        감송향 정유성분의 흡입 및 경구투여시의 중추신켱 억제효과

        The essential oil of Nardostachys jatamansi (Valerianaceae), which has been used for a long time in aroma therapy, was investigated after inhalation or oral administration for its analgesic effect, anticonvulsant action, hypnotic effect and in vitro inhibitory activity on monoamine oxidase. This fragrance oil showed a significant analgesic effect in the phenylquinone-induced .writhing test, suppressed the convulsion induced by pentylenetetrazole and lengthened the pentobarbital-induced sleeping time in a time-dependent manner after fragrance inhalation or dose-independently by oral administration. Its inhibitory activity on monoamine oxidase was remarkable, showing $49.4\%$ inhibition at a concentration of 5.0 mg/ml. Six new terpenes with seven known compounds were detected by our GC-MS analytical conditions used. As a result, the essential oil fragrance of Nardostachys jatamansi would be clinically useful for a sedative by either inhalation or oral administration.

        유무기 하이브리드 티타늄 착화합물을 이용한 티타니아의 제조 방법 및 성장 거동에 대한 연구

        Titanium dioxide (TiO<sub>2</sub>) is a typical inorganic material that has an excellent photocatalytic property and a high refractive index. It is used in water/air purifiers, solar cells, white pigments, refractory materials, semiconductors, etc.; its demand is continuously increasing. In this study, anatase and rutile phase titanium dioxide is prepared using hydroxyl and carboxyl; the titanium complex and its mechanism are investigated. As a result of analyzing the phase transition characteristics by a heat treatment temperature using a titanium complex having a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group, it is confirmed that the material properties were different from each other and that the anatase and rutile phase contents can be controlled. The titanium complexes prepared in this study show different characteristics from the titania-formation temperatures of the known anatase and rutile phases. It is inferred that this is due to the change of electrostatic adsorption behavior due to the complexing function of the oxygen sharing point, which crystals of the TiO<sub>6</sub> structure share.

        방사형 집수정에 의한 강변여과수 산출량 산정에 관한 연구

        강변여과수 취수에 있어 수직정의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 방사형 집수정에 의한 취수 방식을 해결 방안으로 모색되어 지고 있다. 본 연구는 방사형 집수정에 의한 강변여과수 개발 시 개략적 산출량 예측을 위한 방법으로 사용하는 경험식(Petrovic식, Milojevic식)의 적용성 및 군우물을 이용한 방사형 집수정 모델링 가능성에 대해 검토하였다. 강변여과수 산출량 계산 시 Milojevic 경험식은 하천의 자연조건, 스크린의 직경, 설치위치 등을 고려하기 때문에 Petrovic 경험식에 비해 적용성이 큰 것으로 나타났고, 군우물을 이용한 방사형 집수정 지하수위 특성에 대한 모델링과 수위하강특성 등이 유사하게 나타났다. 또한 방사형 집수정 설치 시 수평정 각도 등을 조정함으로 지하수위 하강을 감소시킬 수 있으며 체류시간 확보에 일정부분 기여 할 것으로 나타났다. The horizontal collector well is used to treat some weak points of the vertical well in the bank filtration site. In this study two empirical formulas(Milojevic and Petrovic) are selected to examine the applicability for calculating the yield of the horizontal collector. And they are compared with the compute simulation results for multiple wells. Milojevic empirical formula which considers the conditions such as aquifer, well location, the diameter of screen etc. is more applicable than Petrovic formula. Draw-down characteristics of horizontal collector was well simulated by using the computer simulation for multiple wells. The results are well agreement with Milojevic formula, and the draw-down and the retention time of the horizontal collector can be controlled by adjusting the angle of lateral screens.

        강변여과 취수시 과도한 지하수 하강을 저감시키기 위한 인공함양의 활용방안 연구

        강변여과수의 과도한 취수는 제내지 지하수위 하강을 발생하게 하며 이로 인해서 제내지 농경지의 토양 건조도가 증가되어 과도한 관계용수의 보충이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 지하수위 하강으로 인한 기존 관정사용이 어려워져 더 깊은 새로운 관정을 개발해야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 지하수위 하강을 저감시키기 위한 방안으로 제내지 측에 인공함양우물을 설치하는 방법을 제안하였다. 창원시 강변여과 시설에 적용한 결과 인공함양우물의 최적 위치는 취수정으로부터 제내지 측으로 200m 지점에 위치하며, 함양량을 취수량의 5%를 유지하는 것이 지하수위하강을 저감하기위한 효과적인 조건으로 판단되었다. Excess pumping on the river bank filtration well causes the over drawdown in the protected area of bank, which may make many problems such as soil water contents, pumping head in the irrigated land, and it needs more irrigation and development of the deeper irrigating well. In this study the installation of the artificial recharging well was suggested to reduce the excess draw down in the protected land. Artificial recharging wells were applied at the bank filtration site of Changwon city by using Visual-MODFLOW. The optimized conditions are calculated that the recharging well is located about 200m apart from the pumping well, and the recharging rate is 5% of the pumping yield.

