Power Cable Ampacity and Influential Factors Analysis under Operation

( Qiang Tong ),( Jianping Qi ),( Yanling Wang ),( Likai Liang ),( Xiangxing Meng ),( Qiang Zhang ) 한국정보처리학회 2018 Journal of information processing systems Vol.14 No.5

With the increasing of urban electricity demand, making the most use of the power cable carrying capacity has become an important task in power grid system. Contrary to the rated ampacity obtained under extremely conservative conditions, this paper presents the various steady value of cable ampacity by using the changing surrounding parameters under operation, which is based on cable ampacity calculation equation under the IEC-60287 standard. To some degree, the cable ampacity analysis of actual surroundings improves the transmission capacity of cables. This paper reveals the factors that influence cable ampacity such as insulating layer thickness, allowable long-term conductor temperature, the ambient temperature, soil thermal resistance coefficient, and so on, then gives the class of the influence of these parameters on the ampacity, which plays a great role in accurately calculating the real-time ampacity and improving the utilization rate of cable in the complex external environment condition. Furthermore, the transient thermal rating of the cable is analyzed in this paper, and temperature variation of the conductor under different overload conditions is discussed, which provides effective information for the operation and control of the system.

Synthesis, Characterization and Electrical Properties of Novel Steric Phthalocyanine Polymers

        Qiang Liang,Peng Zhao,우재완,박용성,Lihong Niu,Fushi Zhang 한국고분자학회 2010 Macromolecular Research Vol.18 No.2

Two novel steric polymeric phthalocyanines, with copper (CuPPc) and aluminum hybrid zinc (Al/ZnPPc)as the central atoms, were synthesized by the cyclic condensation of tetrahedral tetra-phthalonitriles. The IR and UVVIS spectra of the synthesized polymers indicated a moderate degree of polymerization, somewhere between the monomeric phthalocyanine and planar covalent polymer. Good thermal stability and a high metallic content of CuPPc and Al/ZnPPc were verified by TGA and ICA-AAS methods. The metallic atoms were distributed uniformly and exhibited different binding features with -CN, -O, -N in the polymer, as indicated by EDS and XPS analysis. High electrical conductivity was observed before and after iodine doping compared to the normal polymeric phthalocyanine.

Loss of RTN3 phenocopies chronic kidney disease and results in activation of the IGF2-JAK2 pathway in proximal tubular epithelial cells

        Fan Liang-Liang,Du Ran,Liu Ji-Shi,Jin Jie-Yuan,Wang Chen-Yu,Dong Yi,He Wan-Xia,Yan Ri-Qiang,Xiang Rong 생화학분자생물학회 2022 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.54 No.-

Reticulon 3 (RTN3) is an endoplasmic reticulum protein that has previously been shown to play roles in neurodegenerative diseases, but little is known about its function in the kidneys. The aim of the present study was to clarify the roles of RTN3 in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and kidney fibrosis. In this study, RTN3 levels were measured in kidney tissues from healthy controls and CKD or kidney fibrosis patients. An RTN3-null mouse model was generated to explore the pathophysiological roles of RTN3 in the kidneys. The underlying mechanisms were studied in primary proximal tubular epithelial cells and HEK293 cells in vitro. The results showed that (1) a reduction in RTN3 in mice induces CKD and kidney fibrosis; (2) decreased RTN3 expression is found in patients with CKD; (3) RTN3 plays critical roles in regulating collagen biosynthesis and mitochondrial function; and (4) mechanistically, RTN3 regulates these phenotypes by interacting with GC-Rich Promoter Binding Protein 1 (GPBP1), which activates the IGF2-JAK2-STAT3 pathway. Our study indicates that RTN3 might play crucial roles in CKD and kidney fibrosis and that a reduction in RTN3 in the kidneys might be a risk factor for CKD and kidney fibrosis.

