      • 케이블 트러스 구조체의 비선형 해석

        Cable structure shows geometrically nonlinear behaviors even in the service loading conditions and the determination of its initial geometry must be preceded for the theoretical analysis. In this research the equation related to the determination of the initial geometry has been derived from the equilibrium conditions at nodes and the nonlinear behavior of the cable truss structure has been analyzed by solving nonlinear simultaneous equations through the tangent stiffness approach. To check the applicability of the proposed method two models of cable trusses have been analyzed and compared with the tension coefficient approach and the continuum approach. The results from the examples have shown good agreements with the maximum differences being 1.45% for the nodal displacements and 0.34% for the additional tensions in cables.

        In the present study, the influence of the measuring apparatus to the analysis of the combustion is clarified. T재 measuring system used are ; 8-bit system and 12-bit system (composed of 12-bit A/D converter and 16-bit AT grade computer). It was shown that the 12-bit system gave more accurate and more reliable data for the combustion analysis than the 8-bit system.

      • 소아과 입원 환자에 대한 통계적 고찰

        For the purpose of assessing the disease patterns by the body organ system in patients of the pediatric age, we performed a statistical analysis of diseases of patients admitted to the department of pediatrics at Chungnam National University Hospital from January 1990 to December 1994. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Total numbers of in-patients were 8,007, of which 4,923 were male and 3,084 were female. The ratio male to female was 1.60 : 1. 2. Prevalence of the diseases classified by body organ system was in the following order : neonatal diseases (34.6%), respiratory diseases (17.4%), infectious diseases (11.5%), congenital anomalies (5.5%), digestive diseases (5.1%), genitourinary diseases (4.9%), neoplasm (4.7%), blood diseases (3.3%), nervous system diseases (2.8%), metabolic and endocrine diseases (2.4%), circulatory system diseases (2.3%), skin and subcutaneous diseases (1.3%), musculoskeletal and connective tissue diseases (1.2%), mental and behavior disorders (0.4%). 3. Major diseases in each body organ system were as follows : 1) infectious diseases : unspecified acute gastroenteritis (35.9%), viral meningitis (10.4%), Rotaviral enteritis (6.8%), sepsis (6.7%), measles (5.8%). 2) neoplasm ; ALL (34.1%), AML (15.8%), Wilms tumor (12.8%), NHL (8.2%), neuroblastoma (5.6%) 3) blood diseases : allergic purpura (24.2%), aplastic anemia (17.1%), ITP (16.4%), iron deficiency anemia (15.8%). 4) metabolic and endocrine diseases : short stature (22.0%), hypocalcemia (13.8%), metabolic acidosis (9.6%), IDDM (6.4%). 5) mental and behavior diseases : neurosis (47.7%), mental retardation (18.2%). 6) Nervous and sensory system diseases : epilepsy (43.2%), cerebral palsy (12.1%), otitis media (9.3%), encephalopathy (6.2%). 7) circulatory system diseases: congestive heart failure (29.2%), dilated cardiomyopathy (8.0%), rheumatic fever (8.0%), mitral insufficiency (6.8%), hypertension (6.4%). 8) respiratory diseases : pneumonia (40.1%), URI (9.6%), acute tonsillitis (9.4%), asthma (8.5%), acute bronchiolitis (8.3%), croup (7.1%), acute bronchitis (4.1%). 9) digestive system diseases : unspecified hepatitis (22.8%), acute gastritis (13.8%). CAH (12.6%), intussusception (7.8%), constipation (7.1%). 10) skin and subcutaneous diseases : cellulitis (23.1%), lymphadenitis (19.7%), urticaria (15.6%), atopic dermatitis (8.8%), furuncle (8.2%). 11) musculoskeletal and connective tissue diseases : Kawasaki disease (76.8%), JRA (8.5%), SLE (7.0%). 12) genitourinary system diseases : UTI (29.0%), minimal change nephrotic syndrome (27.3%), APSGN (7.6%), APN (4.9%). 13) congenital or chromosomal abnormalities : VSD (38.7%), ASD (10.5%), TOF (8.4%), PDA (5.2%), CHPS (4.5%), Down syndrome (4.1%). 14) neonatal diseases : jaundice (32.0%), prematurity (12.7%), RDS (5.7%), sepsis (4.5%), birth asphyxia (3.0%), SGA (3.0%). 15) Others : febrile convulsion (45.6%), failure to thrive (9.2%), FUO (8.9%), drug intoxication (8.2%). 4. Common diseases for admission in pediatrics were in the following order : jaundice, pneumonia, unspecified acute gastroenteritis, VSD, RDS, URI, acute tonsillitis, acute lymphadenitis, ALL, sepsis, asthma, acute bronchiolitis, UTI.

