Background / Aims : This study aimed to estimate the seroepidemiology of hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection with emphasis on the transmission of HBV infection between mother's and their children. Methods : For 452 patients with HBV associated chronic liver disease, and 1,098 of their offspring, who visited Korea University Kuro Hospital from February, 2000 to February,2001, HBsAg was tested by radioimmunoassay. Results : Among siblings whose mothers were HBsAg - positive, the overall prevalence rate of HBV infection was 44.9%(140/312) and decreased with decreasing age(54.7% in ≥ 20 years old age group, 33.3% in 10-19 years old age group, 7.6% in < 10 years old age group). The estimated proportion of perinatal infection out of modes of HBV transmissions in the general population was 38% in < 10 years and 63.4% in 10-19 years. Conclusion : The present hepatitis B vaccination strategies-especially against perinatal infection of Korea have performed to their utmost. More effective methods for prevention of HBV transmission are now needed.
알곤 이온빔 입사각에 따른 PEN (Polyethylene Naphthalate) 필름 표면의 자가나노구조화 및 anti-fogging/anti-bacterial 특성 분석

고분자 필름 표면에 이온을 조사하였을 때 발생하는 자가나노구조화 현상을 이용하여 형성한 nm급 크기의 구조를 통해 anti-fogging 특성을 형성시키고 나노구조 상에 항균물질을 마그네트론 스퍼터링을 통해 증착하여 anti-bacterial 특성을 동시에 구현한 필름을 제작하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 알곤 이온빔으로 Polyethylene Naphthalate (PEN) 필름 표면에 입사되는 이온의 각도를 조절하여 나노구조를 형성하였으며 이온 입사각에 따라 변하는 PEN필름 상 다양한 형태의 나노구조 표면에서의 anti-fogging 특성을 분석하고 나노구조 상에 항균물질인 Cu를 증착하여 anti-bacterial 특성을 분석하였다.

Pb(Zr0.5Ti0.5)O3 piezoelectric ceramics have been prepared using a spark plasma sintering technique and adapted for the design of a noninvasive lipolysis system, as the traditional ultrasound-assisted lipolysis system (UALS) is extremely invasive,significantly increasing the risk of morbidity and mortality. In order to transfer high sonic energy into a certain depth of skin (subcutaneous area) with minimal damage to superficial skin, a focusing acoustic wave design was developed. The selfdesigned UALS device was found to be very effective in destructing the adipocytes around the focused area in animal experiments. The focusing probe with bio-applicable piezoelectric materials shows great promise for future clinical applications.

句法結構(syntatic structure)和語義結構(semantic structure)之間的聯係規則(lingking rules)在語言學界是一個備受촉目的話題, 但我們發現這種聯係規則存在一些問題。因爲聯係規則不能把握句子裏的歪曲(screwing)因素, 而且一個句子除了句子裏面的動詞和論元以外, 還具有自己本身的意義。所以我們主張要把握漢語的句法結構和語義結構, 不能根據聯係規則, 而是要以句子爲依據。本篇文章主要考察了表處置的代表句型‘把’字句, 表被動的代表句型‘被’字句, 以及表致使的代表句型‘使’字句, 幷且觀察到各句型都具有自己本身的語義。由此可知, 雖然兩個句型可以互相變換, 但這幷不意味著兩個句型表示同樣的意義。
