아동의 내현적 자기애, 우울, 사회적 지지와 또래관계문제

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 내현적 자기애, 우울, 사회적 지지의 정도에 따라 아동이 경험하는 또래관계문제의 차이와 이러한 3가지 변인이 상호작용하여 또래관계문제의 양상이 어떻게 달라지는 지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경상남도와 경기도 소재 초등학교 5, 6학년 아동 432명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 각 변인 간의 상관을 알아보고, 변인 점수를 근거로 나눈 상하 집단의 평균을 대인관계 원형공간에 나타내었으며, 프로파일 유형을 도출하기 위해 군집분석을 실시하였다. 도출한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애와 우울은 8개의 또래관계문제 영역과 유의미한 정적 상관, 사회적 지지와는 유의미한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 평균점수를 원형공간에 나타낸 결과 내현적 자기애가 높은 집단은 또래관계문제 중 BC(자기중심성), 낮은 집단은 JK(과순응), 우울이 높은 집단은 FG(사회적 억제), 낮은 집단은 LM(자기희생) 영역에 위치하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 사회적 지지의 높은 집단은 LM(자기희생), 낮은 집단은 FG(사회적 억제) 영역에 위치하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 군집분석을 통해 사회적 소외, 내현적 자기애, 사회적지지, 우울 유형으로 명명한 4가지 프로파일을 도출하였고, 각 프로파일은 8가지 또래관계문제에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 사회적 소외 유형이 또래관계문제가 가장 높았고, 내현적 자기애 유형과 우울 유형은 우울과 내현적 자기애 수준이 높은 집단이 경험하는 또래관계문제를 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 내현적 자기애와 우울이 낮고 사회적 지지를 많이 받은 사회적 지지 유형의 경우 또래관계문제를 가장 적게 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언과 시사점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study to examine the difference in children's problems of peer relationship depending on the level of three variables: covert narcissism, depression and social support. How these three variables interact with each other and affect the aspect of peer-relationship problem. A survey collected data from 432 5th and 6th grade elementary school students in Gyeongsangnam-do and Gyeonggi-do. We examined the correlation of each variables and represented the average score of high and low group which is divided by variable score in the circular space. In addition, we conducted cluster-analysis to draw profile type. The results are below: First, We found that the covert narcissism and depression have positive relation with eight peer relation section and have negative relation with social support. Covert narcissism represents positive relation with egocentrism sector, indifference in depression and social inhibition. In terms of social support, it shows negative relations with eight peer relationships. Second, as a result of presenting average score in the circular space, a group with high covert narcissism locate in BC sector, group with low covert narcissism experiences problem related with JK sector, group with high depression locate in FG sector, and the group with low depression locate in LM sector. A group with high social support locates in LM sector, and a group with low social support locates in FG sector. Third, we came up with final four cluster named: social alienation, covert narcissism, social support and depression. Each profile has significant difference in eight types of peer-relationship problems. Social alienation type experiences highest peer-relationship problems, covert narcissism type and depression type experiences peer-relationship problem that the group with high depression and covert narcissism experiences. In addition, social support type that has low covert narcissism and depression and high social support experiences the least peer-relationship problems. At the end, we discussed proposal and suggestion for the follow-up study.
