        Hongbo Yan,Yanling Wang,Xiaofeng Zhou,Likai Liang,Zhijun Yin,Wei Wang 한국정보처리학회 2019 Journal of information processing systems Vol.15 No.4

Dynamic thermal rating technology can effectively improve the thermal load capacity of transmission lines. However, its availability is limited by the quantity and high cost of the hardware facilities. This paper proposesa new dynamic thermal rating technology based on global/regional assimilation and prediction system(GRAPES) and geographic information system (GIS). The paper will also explore the method of obtaining anypoint meteorological data along the transmission line by using GRAPES and GIS, and provide the strategy ofextracting and decoding meteorological data. In this paper, the accuracy of numerical weather prediction wasverified from the perspective of time and space. Also, the 750-kV transmission line in Shaanxi Province isconsidered as an example to analyze. The results of the study indicate that dynamic thermal rating based onGRAPES and GIS can fully excavate the line power potential without additional cost on hardware, which savesa lot of investment.

Experimental Study and Fine-Tuned Simulation of Cable-Joint Pair Slipping in the Cable-Supported Structure

        Renzhang Yan,Chunling Yan,Shuai Wang,Chongsheng Cheng,Ting Liu,Hongbo Liu 한국강구조학회 2023 International Journal of Steel Structures Vol.23 No.1

During the tensioning process of the cable-supported structure, the sliding friction between cable wires and joint will have a great influence on the mechanical properties of the structure. However, due to the complex structure of the cable and the combined action of bending deformation and large pre-tension at the cable-strut joint, it is difficult to accurately determine the coefficient of sliding friction (CSF) between cable wires and joint, and thus the overall mechanical properties of the structure cannot be accurately evaluated. Based on the twisting characteristics of the cable, this paper establishes a friction-slip test model and a refined numerical model to carry out detailed study of the mechanical behavior of contact between cable wires and joint during the tensioning process. Firstly, combined with the calculation results of contact mechanics, it is finds that the stress distribution at straight and curved sections of the cable are non-uniform along its axis and each cross section, and the non-uniformity coefficient of the internal force distribution of the cable is further quantified. At the same time, the local bending of the cable will intensify the uneven stress distribution in the circumferential direction of the cable. The non-uniformity of stress reveals the contact working mechanism of the cable-joint pair. Then, the change of the prestress loss between cable wires and joint with the tensioning process is analyzed, and the parametric analysis is conducted to reveal the effect of the cable included angle, tensile force, and lay length on the CSF. The results find that the prestress loss increases approximately linearly with the increase of tension force and decreases with the increase of the cable included angle, but the CSF is less affected by the lay length during the tensioning process. Finally, a method for valuing the CSF of the cable-supported structure is developed.

Acetylation Enhances the Promoting Role of AIB1 in Breast Cancer Cell Proliferation

        Shan Yan,Dingyun You,Hongbo Zhao,Yan Wang,Yang Jiao,Minnan Lu 한국분자세포생물학회 2016 Molecules and cells Vol.39 No.9

The oncogene nuclear receptor coactivator amplified in breast cancer 1 (AIB1) is a transcriptional coactivator, which is overexpressed in various types of human cancers, including breast cancer. However, the molecular mechanisms regulating AIB1 function remain largely unknown. In this study, we present evidence demonstrating that AIB1 is acetylated by MOF in human breast cancer cells. Moreover, we also found that the acetylation of AIB1 enhances its function in promoting breast cancer cell proliferation. We further showed that the acetylation of AIB1 is required for its recruitment to E2F1 target genes by E2F1. More importantly, we found that the acetylation levels of AIB1 are greatly elevated in human breast cancer cells compared with that in non-cancerous cells. Collectively, our results shed light on the molecular mechanisms that regulate AIB1 function in breast cancer.

Study on Axial Compression Behavior of Cross-Shaped and L-Shaped Multi-cavity Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Special Shaped Column

        Hongbo Li,Yufei Tong,Jianguang Yin,Hubiao Zhang,Changyu Yan 한국강구조학회 2022 International Journal of Steel Structures Vol.22 No.1

Multi-cavity concrete-fi lled steel tube special shaped column (CFSTSSC) combines the excellent characteristics of multicavity steel tube and core concrete. CFSTSSC has the advantages of high bearing capacity, good ductility, and strong energy dissipation capacity. At present, accurate calculation methods for these kinds of structures are limited and research into crossshaped and L-shaped multi-cavity CFSTSSCs is not available. Therefore, the axial compression behavior of cross-shaped and L-shaped multi-cavity CFSTSSCs has been investigated, though experimental research and numerical simulation, in this study. First, axial compression tests were carried out on three cross-shaped and three L-shaped multi-cavity CFSTSSCs to analyze their failure modes, axial load-strain curve, ductility index, and ultimate bearing capacity. Then, fi nite element (FE) calculation models of cross-shaped and L-shaped multi-cavity CFSTSSCs were established. The FE models are in good agreement with the experimental results, which provides a foundation for further parameter analysis and failure mechanism study of special shaped columns. Finally, combining parameter analysis and limit equilibrium theory, equations for calculating the ultimate bearing capacity of cross-shaped and L-shaped multi-cavity CFSTSSCs were proposed. The results show that the error between the simplifi ed equation and the FE result is less than 15%, indicating that the equations can provide reference for practical engineering applications.

