The venom gland of Toad contains large quantities of cardiac glycosides, and toad venom poisoning is similar to digitalis toxicity and carries a high mortality. Sometimes after ingestion of aphrodisiac pills which contain dried toad, a patient develops gastrointestinal symptoms and bradycardia, psychoneurologic symptoms. We have experienced 2 cases of toad venom intoxication, who ingested asian toads. Patients were presented to our ED with nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. The patients were peformed monitoring and conservative treatment and were fully recovered. Toad venom intoxication should be considered in patients with clinical manifestation of gastrointestinal irritation, cardiac arrhythmias, hyperkalemia, and detectable serum digoxin level without current medication of digoxin.
컴퓨터교과교육 : 컴파일러 개발환경 Edu-IDEC를 이용한 컴파일러 수업모형 개발

컴파일러와 언어구현 교과목은 컴퓨터과학 교과과정에서 오랫동안 중요한 주제로 인식되어 왔다. 그것은 컴파일러에 관한 지식이 프로그래밍 언어와 시스템을 이해하는 데에 중요한 역할을 할 뿐 아니라, 컴파일러 기술이 많은 응용 영역에서 활용될 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 제한된 자원과 시간적 제약 때문에 컴파일러 기술을 효과적으로 전달하기 위해서는 많은 노력이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 교육용 컴파일러 개발환경인 Edu-IDEC을 이용한 컴파일러 수업모형을 제시한다. Edu-IDEC는 로봇 플랫폼에서의 컴파일러 개발환경으로서, 컴파일러 제작도구, 레퍼런스 컴파일러, 구문트리 시각화도구, 목적언어 시각화 도구, 로봇제어기, 그리고 로봇시뮬레이터 등의 기능이 있으며, 이클립스 플러그인 기반으로 동작한다. 그리고 제시된 모형을 실제 수업에 적용하여 그 평가결과를 제시한다. Compiler and language implementation courses have long been recognized as an important subject in Computer Science curricula. It is because not only the knowledge for a compiler plays important roles in understanding programming languages and systems but compiler technologies can be used in many applications. However it requires much effort to teach effectively it due to limited resources and time restriction. We present a compiler teaching model using Edu IDEC which is a development environment of educational compilers. Edu IDEC is a tool on the robot platform. It uses the Eclipse plug ins and has functions like compiler developing tools, a reference compiler, visualization tool of syntax tree, visualization tool of object language, NXT robot controllers, and its simulator. We also present the evaluation results for our model by applying it to an actual class.
가상 공간 디자인을 위한 3차원 목표곡선을 이용한 곡면 변형

2차원 평면 입력을 통한 모델링에서는 입력 값을 3차원 데이타로 바꾸기 위한 기능과 메뉴들이 필요하지만 가상공간 디자인을 위한 3차원 입력 시스템은 입력 값을 곧바로 3차원 데이타로 변환될 수 있다. 하지만 3차원 입력시스템에서 효율적인 곡면 모델링 방법, 특히 곡면 변형 방법은 제안되지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 변형방법이 3차원 입력시스템에서 적용되었을 때 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 제시한다. 그리고 디자이너가 접근하기 쉬운 목표곡선을 이용한 변형을 제안한다. 이와 같은 3차원 목표곡선을 이용한 변형을 통해 디자이너가 보다 쉽게 3차원 입력시스템에 접근하여 가상공간 스케칭 및 디자인을 구현할 수 있다. 2D input data have to be converted into 3D data by means of some functions and menu system in 2D input modeling system. But data in 3D input system for virtual spatial design can be directly connected to the 3D modeling data. Nevertheless, efficient surface modeling and deformation algorithm for the 3D input modeling system are not proposed yet. In this paper, problems of conventional NURBS surface deformation methods which can occur when applied in the 3D input modeling system are introduced. And NURBS surface deformation by 3D target curves, in which the designer can easily approach, are suggested. Designer can efficiently implement the virtual spatial sketching and design by using the proposed deformation algorithm.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to survey the general recognition of dental insurance and the actual condition of insurance education, then to offer the reference for AGD resident education requisite to qualification renewal. Method : 129 questionnaires were sent out to AGD residents and people who completed the AGD course in 20 dental hospital and 49 were returned(return rate: 38.0%). The questionnaires with 21 questions about dental health insurance education were sent by e-mail and fax from 2010.11.15 to 12.4. Results and Conclusion : Most respondents felt the need of insurance education in the course of AGD. However, this study finds out insufficient insurance education in AGD course, caused by inadequate education system of health insurance, lack of education time and impractical contents. In AGD course, expanding the education about health insurance would complement insufficient curriculum in the undergraduate dental college.

The haptic actuator needs to downsize in the mobile devices continuatively. In this work, the hinge lever mechanism was used in order to prevent lowering the vibration performances of the downsized actuator. The vibration performances of actuator with and without hinge-lever mechanism were simulated by the finite element method analysis. It is concluded that the hinge-lever mechanism may be a proper measure to prevent lowering the vibration performances in the downsized piezoelectric actuator.

The purpose of this work is to predict the systolic blood pressure (BP) during exercise from pulse transit time (PTT) for warning of possible danger. PTT was calculated as the time between R-peak of ECG and the peak of differential photoplethysmograph (PPG). For the PTT-BP model, we used regress equations from previous studies and 3 kinds of new models combining linear and nonlinear regress equation. The model parameters were estimated with the data measured under low to middle intensity exercise, and then was tested with the data measured under high intensity exercise. Predicted BP values after high intensity exercise were compared with those measured by cuff-type sphygmomanometer. The results showed that the error between measured and predicted values were acceptable for the monitoring BP. We tested PTT-BP models 1 month after the identification without further calibration. Models could predict the BP and the errors between measured and predicted BP were about 5mmHg. The suggested system is expected to be helpful in recognizing any danger during exercise.