        Cisplatin의 신장독성에 대한 영지추출물 복합제제의 보호효과

        In this paper, the effect of Ganopoly(extracts of Ganoderma lucidum) and Ganopoly/C^+(70% Ganopoly + 30% chitosan) on cisplastin-induced nephrotoxicity was investigated in Sprague-Dawley rats. A single dose of dispiastin(5 ㎎/kg) was administered intraperitoneally after pretreatment of saline, Ganopoly and Ganopoly/C^+ for 7 days. The nephrotoxicity and renal function were manifestated by the changes of body weight, blood pressure, biochemical changes and solute in urine and plasma. After the treatment of CDDP(cis-dichlorodiamineplatinum), a significant elevation of kidney weight, serum urea, cretinine, urine volume for 24 hours, urine magnesium, and a severe or significant decrease in body weight, blood pressure, creatinine clearance, urine osmolarity, serum albumin, etc. The nephrotoxicity was further confirmed by a significant decrease in glutathione S-transferase(GSH) in urine and kidney homogenate, GSH, glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) and catalase in kidney tissue. And also the lipid peroxidation was significantly increased in kidney homogenate. These signs of nephrotoxicity was ameliorated by the pretreatment and consecutive administration of Ganopoly and Ganopoly/C^+ for 14 days after the i.p. injection of CDDP on 7th day after pretreatment of Ganopoly and Ganopoly/C^+. The amelioration of nephrotoxicity was evidenced by significant reduction in serum urea and creatinine concentration, and improvement of other index of renal function. And The activity of antioxidant enzymes were partially recovered in kidney tissue of rats treated by CDDP and the administration of Ganopoly and Ganopoly/C^+. These results indicate the cispastin induced nephrotoxicity is due to an impairment of tubular reabsorption systems enhanced by necrosis of proximal tubule, and the Ganopoly and Ganopoly/C^+ has a partial protective effect on nephrotoxicity induced by CDDP. The polysacchride of Ganoderma lucidum may improve the therapeutic index of nephrotoxicity induced by CDDP. However, it is needed to elucidate the mechanism for confirming the therapeutic effect.

        加味地黃丸이 低酸素性 神經細胞 손상에 미치는 영향

        To elucidate the neuroprotective effect of Kamijihwang-hwan(KSH) on nerve cells damaged by hypoxia, the cytotoxic effects of exposure to hypoxia were determined by XTT, NR, MTT and SRB asssay. The activity of catalase and SOD was measured by spectrophornetry, and TNF-o and PKC activity was measured after exposure to hypoxia and treatment of Kamijihwang-hwan(KSH) water extract(KJHWE). also the neuroprotective effect of KJHWE was researched for the elucidation of neuroprotective mechanism. The results were as follows; Hypoxia decreased cell viability measured by XTT, NR assay when cultured cerebral neurons were exposed to 95% N2/596 CO_2 for 2 ~ 26 minutes in these cultures and KJHWE inhibited the decrease of cell viability. H_2O_2 treatment decreased cell viability measured by MTT, and SRB assay when cultured cerebral neurons were exposed to 1-80 μM for 6 hours, but KJHWE inhibited the decrease of cell viability. Hypoxia decreased catalase and SOD activity, and also TNF-α and PKC activity in these cultured cerebral neurons, but KJHWE inhibited the decrease of the catalase and SOD activity in these cultures. Hypoxia triggered the apoptosis via caspase activation and internucleosomal DNA fragmentation. Also hypoxia stimulate the release of cytochrome c form mitochondria. KJHWE inhibited the apoptosis via caspase activation induced by hypoxia. From these results, it can be suggested that brain ischemia model induced hypoxia showed neurotoxity on cuHued mouse cerebral neurons, and the KJHWE has the neuroprotective effect in blocking the neurotoxity induced by hypoxia in cultured mouse cerebral neurons.
