Aspergillus bursitis is an uncommon condition demonstrated as a nonspecific soft tissue mass. To our knowledge, the ultrasonographic findings of aspergillus bursitis in immunocompromised patients have not been previously reported. Here, we report a case of aspergillus bursitis in a renal transplant recipient, accompanied by the associated ultrasonographic findings.

Diffuse telangiectatic type of pulmonary arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is an uncommon disease entity in which numerous small arteriovenous connections occur throughout the lungs. It has rarely been confirmed by pulmonary angiography. We report a case of diffuse telangiectatic pulmonary AVM occurring in a patient with dyspnea and confirmed by CT using the slab maximum intensity projection (MIP) technique and conventional direct pulmonary angiography. 폐동정맥기형의 드문 형태로서 많은 소동정맥의 연결에 의해 이루어진 미만성 모세혈관확장형이 있으며 CT와 혈관조영술에서 모두 명확하게 확인된 경우는 드물다. 저자들은, 원인을 알 수 없는 호흡곤란을 주소로 내원한 21세 남자 환자에서, slab maximum intensity projection (MIP) 기법을 이용한 CT와 혈관조영술로 확진된 1예를 보고하고자 한다.

A primary leiomyoma in the neural foramen of the lumbar spine is a very rare condition. We examined a 23-year-old female presented with back and right flank pain. A plain radiography showed a well-defined, osteolytic lesion in the L3 body. In addition, MR images showed a mass lesion with intense enhancement, after intravenous injection with contrast material, in the right neural foramen at the L2/3 level. A histopathologic examination of the resected specimen revealed a benign leiomyoma. 요추골 신경공에 발생한 원발성 평활근종은 매우 드문 질환이다. 저자들은 요통과 측복부 통증을 주소로 내원한 23세 여자환자를 검사하였다. 단순촬영에서 경계가 분명한 골용해성의 병변이 제3요추에서 관찰되었다. 자기공명영상검사에서 강한 조영증강을 보이는 종괴가 제2요추와 제3요추 사이의 우측 신경공에서 관찰되었다. 조직병리학적 검사에서 검체는 양성 평활근종으로 확인되었다.

For the Y5V characteristic MLCC which is very prone to crack, it is important to to find out the basic cause of the crack. After finding out the crack origin, the materials and processes should be developed to remove the crack. The microstructures of the cracks were investigated using the fractographic method for the various types of cracks such as an exterior crack, a cyclic thermal shock crack, and an piezo-electric crack. It was found out that the crack origin was the pore at the end of the Ni inner electrode after bake-out. Even though the three dimensional crack shapes were different, the crack origins were seemed to be similar. The exterior crack could grow from the origin with the aids of residual and applied stress. FEM (finite element method) analysis was used to calculate the stress distribution of residual and applied stress. And the concept of fracture mechanics was applied for the explanation of the crack initiation and propagation from the stresses concentration. MR Findings of Desmoplastic Fibroblastoma: A Case Report

Desmoplastic fibroblastoma is a rare, fibrous, soft-tissue tumor that usually arises in subcutaneous tissues and skeletal muscle at various anatomic sites. We report a case of desmoplastic fibroblastoma in a 33-year-old female presented with a palpable mass in her right arm. Ultrasound images showed a hypoechoic mass lesion with internal vascularity. Magnetic resonance (MR) images showed areas of heterogeneously with high and low signal intensity on T2-weighted images, and intense enhancement on postcontrast T1-weighted images. Histopathologic examination of the resected specimen confirmed desmoplastic fibroblastoma.
MR Findings of Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumor of the Thigh: A Case Report

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor is a rare benign condition of an unknown etiology and it may be clinically misdiagnosed as a malignant tumor. We examined a 28-year-old male with a slowly-growing mass in his left thigh. The MR images showed a relatively well-defined, intermuscular mass lesion with heterogeneous enhancement. The histopathologic examination of the resected specimen revealed inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. We report here on the MR findings of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the thigh in this patient.
