      • A Clustering Algorithm Based on Zone in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

        Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET) is a wireless mobile ad hoc networks established on the inter-vehicle communication. Due to the special characteristics and the restrictions of roads, VANET shows characteristics of uneven nodes density, fast moving, high dynamic topology. So it is difficult to establish a stable link between nodes, and the reliability of data transmission declines rapidly with the increase of hops. Therefore, ensuring data reliability and rapid distribution is always a difficult point in the VANET research. Through analysis of vehicular ad hoc networks environment, we propose the node connectivity and the connectivity strength. By dividing the road environment into the segment area and the intersection area, respectively calculating and predicting the connectivity according to the road environment, we propose the zone based adaptive clustering algorithm (ZACA).

        High SMAS face lift: clinical experience

        Background: The ultimate goal of facelift is to lift the sagging soft tissue as much as possible, so as to restore them to the original anatomical position for facial rejuvenation. Objective: In our High-SMAS facelift, the SMAS-platysma flap were tighten strongly, so as to obtain full and youthful facial morphologic characteristics. In addition, the effectiveness of high-SMAS was evaluated in this paper. Methods: A total of 86 cases of SMAS face lift were performed in 22 months from January 2015 to November 2016. High SMAS technique was applied in 39 cases of them. All the 39 patients were female averaged 44 (29-65) years old. Postoperative follow-up wascarried out in 18 cases for an average of 13 months (4-22 months). After the SMAS-platysma flap was dissected in the lower face and neck,the key point of operating is focus on:The middle temporal fascia and superficial temporal fascia flap was dissected carefully. Break off the ligaments medial to the zygomatic arch and on the malar process exactly, and pay attention to protect the facial nerve. So that the high-SMAS and even higher-SMAS flap can be dissected. Results: In all the 18 cases followed up, most (11/18) obtained a clear mandibular margin after operation and scored even full mark. Perfect nasolabial fold improvement was achieved in few (7/18). In terms of Ogee curve evaluation, most (15/18) made it to the level of “acceptable”, which was shared by the evaluation of lower eyelid shortening effects (13/18). Very satisfied indicators as follow: the obtuse jowl line becomes clear, midface “ogee curve” is vary from linear to curves, and the nasolabial sulcus have been improved. Conclusion: High-SMAS Facelift is one of the most effective rhytidectomy, the most prominent parts of its effect including the improvement of midface and jowl line contour. Level of Evidence: IV

        Dynamic Thermal Rating of Overhead Transmission Lines Based on GRAPES Numerical Weather Forecast

        Dynamic thermal rating technology can effectively improve the thermal load capacity of transmission lines. However, its availability is limited by the quantity and high cost of the hardware facilities. This paper proposes a new dynamic thermal rating technology based on global/regional assimilation and prediction system (GRAPES) and geographic information system (GIS). The paper will also explore the method of obtaining any point meteorological data along the transmission line by using GRAPES and GIS, and provide the strategy of extracting and decoding meteorological data. In this paper, the accuracy of numerical weather prediction was verified from the perspective of time and space. Also, the 750-kV transmission line in Shaanxi Province is considered as an example to analyze. The results of the study indicate that dynamic thermal rating based on GRAPES and GIS can fully excavate the line power potential without additional cost on hardware, which saves a lot of investment.

        Chlorogenic acid accumulation and related gene expression in peach fruit

        To reveal the molecular mechanism in the accumulation of chlorogenic acids (CGAs) in peach (Prunus persica) fruit during growth and development, CGA contents in the flesh of the three peach cultivars ‘Ruiguang 18’, ‘Heiyoutao’, and ‘Beijingyixianhong’ were determined. The expression levels of CGA metabolism-related genes were analyzed based on transcriptome data (RNA-seq). These candidate genes were then screened and real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) was performed to verify their expression. The results showed that the content of total CGAs, 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid and 3-O-caffeoylquinic acid, in the flesh of ‘Ruiguang 18’ exhibited a decreasing trend during fruit development, and there was a great drop at maturity stage (P < 0.05). The three contents in ‘Heiyoutao’ increased first at stage S2 (P < 0.05) and then decreased significantly (P < 0.05). In ‘Beijingyixianhong’, they stayed stable in the early stages, then total CGAs and 3-O-caffeoylquinic acid decreased significantly at the maturity stage (P < 0.05). RNA-seq transcriptome data analysis and qRT-PCR expression analysis showed that the accumulation of CGAs in fruit flesh was mainly affected by the expression of Prupe.3G100800 (PpHCT) and Prupe.3G107300 (Pp4CL), and their expression levels were highly consistent with total CGA content. Thus, we concluded that Prupe.3G100800 (PpHCT) and Prupe.3G107300 (Pp4CL) are the key genes for CGAs synthesis in peach flesh.

