클래식 음악과 인형극을 통합한 음악회 모형 개발 및 효과 = Development of Concert Model by Integrating Classic Music and Puppet Show and Its Effect on Story Comprehension and Leit Motif Recognition

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was designed to develop an appropriate concert model for preschoolers and to evaluate its effect. Dept. of Early Childhood Education and Philharmonic Orchestra collaborated in developing a concert in which orchestra played the classic music, while college students played the puppet show in the same stage. <Peter and the Wolf> Op. 67 by Prokofiev was chosen because it has a story children like. College students majoring in Early Childhood Education developed a puppet show which went well with the music and the story.
125 4 and 5 year olds were read the musical story <Peter and the Wolf> in their kindergarten before attending the concert. They attended the concert in which a D Philharmonic Orchestra played the music and the college students played the puppet show on the same stage. The story comprehension of the preschoolers improved after attending the concert with the puppet show. 70-80% of the subjects recognized several leit motifs in the <Peter and the Wolf>, and 30-40% were able to connect the melody with the character. They recognized the melodies which were repeated often, and they were able to associate the character with the melody of the instrument which has a similar timbre with the character such as kettle drums. Preschoolers were more attentive to the movement and the talk of the character rather than music.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아들이 즐겁게 몰입할 수 있으며, 교육적인 음악회를 개발하여 그 효과를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 대학교 유아교육과 인형극팀과 시립교향악단이 협력하여 교향악단이 연주하는 음악과 함께 인형극을 관람할 수 있는 음악회를 개발하였다. 이야기가 있는 클래식 음악인 프로코피예프의 <피터와 늑대>를 선정하여 음악에 맞는 인형극을 제작하였다. 음악회 관람전 사전활동으로 기관에서 음악과 동화를 들려주었으며, 인상적인 장면을 그림으로 그리도록 한 후에 인형극과 함께 음악회를 관람하도록 하였다. 이야기와 관련된 부분은 이야기 이해도로 평가하였으며, 음악과 관련된 부분은 <피터와 늑대>에 반복적으로 나오는 고정선율 인식정도로 그 효과를 알아보았다. 음악회 관람 후 이야기 이해도가 높아졌으며, <피터와 늑대>에 나오는 고정선율을 인식하는 정도는 70-80%, 고정선율을 등장인물과 관련짓는 정도는 30-40% 정도였으며, 만 5세가 4세 집단보다 높았다.