Combined transcriptome and proteome analyses reveal differences in the longissimus dorsi muscle between Kazakh cattle and Xinjiang brown cattle

        Yan, XiangMin,Wang, Jia,Li, Hongbo,Gao, Liang,Geng, Juan,Ma, Zhen,Liu, Jianming,Zhang, Jinshan,Xie, Penggui,Chen, Lei Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2021 Animal Bioscience Vol.34 No.9

Objective: With the rapid development of proteomics sequencing and RNA sequencing technology, multi-omics analysis has become a current research hotspot. Our previous study indicated that Xinjiang brown cattle have better meat quality than Kazakh cattle. In this study, Xinjiang brown cattle and Kazakh cattle were used as the research objects. Methods: Proteome sequencing and RNA sequencing technology were used to analyze the proteome and transcriptome of the longissimus dorsi muscle of the two breeds of adult steers (n = 3). Results: In this project, 22,677 transcripts and 1,874 proteins were identified through quantitative analysis of the transcriptome and proteome. By comparing the identified transcriptome and proteome, we found that 1,737 genes were identified at both the transcriptome and proteome levels. The results of the study revealed 12 differentially expressed genes and proteins: troponin I1, crystallin alpha B, cysteine, and glycine rich protein 3, phosphotriesterase-related, myosin-binding protein H, glutathione s-transferase mu 3, myosin light chain 3, nidogen 2, dihydropyrimidinase like 2, glutamate-oxaloacetic transaminase 1, receptor accessory protein 5, and aspartoacylase. We performed functional enrichment of these differentially expressed genes and proteins. The Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes results showed that these differentially expressed genes and proteins are enriched in the fatty acid degradation and histidine metabolism signaling pathways. We performed parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) verification of the differentially expressed proteins, and the PRM results were consistent with the sequencing results. Conclusion: Our study provided and identified the differentially expressed genes and proteins. In addition, identifying functional genes and proteins with important breeding value will provide genetic resources and technical support for the breeding and industrialization of new genetically modified beef cattle breeds.

Research on the Mechanism of Neutral-point Voltage Fluctuation and Capacitor Voltage Balancing Control Strategy of Three-phase Three-level T-type Inverter

        Yan, Gangui,Duan, Shuangming,Zhao, Shujian,Li, Gen,Wu, Wei,Li, Hongbo The Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers 2017 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.12 No.6

In order to solve the neutral-point voltage fluctuation problem of three-phase three-level T-type inverters (TPTLTIs), the unbalance characteristics of capacitor voltages under different switching states and the mechanism of neutral-point voltage fluctuation are revealed. Based on the mathematical model of a TPTLTI, a feed-forward voltage balancing control strategy of DC-link capacitor voltages error is proposed. The strategy generates a DC bias voltage using a capacitor voltage loop with a proportional integral (PI) controller. The proposed strategy can suppress the neutral-point voltage fluctuation effectively and improve the quality of output currents. The correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified through simulations. An experimental prototype of a TPTLTI based on Digital Signal Processor (DSP) is built. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified through experiment. The results from simulations and experiment match very well.

Design and Development of a Single-photon Laser and Infrared Common Aperture Optical System

        Wu Hongbo,Zhang Xin,Tan Shuanglong,Liu Mingxin,Wang Lingjie,Yan Lei,Liu Yang,Shi Guangwei 한국광학회 2022 Current Optics and Photonics Vol.6 No.2

A single-photon laser and mid-wave infrared (MWIR) common aperture optical system was designed and developed to detect and range a long-distance civil aviation aircraft. The secondary mirror of the Ritchey-Chretien (R-C) optical system was chosen as a dichroic lens to realize the design of a common aperture system for the laser and MWIR. Point spread function (PSF) ellipticity was introduced to evaluate the coupling efficiency of the laser receiving system. A small aperture stop and narrow filter were set in the secondary image plane and an afocal light path of the laser system, respectively, and the stray light suppression ability of the small aperture stop was verified by modeling and simulation. With high-precision manufacturing technology by single point diamond turning (SPDT) and a high-efficiency dichroic coating, the laser/MWIR common aperture optical system with a φ300 mm aluminum alloy mirror obtained images of buildings at a distance of 5 km with great quality. A civil aviation aircraft detection experiment was conducted. The results show that the common aperture system could detect and track long-distance civil aviation aircraft effectively, and the coverage was more than 450 km (signal-tonoise ratio = 6.3). It satisfied the application requirements for earlier warning and ranging of long-range targets in the area of aviation, aerospace and ground detection systems.

A new equivalent friction element for analysis of cable supported structures

        Renzhang Yan,Xiaodun Wang,Zhihua Chen,Hongbo Liu,Xiao Xiao 국제구조공학회 2015 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.18 No.4

An equivalent friction element is proposed to simulate the friction in cable-strut joints. Equivalent stiffness matrixes and load vectors of the friction element are derived and are unified into patterns for FEM by defining a virtual node specially to store internal forces. Three approaches are described to verify the rationality of the new equivalent friction element: applying the new element in a cable-roller model, and numerical solutions match well with experimental results; applying the element in a continuous sliding cable model, and theoretical values, numerical and experimental results are compared; and the last is applying it in truss string structures, whose results indicate that there would be a great error if the cable of cable supported structures is simulated with discontinuous cable model which is usually adopted in traditional finite element analysis, and that the prestress loss resulted from the friction in cable-strut joints would have adverse effect on the mechanical performance of cable supported structures.
