기존망이 ISDN으로 가는 과도기적 단계에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 망 접속 및 가입자/망간 접속에 대처하기 위해서는 각종 정합 장치 및 이에 적용될 실현 기준과 알고리즘의 개발이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 ISDN신호 방식과 기준망의 신호 방식을 정합 시킬 수 있는 방안을 연구, 검토한 후 ISDN 가입자 단말 장치를 기존망이 효과적으로 수용 가능한 신호 정합 방안을 제안하였다. 또한 이에 기초한 신호 정합 장치를 구현하여 본 연구의 타당성과 그 효용성을 검증하였다. According to the conventional network evolving towards ISDN, various connection types may be existed in the networks and subscriber-network interfaces. For this reason it is necessary to study the signalling conversion algorithms and the implementation models. In this paper, after surveying the signalling conversion method between the ISDN subscriber and the conventional network, the signaling conversion algorithms are proposed. Based on this algorithms the matching system is designed and developed. Also the validity of this system and the utility of designed software and hardware functions are verified through experiments.

Prostatic stromal tumor of uncertain malignant potential (STUMP) is a rare neoplasm with distinctive clinical and pathological characteristics. Here we report a case of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy performed in a patient with prostatic STUMP.

Two-dimensional infrared (2D-IR) spectroscopy can probe the fast structural evolution of molecules under thermal equilibrium. Vibrational frequency fluctuation caused by structural evolution produced the timedependent line shape change in 2D-IR spectrum. A variety of methods has been used to connect the evolution of 2D-IR spectrum with Frequency-Frequency Correlation Function (FFCF), which connects the experimental observables to a molecular level description. Here, a new method to extract FFCF from 2D-IR spectra is described. The experimental observable is the time-dependent frequency shift of maximum peak position in the slice spectrum of 2D-IR, which is taken along the excitation frequency axis. The direct relation between the 2D-IR peak shift and FFCF is proved analytically. Observing the 2D-IR peak shift does not need the full 2DIR spectrum which covers 0-1 and 1-2 bands. Thus data collection time to determine FFCF can be reduced significantly, which helps the detection of transient species.

To evaluate the ability of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) in detecting bladder urothelial carcinoma (BUC), FISH and cytology were compared for the evaluation of 308 consecutive urine samples from patients suspected of having BUC. All patients underwent cystoscopy for identification of bladder lesions. The FISH results were compared with the cytology assessment. In all, 122 patients had confirmed BUC. Among them, 68 (55.7%) were FISH-positive, while only 33 (27%) were positive on cytology. According to disease stage (superficial vs. invasive) and grade (low vs. high), the sensitivities of FISH were also significantly higher than those of cytology in all categories. Moreover, in 36 patients who had no visible tumor with flat, erythematous mucosa (suspicious lesion), FISH was more sensitive than cytology for the detection of BUC (83.3% vs. 33.3%, P=0.002). The FISH was negative in 168 (90.3%) of 186 patients with no histological evidence of BUC or negative cystoscopy findings. The sensitivity of FISH for detecting BUC was superior to that of cytology, regardless of tumor stage and grade. FISH is a significant additional and complementary method for detection of BUC in patients who have suspicious lesions on cystoscopy.