      • 주파수 선택성 레일리 페이딩 환경에서 부호화 기법을 이용한 직교 멀티캐리어 시스템의 오율 해석

        본 논문에서는 주파수 선택성 레일리 페이딩 환경에서 RS부호화, 컨벌루션 부호화, 연접부화를 이용하는 직교 멀티캐리어 BDPSK시스템과 QDPSK시스템의 오율특성을 구하였다. 오율특성은 정규화된 지연시간(??), 비트에너지 대 잡음전력 스펙트럼 밀도비(??), 희망 신호전력 대 지연되 비희망 신호전력비(D/U)를 파라미터로 하여 나타내었다. 검토한 결과, BDPSK 신호인 경우 D/U가 20[dB]일 대 오율을 ??으로 유지하기 위해 필요한 Eb/No는 Rs부호화, 컨벌루션 부호화 및 연접부호화에서느 각각 대략 20.8[dB], 16.0[dB], 14.5 [dB]가 필요하며, QDPSK신호인 경우 Rs부호화, 컨벌루션 부호화 및 연접부호화에서 각각 대략 24.0[dB], 18.9[dB], 13.5[dB]가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. This paper has evaluated the error performance of orthogonal multicarrier BDPSK and QDPSK systems which use Reed Solomon coding, convolutional coding, and concatenated coding technique in a frequency selective Rayleigh fading environment. The results show that when D/U (desired wave's power to undesired delayed wave's power ratio)=20dB at error rate of ??, Reed Solomeon coded BDPSK signal, convolutional coded BDPSK signal, and concatenated coded BDPSK signal need about 20.8[dB], 16.0[dB], 14.5[dB] respectively in terms of Eb/No, and Reed Solomon coded QDPSK signal, convolutional coded QDPSK signal, and concatenated coded QDPSK signal need about 24.0[dB], 18.9[dB], 13.5[dB] respectively.

      • 저세포성 골수를 보인 환자에서 저용량 Ara-C 치료 후 급성골수성백혈병으로 진단된 1예

        저세포성 급성골수성백혈병은 골수 검사 결과 세포충실도가 5~40%이면서 백혈구 아세포가 30% 이상이 되는 경우를 말하며 급성백혈병 중 5~10%를 차지한다. 저세포성 급성골수성백혈병에서 low-dose Ara-C는 골수양 분화를 항진시킴으로 치료 효과를 가진다고 알려져 있다. 저자들은 저세포성 급성골수성백혈병 또는 저세포성 골수이형성증후군이 의심되어 low-dose Ara-C를 투여한 후 세포충실도의 증가를 보이며, 후에 급성골수성백혈병으로 진행하는 증례를 경험하였다. 본 증례에서는 low-dose Ara-C 투여 후 골수의 세포충실도의 증가를 확인할 수 있어 low-dose Ara-C의 분화 유도 효과를 뒷받침해 준다고 볼 수 있다. 환자는 idarubicin과 Ara-C 병용 요법으로 관해유도요법을 시행한 후 완전관해에 도달하여 공고요법 중이다. Hypocellular AML occurs in 5 to 10% of patients with AML, and has been described as a subset of AML with a cellularity between 5 and 40% when the blast % exceeds 30% of all the nucleated bone marrow (BM) cells. Low-dose cytosine arabinoside (Ara-C) in patients with hypocellular AML is known to be an effective regimen with some clinical benefits through the action of myeloid differentiation. We experienced a 56- year-old female with pancytopenia in the peripheral blood and a hypocellular marrow. She was diagnosed of having either hypocellular AML or hypocellular MDS and chemotherapy with low- dose Ara-C was started. Her BM cellularity increased to 10%. Two months later she was admitted again with thrombocytopenia with a BM cellularity of 75% and was diagnosed of AML (FAB M2). The increase in BM cellularity supported the myeloid differentiation effect of low-dose Ara-C. She achieved complete remission after receiving a combination regimen of idarubicin and Ara-C and is presently undergoing postremission therapy.

        Dish, Toroidal and Reflex combustion chamber piston types of direct-injection Diesel engine were compared in order to investigate the effect of gas flow in cylinder associated with the combustion chamber geometry on combustion characteristics engine performance and exhaust gas emissions ; and as the results Relfex type has superior performance compares with Dish and Toroidal type.

      • 발단 단계별로 분할한 생쥐 수정란에 Rat H-Y 항체 처리가 분할란의 발달에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was carried out to develop a new technique of identifying XX or XY-bearing bisected embryos prior to implantation by immunological method. H-Y antiserum prepared in inbred Wistar female rats by repeated immunization with spleen cells from males of the same strain. The reactivity of H-Y antibody was confirmed by culturing mouse embryos in the medium containing H-Y antiserum and complement obtained from the guinea pig. The optimal condition for the activity of H-Y antibody was also investigated by culturing embryos under the concentration or affected H-Y antibody and culture rate. The bisection rate of mouse embryo at 4-cell stage(64.6%) was significantly(P<0.05) low than 8-cell(76.0%), morula(81.2%) or blastocyst(81.3%). And not significantly(P<0.05) different from 4 to 8-cell and morula to blastocyst stage embryos. When the bisected embryos without any damage from microsurgery were cultured in vitro up to twin blastocyst or twin reformated blastocyst, the in vitro development of demi-embryos bisected at morula to blastocyst was 81.6 to 84.7%. However, the in vitro development of demi-embryos bisected at 4-cell(31.6%) to 8-cell(37.8%) stage was significantly(P<0.05) lower. The lysis-rate of bisected 4- to 8-cell and morula to blastocyst embryo was 42.7 and 58.6%. The morphology embryos of zona-free and intact embryos showed the embryos lysis rate of 48.5 and 42.7% respectively(P<0.05).

