Currently, gut microbiota living in the gastrointestinaltract, plays an important role in regulatinghost’s sleep and circadian rhythms. As a tool, gut microbiotahas great potential for treating circadian disturbanceand circadian insomnia. However, the relationship betweengut microbiota and circadian rhythms is still unclear, andthe mechanism of action has still been the focus ofmicrobiome research. Therefore, this article summarizesthe current evidences associating gut microbiota with factorsthat impact host circadian rhythms neurology sleepdisorder. Moreover, we discuss the changes to these systemsin sleep disorder and the potential mechanism ofintestinal microbiota in regulating circadian rhythms neurologysleep disorder via microbial metabolites. Meanwhile,based on the role of intestinal flora, it is provided anovel insight into circadian related insomnia and will bebenefit the dietary treatment of circadian disturbance andthe circadian related insomnia.
Mutations of ARX and non-syndromic intellectual disability in Chinese population

Mutations of Aristaless-related homeobox (ARX) gene were looked as the third cause of non-syndromic intellectual disability (NSID), while the boundary between true disease-causing mutations and non-disease-causing variants within this gene remains elusive. To investigate the relationship between ARX mutations and NSID, a panel comprising six reported causal mutations of the ARX was detected in 369 sporadic NSID patients and 550 random participants in Chinese. Two mutations, c.428_451 dup and p.G286S, may be disease-causing mutations for NSID, while p.Q163R and p.P353L showed a great predictive value in female NSID diagnosis with significant associations (X2 = 19.60, p = 9.54e−6 for p.Q163R; X2 = 25.70, p = 4.00e−07 for p.P353L), carriers of these mutations had an increased risk of NSID of more than fourfold. Detection of this panel also predicted significant associations between genetic variants of the ARX gene and NSID (p = 3.73e−4). The present study emphasized the higher genetic burden of the ARX gene on NSID in the Chinese population, molecular analysis of this gene should be considered for patients presenting NSID of unknown etiology.

This paper, which takes the gardening view of "the harmony between heaven and human" in Chinese classical garden as the guiding concept, starts from the existing problems in the development of mountainous scenic areas. And then it takes the design scheme of Qianshan Ecological Scenic Spot in Anshan as an example to elaborate. Finally it provides a paradigm for the ecological development of the contemporary "Urban Forest" scenic spots - "Ecological Feedback Model", which lays a solid foundation for China's modern "Landscape City".

이 논문은 중국 고전원림 ‘천인합일’의 조원관을 가지고 산지 경구를 개발할 때의 발생하던 기존의 문제점을 지적하는 것에서부터 시작한다. 안산천산생태경구 설계방안의 예시로 상세히 서술한다. 마지막으로 ‘생태 반응 모델’이라는 당대 ‘도시 산림’관광지의 생태 개발을 위한 새로운 패러다임을 제시하여 중국 현대의 ‘자연 경관 도시’에 견실한 기초를 마련하였다. The low coupling coeffi cient (CC) of loosely coupled transformer (LCT) can greatly aff ect the effi ciency of inductive power transfer (IPT) system. In order to improve the coupling coeffi cient and misaligned tolerance of LCT, this paper proposes a transformer structure with multiple independent small receiving coils. Respectively in ideal alignment and misalignment mode, the distribution of magnetic force lines and the variation law of CC of independent small receiving coils are analyzed. According to the relationship between the coupling coeffi cient matrix and the mutual inductance, the eff ective coupling coeffi cient (ECC) is deduced, and its variation with the misalignment distance is also analyzed. The ECC of the LCT with multi-receiver (MR) structure is almost unchanged. For the multiple loads' characteristics of receivers, by adopting S/P compensated topology, a 500 W outputs prototype of IPT system is established. The experimental results show that the ECC is improved and tolerance performance to lateral and rotational misalignment of proposed MR structure has good characteristics.

The density, viscosity, and refractive index of a pure asymmetrical dicationic ionic liquid, 1-(1-methypiperidinium- 1-yl) pentane-(1-pyridinium) bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonamide, and its binary mixtures with acetonitrile were investigated at temperatures from 293.15 K to 323.15 K over the entire range of composition at ambient pressure. From the experimental data, the excess molar volumes, dynamic viscosity deviations, and refractive index deviations were, respectively,calculated and correlated with Redlich-Kister-type polynomials. The temperature dependence of viscosity for pure ionic liquid was described by modified Vogel-Tammann-Fulcher (VTF) equation. The enthalpy and entropy of activation for viscous flow were obtained. The values of molar refraction and polarizability indicated that the dominant interactions between ionic liquids and acetonitrile were dipole-dipole molecular interactions. These thermodynamic properties were discussed in terms of nature of molecular interactions between the ionic liquid and acetonitrile.
Identification of pathways and genes associated with cerebral palsy

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a non-progressive neurological disease, of which susceptibility is linked to genetic and environmental risk factors. More and more studies have shown that CP might be caused by multiple genetic factors, similar to other neurodevelopmental disorders. Due to the high genetic heterogeneity of CP, we focused on investigating related molecular pathways. Ten children with CP were collected for whole-exome sequencing by next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology. Customized processes were used to identify potential pathogenic pathways and variants. Three pathways (axon guidance, transmission across chemical synapses, protein–protein interactions at synapses) with twenty-three genes were identified to be highly correlated with CP. This study showed that the three pathways associated with CP might be the molecular mechanism of pathogenesis. These findings could provide useful clues for developing pathway-based pharmacotherapies. Further studies are required to confirm potential roles for these pathways in the pathogenesis of CP.
Parallel Gene Loss and Acquisition Among Strains of Different Brucella Species and Biovars

The genus Brucella is divided into six species; of these, B. melitensis and B. abortus are pathogenic to humans, and B. ovis and B. neotomae are nonpathogenic to humans. The definition of gene loss and acquisition is essential for understanding Brucella’s ecology, evolutionary history, and host relationships. A DNA microarray containing unique genes of B. melitensis Type strain 16MT and B. abortus 9-941 was constructed and used to determine the gene contents of the representative strains of Brucella. Phylogenetic relationships were inferred from sequences of housekeeping genes. Gene loss and acquisition of different Brucella species were inferred. A total of 214 genes were found to be differentially distributed,and 173 of them were clustered into 15 genomic islands (GIs). Evidence of horizontal gene transfer was observed for 10GIs. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the 19 strains formed five clades, and some of the GIs had been lost or acquired independently among the different lineages. The derivation of Brucella lineages is concomitant with the parallel loss or acquisition of GIs, indicating a complex interaction between various Brucella species and hosts.
Enhanced NOx Gas Sensing Performance Based on Indium-Doped Co(OH)2 Nanowire-Graphene Nanohybrids

"In this paper, the In(OH)3/Co(OH)2/rGO (ICG) nanohybrids have been synthesized via a simple reflux method. It was found that the nanostructures were actually composed of thin nanosheets or nanowires. The addition of indium in Co(OH)2 on rGO results in increase in the specific area of nanohybrids (105.7 m2 g-1 ). That enhanced the gas sensing responses to NOx compared with Co(OH)2/rGO significantly. The ICG nanohybrids with the mass ratio of 5:1 (ICG-5) exhibited excellent gas-sensing properties with low detection limit of 0.97 ppm and high sensitivity of 75.32% to 97 ppm NOx at room temperature (RT). The gas sensor also showed excellent selectivity to NOx when other common gases such as NH3, CO, C2H2 and H2 were present. The sensing mechanism could be attributed to the charge carrier concentration of Co(OH)2 greatly increased by indium doping, which at last encourages the electron transfer during the interaction with gases."