      • The structured multiparameter eigenvalue problems in finite element model updating problems

        The multiparameter eigenvalue method can be used to solve the damped finite element model updating problems. This method transforms the original problems into multiparameter eigenvalue problems. Comparing with the numerical methods based on various optimization methods, a big advantage of this method is that it can provide all possible choices of physical parameters. However, when solving the transformed singular multiparameter eigenvalue problem, the proposed method based on the generalised inverse of a singular matrix has some computational challenges and may fail. In this paper, more details on the transformation from the dynamic model updating problem to the multiparameter eigenvalue problem are presented and the structure of the transformed problem is also exposed. Based on this structure, the rigorous mathematical deduction gives the upper bound of the number of possible choices of the physical parameters, which confirms the singularity of the transformed multiparameter eigenvalue problem. More importantly, we present a row and column compression method to overcome the defect of the proposed numerical method based on the generalised inverse of a singular matrix. Also, two numerical experiments are presented to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of our method.

        Paeoniflorin reduces the inflammatory response of THP-1 cells by up‐regulating microRNA-124

        Background The activation of macrophages and the release of infammatory cytokines are the main reasons for the progress of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). MicroRNA (miRNA)-124 is involved in the regulation of macrophages and is a key regulator of infammation and immunity. Objective To explore whether paeoniforin (PF) regulates the biological functions of macrophages depends on miR-124. Methods RT-PCR, WB, ELISA, CCK-8 and fow cytometry were used to evaluate that PF regulated the biological functions of THP-1 cells through miR-124. Results PF signifcantly inhibited the proliferation while promotes the apoptosis of THP-1 cells, and inhibited the release of IL-6, TNF-α and IL-1βin THP-1 cells. RT-PCR results shown that PF up-regulated the expression of miR-124 in THP-1 cells. Functional recovery experiments showed that compared with the LPS+mimic-NC group, LPS+miR-124 mimic signifcantly inhibited the proliferation and the release of IL-6, TNF-α and IL-1β, but promoted the apoptosis of THP-1 cells. In addition, compared with the LPS+PF+inhibitor-NC group, LPS+PF+miR-124 inhibitor signifcantly promoted the proliferation and the release of IL-6, TNF-α and IL-1β, but inhibited the apoptosis of THP-1 cells. Conclusions By down-regulating miR-124, PF inhibits the proliferation and infammation of THP-1 cells, and promotes the apoptosis of THP-1 cells.

        As a result of mental health is gradually being valued when psychological illness such as depression gradually enter the public's field of vision, there is an increasing demand for high-quality and influential popular science articles on depression. However, the fact of uneven quality of online popular science articles on depression increase difficulty for the public to distinguish good one. The quality evaluation of popular science article can be regard as influence prediction. We construct a heterogeneous information network to integrate data from social platform and medical platform. And a heterogeneous graph neural network model based on the heterogeneous information network is proposed to predict the influence of popular science articles on depression. This research can help people select high-quality psychology popular science articles easily. It contributes to extend the influence scope of popular science articles and improve the mental health literacy of the whole people.

        Metagenomics analysis of the gut microbiome in healthy and bacterial pneumonia forest musk deer

        Background The forest musk deer (FMD, Moschus berezovskii) is an threatened species in China. Bacterial pneumonia was found to seriously restrict the development of FMD captive breeding. Historical evidence has demonstrated the relationship between immune system and intestinal Lactobacillus in FMD. Objective We sought to elucidate the diferences in the gut microbiota of healthy and bacterial pneumonia FMD. Methods The bacterial pneumonia FMD was demonstrated by bacterial and pathological diagnosis, and the gut microbiome of healthy and bacterial pneumonia FMD was sequenced and analysed. Results There are three pathogens (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus equinus and Trueperella pyogenes) isolated from the bacterial pneumonia FMD individuals. Compared with the healthy group, the abundance of Firmicutes and Proteobacteria in the pneumonia group was changed, and a high level of Proteobacteria was found in the pneumonia group. In addition, a higher abundance of Acinetobacter (p=0.01) was observed in the population of the pneumonia group compared with the healthy group. Several potentially harmful bacteria and disease-related KEGG subsystems were only found in the gut of the bacterial pneumonia group. Analysis of KEGG revealed that many genes related to type IV secretion system, type IV pilus, lipopolysaccharide export system, HTH-type transcriptional regulator/antitoxin MqsA, and ArsR family transcriptional regulator were signifcantly enriched in the metagenome of the bacterial pneumonia FMD. Conclusion Our results demonstrated that the gut microbiome was signifcantly altered in the bacterial pneumonia group. Overall, our research improves the understanding of the potential role of the gut microbiota in the FMD bacterial pneumonia.