      • PMDA-ODA 폴리이미드의 합성 및 특성에 관한 연구

        Pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA) 와 Oxydianiline(ODA)를 N, N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc)에 녹여 Polyamic acid(PAA)를 2단계 열이미드화법으로 제조하였다. 제조된 폴리이미드 막의 이미드화도는 FT-IR에 의하여 분석되었다. 또한 PAA의 농도를 10~30wt%로 변화시키며 합성하여 열이미드화 시킨 후 농도에 따른 단면의 상태를 SEM사진을 통하여 관찰하였다. 농도 변화에 따른 밀도와 T_g의 변화는 혼합액체부상법과 DSC로 분석되었다. 열처리 온도를 증가시킬수록 이미드화도는 증가되었고 PAA의 농도가 증가할수록 필름의 단면이 치밀해짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한 제조된 PMDA-ODA 폴리이미드의 T_g는 215℃ 이었다. Polyamic acid(PAA) was synthesised with Pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA) and Oxydianiline (ODA) in N, N-dimethylacetamide(DMAc). PMDA-ODA polyimide membranes were obtained by two step thermal imidization, and the degree of imidization of polyimide membranes was observed by the FT-IR. After the thermal imidization through the concentration of varied synthesis of PAA, 10~30wt%, SEM photographies of section state were observed. The density and glass transition temperature on the varied concentration were replace with investigated test of density and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). With increasing thermal treatment temperature, the degree of imidization was increased. While the concentration of PAA increases, the section of membrane was densed. The glass transition temperature was maintained to be constant(215℃) within the PAA concentration range.

      • Interleukin-2가 Mouse간의 인산염분해효소의 활성에 미치는 영향

        In recent years, interleukin-2, a lymphokine produced by antigen or mitogenstimulated lymphocytes, has been intensively with the development of immunooncology and chemoimmunotherapy of the malignant tumor. Interleukin-2 mediates antitumor effect by stimulating the proliferation of helperand cytotoxic T cells, augmenting the cytolytic activities of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and differentiating T-lymphocytes into a lymphokine-activated killer cell in vivo. Thus interleukin-2 induces the therapeutic effects on various sarcoma and carcinoma and regresses the pulmonary, hepatic and peritoneal metastases of various tumors. Although interleukin-2 is very effective for the treatment of various malignancy, it develops many side effects including fever, chill, malaise, mental confusion, diarrhea, vomiting and oliguria and causes pulmonary, hepatic and renal toxicities. Especially interleukin-2 results in increase of capillary permeability with weight gain, pulmonary edema, and ascites. In this experiment, the author studied the effect of interleukin-2 on the mouse liver, histochemically observing the changes in the activities of alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase and adenosine triphosphatase. Male mice, DDY strain, weighing 20gm, were used as experimental animals. The experimental animals were sacrificed at 3, 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours after intraperitoneal administration of two milions unit of interleukin-2 per kilogram of body weight. The specimens obtained from the liver were fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin solution for 24 hours at 4℃ and sliced at 16㎛ thickness in a frozen cryostat. The activities of alkaline phosphatase and acid phosphatase were observed by the Gomori's method and the activity of adenosine triphosphatase was observed by the Wachstein and Meisel's method for histochemical study. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The acid phosphatase activity was strong positive at 12 hours and 24 hours groups in the central and portal zones of the liver lobules, but weak positive and moderate positive at 48 hours group in the central and portal zones of the liver lobules, respectively. 2. The alkaline phosphatase activity was weak positive at 6 hours and 12 hours groups and moderate positive at 48 hours group in the central and portal zone of the liver lobules. 3. The adenosine triphosphatase activity was trace positive in the central zone and weak positive in the portal zone of the liver lobules at 6 hours group but moderate positive at 48 hours group in the central and portal zones of the liver lobules. Consequently, it is suggested that interleukin-2 induce degenerative changes of the hepatocytes of the mouse, but it is recovered with time.

        An experimental apparatus and measuring system has been made to obtain the characteristics related to evaporation, ignition and combustion of a fleely falling fuel droplet under a high temperature and high gas stream. Some systematic experiments have performed to ensure the utility of system. The newly deviced apparatus made sure of the reliability and utility based on experimental results.