Effect of Heat Treatment on the Lipophillic Pigments of Fresh Green Tea Liquor

        Jian-Liang Lu,Zhan-Bo Dong,Shun-Shun Pan,Chen Lin,Xin-Qiang Zheng,Borthakur Devajit,Yue-Rong Liang 한국식품과학회 2009 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.18 No.3

Changes in lipophillic pigments concentration and its relation to color of fresh green tea liquor during heat treatment were studied. The results showed liquor greenness decreased markedly with extension of incubation time at 55℃, while the brightness and yellowness changed a little. Significant increase in ‘a’ and ‘b’ values of tea liquor was observed at 95℃. Color change of liquor at 55℃ was accompanied by a decrease in the level of chlorophylls, lutein and neoxanthin, and an increase in the pheophytins and β-carotene levels. However, all pigments except β-carotene decreased with time extension at 95℃. Significant correlation was found between pigments and color difference index. The browning of fresh green tea liquor was attributed to vicissitudes of lipophillic pigments during heat treatment, especially to the change of chlorophylls/pheophytins ratio. Result also showed addition of Zn²? at 1.6 μ㏖/ℓ could partially alleviate the decrease in greenness during heat treatment.

Effects of Green Tea on Blood Pressure and Hypertension-induced Cardiovascular Damage in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rat

        Yue-Rong Liang,Shi-Cheng Ma,Xin-Qiang Zheng,Jing-Yi Xu,Ming-Yan Wu,Yi-Wen Luo,Xian-Yang Luo,Jian-Liang Lu 한국식품과학회 2011 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.20 No.1

Three groups of spontaneously hypertensive rats were administered by gavage with distilled water (control group), low-dose green tea (LGT, 0.2 g/kg BW·day) and high-dose green tea (HGT, 1.0 g/kg BW·day) for 4 weeks, during which systolic blood pressure (SBP) was measured weekly by non-invasive tail-cuff method. At the end of experiment, left ventricular hypertrophy index (LHVI) and plasma biochemical indicators were determined, and ultrastructures of myocardium and aortic vascular smooth muscle cells were observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that green tea gavage suppressed the increase in SBP, along with decline in levels of plasma nitric oxide, aldosterone, malondialdehyde, and LHVI, but increased levels of plasma creatinine, calcitonin gene-related peptide, and glutathione peroxidase in a dose dependant manner. Green tea had no effect on plasma total cholesterol. TEM shows that green tea gavage protected mitochondria of left ventricular myocardium and aortic vascular smooth muscle cells from damage.

Analysis of differential proteins in two different wing‐types of female Nilaparvata lugens

        An‐Wen Liang,Ting-Ting LIU,Zi-Qiang Liang,Fang-Hai Wang 한국곤충학회 2018 Entomological Research Vol.48 No.3

Nilaparvata lugens (stal) is a rice pest and contains long‐winged and short‐winged varieties, called the wing differentiation. This study compared the protein profiles of the two wing‐types in females and two wing‐disc types 5th‐instar females by two‐dimensional electrophoresis analysis. We detected 172 and 174 protein spots in adults and 5th‐instar nymphs, respectively. The number of proteins with higher content in the long‐winged (disc) individuals is much more than that in the short‐winged (disc) individuals. A total of 32 differential protein spots were found, of which 20 were successfully identified. Their main function is about catabolic process, fiber and nucleoside binding, and they constitute 52 protein–protein interactions, which is around the glycolysis as the core. These results enrich the research on the protein Level in wing development, and provide more references for future studies.

