content and optical band gap were observed, whereas values of microstructure parameter and dark conductivity were decreased upon annealing below $300^{\circ}C$. In this study, it was proposed that the Si-HX bonding strength is closely related to deposition temperature. Also, the improvement in optical, electrical and structural properties of the films deposited at $300^{\circ}C$ was originated from thermally activated hydrogen bubbles, which were initially trapped at microvoids in the films.

In this study, indoor air quality indices (IAQI-C and IAQI-E) were developed for child care centers and elderly care centers based on health effects, and compared to the air quality index (CAI) for outdoor atmosphere. In addition, composite indices that integrate individual indices for each pollutant were developed to quickly and conveniently recognize the current air quality. Among all data, 71.2% and 35.6% belonged to the grades 'Good' and 'Moderate' for child care centers and elderly care centers, respectively. This assessment is more stringent than the CAI's criteria.

In this paper, optimal control of the fuel cell and design of a high-efficiency power converter is implemented to build a high-priced fuel cell system with minimum capacity. Conventional power converter devices use a non-isolated boost converter for high efficiency while the battery is charged, and reduce its conduction loss by using MOSFETs instead of diodes. However, the efficiency of the boost converter decreases, since overshoot occurs because there is a moment when the body diode of the MOSFET is conducted during the dead time and huge loss occurs when the dead time for the maximum-power-flowing state is used in the low-power-flowing state. The method proposed in this paper is to adjust the dead time of boost and rectifier switches by predicting the power flow to meet the maximum efficiency in every load condition. After analyzing parasite components, the stability and efficiency of the high-efficiency boost converter is improved by predictive compensation of the delay component of each part, and it is proven by simulation and experience. The variation in switching delay times of each switch of the full-bridge converter is compensated by falling time compensation, a control method of PWM, and it is also proven by simulation and experience.
20-30대 남성의 화장품 소비 변화에 끼친 영향과 남성화장품 시장의 변화에 관한 고찰

본 연구에서는 최근 국내 급성장 하고 있는 남성화장품 시장에 대한 관심으로 남성화장품 시장의 성장 원인에 대한 분석을 시도하였다. 소비문화를 주도하고 있는 20-30대 남성을 중심으로 남성화장품 소비 변화에 영향을 끼친 원인을 분석하고 그 에 따른 남성화장품 시장의 성장에 대해 알아보았다 . 분석 결과 최근 20-30대 남성의 화장품 소비 변화에 끼친 영향에는 시대 변화에 따라 과거세대와는 다른 에고(Ego) 소비성향이 강한 라이프스타일의 변화와 과거 정통적인 남성성을 강조하는 위버섹슈얼의 유행에서 최근 꽃미남 열풍으로 인한 크로스섹슈얼 유행의 변화,남성들의 외모에 대한 관심이 더욱 증가,과거 강한 남성미를 강조하던 남성화장품 광고 에서 최근 개개인의 개성을 추구하는 전문화,고급화,다양화된 남성화장품을 강조 하는 광고로 변화하면서 이러한 요소들로 인해 남성들의 외모에 대한 관심과 화장품을 구매하는 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 남성화장품의 시장은 국내뿐만 아니라 국외 에서도 급성장할 것이라고 예상된다. 따라서 남성 소비자의 라이프스타일의 변화와 외모 관심도의 변화를 이해하고 더 나아가 사회적인 분위기 변화를 분석하는 것은 앞으로 남성화장품 시장의 발전에 매우 중요하게 작용할 것이다.
Electro-deposited Nanoporous Platinum Electrode for EEG Monitoring

Background: One of the key issues in electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring is accurate signal acquisition with less cumbersome electrodes. In this study, the L2 phase electro- deposited nanoporous platinum (L2-ePt) electrode is introduced, which is a new type of electrode that utilizes a stable nanoporous platinum surface to reduce the skin-electrode impedance. Methods: L2-ePt electrodes were fabricated using electro-deposition technique. Then, the effect of the nanoporous surface on the surface roughness and the electrode impedance were observed from the L2-ePt electrodes and the flat platinum (FlatPt) electrode. The skin-electrode impedances of the L2-ePt electrodes, a gold cup electrode, and the FlatPt electrode were evaluated when placed on the hairy occipital area of the head in ten subjects. For the validation of using the L2-ePt electrode, a correlational analysis of the alpha rhythms was performed in the same subjects for simultaneous EEG recordings using the L2-ePt and clinically-used EEG electrodes. Results: The results indicated that the L2-ePt electrode with a roughness factor of 200 had the lowest mean impedance performance. Moreover, the proposed L2-ePt electrode showed a significantly lower mean skin-electrode impedance than the FlatPt electrode. Finally, the EEG signal quality recorded by the L2-ePt electrode (r = 0.94) was comparable to that of the clinically-used gold cup electrode. Conclusion: Based on these results, the proposed L2-ePt electrode is suitable for use in various high-quality EEG applications.
신고포상금제도를 통한 쓰레기 불법투기 위험 극복 효과의 분석

본 연구의 목적은 쓰레기 불법투기 위험을 극복하기 위한 신고포상금제도의 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2004년부터 2011년까지 63개의 기초자치단체를 대상으로 종량제봉투 판매량과 불법투기 신고건수의 관계를 동적패널 모형으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 신고포상금제도의 운영여부나 1인당 신고건수의 증가가 주민들로 하여금 쓰레기 불법투기 대신 종량제 봉투를 구매하게 하는 유인이 되는 것으로 나타났으나 그 영향의 정도는 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 신고포상금 제도가 쓰레기 불법투기 억제를 위한 정책 수단으로서 효과를 가지고 있으나, 그 효과의 제고를 위해서는 일부 개선이 필요하다는 점을 주장하고 있다. 정책 제언으로는 정책 홍보를 통해 쓰레기 불법투기 신고포상금제의 주민 인지도를 향상시킬 필요가 있고, 신고포상금제도를 광역자치단체 차원에서 활성화해야 하며, 신고포상금제도의 도입 취지를 퇴색시키는 전문신고꾼 문제를 해결해야 한다는 점을 제시하고 있다. This study aims to analyze the effect of report reward system for overcoming the risk of illegal waste disposal. To investigate the impact of report reward system on the sales volume of waste bags, eight years of panel data on 63 local governments was analyzed by the generalized method of moments(system GMM). The data was collected from Korean Freedom of Information System and Korean Statistical Information Service. The results indicate that the operation of report reward system and the number of reports per capita serve as incentives for residents to consume waste bags instead of disposing illegally, whereas the level of influence is modest. This study suggests that although the report reward system contributes to deter the illegal disposal to some extent, some improvements are required to enhance the efficacy of report reward system.