CpG methylated ribosomal RNA genes in relation to wing polymorphism in the rice pest Sogatella furcifera

        Shi-Ke Liang,Zi-Qiang Liang,Xiao-Sui Zhou,Jia-Lin Chen,Guang-Hong Li,Fang-Hai Wang 한국응용곤충학회 2015 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.18 No.3

Sogatella furcifera is amajor rice pest that exhibits wing dimorphism. The methylation-sensitive representational difference analysis (MS-RDA) is widely used in plants and some animals to identify methylation differences in genomic DNA regions. However the method has been applied to insects very less. The objective of the current research was tomonitor differential cytosine methylations at CCGG sequences inmacropterous and brachypterous adults of female S. furcifera to determine the association between gene methylation and wing phenotypes using MS-RDA. After the second subtractive hybridization, two differentially methylated DNA fragments were obtained. These DNA fragments were then cloned into the pGEM-T vector and sequenced. One fragment fromthe positive hybridization was 464 bp, and highly similar to the 18S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes from some animals. Another fragment from the reverse hybridization was 453 bp, and homologous to the 28S rRNA gene of S. furcifera with a similarity rate as high as 99%. These results provide potential evidence that DNA methylation of rRNA genes may be related to wing phenotype variations in S. furcifera, and will facilitate future studies on the epigenetic mechanisms of insect wing polymorphism.

Isolation of L-theanine from Tea Solution by Cation Exchange Resin in Batch and Fixed Bed Column

        Jian-Hui Ye,Yi-Wen Luo,Hui-Ling Liang,Jian-Liang Lu,Jing Jin,Yue-Rong Liang,Xin-Qiang Zheng,Xian-Yang Luo 한국생물공학회 2011 Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering Vol.16 No.2

L-Theanine, a bioactive compound in tea, was isolated from tea solution using cation exchange resin no.732. The adsorption of L-theanine by cation exchange resin no.732 fit the Langmuir isotherm model and was a monolayer molecular interaction process. Thermodynamic studies revealed that the adsorption of L-theanine by resin no.732 was an exothermic and spontaneous physically driven process. The adsorption capacity was influenced by temperature, initial concentration, and pH. The L-theanine adsorption capacity under conditions at room temperature,pH 4.73, and initial L-theanine concentration 18 g/L was 241.731 ± 3.679 mg/g. The Thomas model was fit to describe the column adsorption data at different flow rates and initial concentrations. The L-theanine adsorbed by resin no.732 could be desorbed by 0.134 mol/L Na2HPO4aqueous solution with a recovery rate of 84.96%. These findings indicate that resin no.732 was a promising material for isolating L-theanine from tea solution.

Research on Seismic Performance of Corrugated Steel Plate Shear Walls with Inelastic Buckling Subjected to Lateral Loads

        Qiang Cao,Jing Yu Huang,Dong-Zhou Wang,Liang Zhao,Zhe Wei Wu 한국강구조학회 2022 International Journal of Steel Structures Vol.22 No.3

The corrugated steel plate shear wall (CSPSW) with inelastic buckling of a corrugated steel plate (CSP) could restrict the elastic out-of-plane buckling of in-fi lled steel plates with appropriate CSPs, and lateral displacement could be restricted in the structures. So, the CSPSWs with inelastic buckling of CSPs could be applicable in high buildings or the structures with strict requirements of lateral displacement. This paper presents the research works on the seismic behaviour of the CSPSW with inelastic buckling of a corrugated steel plate. A numerical model was developed to simulate the seismic performance of the CSPSW with the inelastic buckling of the CSP, and the FE model was validated through experiment. Subsequently, parametric analyses were performed to investigate for the eff ects of those key parameters on the seismic behaviour of CSPSWs, such as the height—thickness ratio, aspect ratio, horizontal panel width, corrugation angle, initial imperfections, and surrounding frame stiff ness. The buckling and post buckling behaviour, failure modes, ductility and energy absorption capacity of the shear walls were discussed. The results reveal that the CSPSW show high strength, better ductility, and stable hysteretic characteristics. The failure modes of the CSPSWs with CSPs inelastic buckling are the failure of the tension fi eld strips along the along the diagonals in the whole CSPs. And the corners of CSPs in CSPs are weak parts, which should be strengthened in future designs. Besides these, the surrounding frame stiff ness should be greater than I c min to ensure energydissipating capacity and buckling capacity stability of CSPSWs.
