Secure and Lightweight Authentication Protocol in Internet of Things

Yanlong Yang,Mengzhu Lu,Xiaohan Niu 한국멀티미디어학회 2023 The journal of multimedia information system Vol.10 No.3

The further development of Internet of things (IoT) makes the number of various terminal devices grow rapidly. At the same time, the amount of data collected and transmitted through terminal devices is also increasing. However, in the communication between devices and servers, most of them lack efficient identity authentication and encrypted communication mechanisms suitable for IoT environment. Therefore, in order to secure the communication between these devices and servers, they need to be protected by password technology. This paper proposes a secure communication protocol based on chaotic mapping algorithm, which is used to ensure the bidirectional identity authentication and data encryption between IoT devices and servers. The protocol is proved by Burrows Abadi Needham(BAN) logic, Scyther and informal security analysis that it satisfies the security and can resist various security attacks, and achieve anonymity and non-traceability. Finally, the performance comparison analysis with similar protocols shows that the proposed protocol significantly improves the security and has high efficiency.

Immunomodulatory Properties of Lactobacillus plantarum NC8 Expressing an Anti-CD11c Single-Chain Fv Fragment

( Jing Liu ),( Guilian Yang ),( Xing Gao ),( Zan Zhang ),( Yang Liu ),( Xin Yang ),( Chunwei Shi ),( Qiong Liu ),( Yanlong Jiang ),( Chunfeng Wang ) 한국미생물 · 생명공학회 2019 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.29 No.1

The lactic acid bacteria species Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) has been used extensively for vaccine delivery. Considering to the critical role of dendritic cells in stimulating host immune response, in this study, we constructed a novel CD11c-targeting L. plantarum strain with surface-displayed variable fragments of anti-CD11c, single-chain antibody (scFv-CD11c). The newly designed L. plantarum strain, named 409-aCD11c, could adhere and invade more efficiently to bone marrow-derived DCs (BMDCs) in vitro due to the specific interaction between scFv-CD11c and CD11c located on the surface of BMDCs. After incubation with BMDCs, the 409-aCD11c strain harboring a eukaryotic vector pValac-GFP could lead to more efficient expression of GFP compared with wild-type strains shown by flow cytometry analysis, indicating the enhanced translocation of pValac-GFP from L. plantarum to BMDCs. Similar results were also observed in an in vivo study, which showed that oral administration resulted in efficient expression of GFP in both Peyer’s patches (PP) and mesenteric lymph nodes (MLNs) within 7 days after the last administration. In addition, the CD11c-targeting strain significantly promoted the differentiation and maturation of DCs, the differentiation of IL-4+ and IL-17A+ T helper (Th) cells in MLNs, as well as production of B220+ IgA+ B cells in the PP. In conclusion, this study developed a novel DC-targeting L. plantarum strain which could increase the ability to deliver eukaryotic expression plasmid to host cells, indicating a promising approach for vaccine study.

Influence of δ' Phase with GP‑I Zones Fillings on Slip Behavior and Cold Rolling Texture in AA2099

        Xusheng Yang,Weijiu Huang,Xianghui Zhu,Fei Guo,Yanlong Ma,Linjiang Chai,Ran Zhang 대한금속·재료학회 2021 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.27 No.9

The cold rolling texture of AA2099 sheets was strongly influenced by the prior heat treatment. Two typical heat treatments, including solid solution (T4) and underaging (T6) were utilized to control slip behavior by different precipitates during coldrolling. A much weaker texture with an orientation scatter towards higher Φ angles was found in the as-rolled T6 specimen(T6R). Slip behavior was analyzed using geometry necessary boundaries distribution. Results show that the T6R specimenexperienced a strong co-planar slip compared to the as-rolled T4 specimen. Prosperity of co-planar slips and limitation ofco-direction slips were main reasons for the weakening of Copper texture component in the T6R specimen. The distinguishslip behavior was caused by existence of δ' phase with GP-I zones fillings in the T6 specimen. This phase could be easilysheared by dislocations and then promoted co-planar slips in further deformation.

      • Adaptive Synergetic Control about Attitude Tracking of Rigid Spacecraft with Disturbances and Parameter Uncertainties

Xuebo Yang,Yanlong Jia 제어로봇시스템학회 2015 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2015 No.10

This paper addresses the attitude tracking control problem for rigid spacecraft with parameter uncertainties and harmonic disturbances. In this technical note, synergetic optimization control method based on collaborative adaptive and modified Rodrigo parameters(MRP), studies the problem of rigid spacecraft attitude tracking control in the presence of uncertain disturbance. First of all, disturbance observer is constructed to estimate the frequency of online external interference signal, known then, a nonlinear adaptive collaborative optimization controller based on this disturbance observer is designed to track the target profile, and the controller need only modified Rodrigo parameters(MRP) feedback information and angular velocity. Secondly, by using Lyapunov analysis method, the global asymptotic stability of control system is proved. Finally, numerical simulation results for the rigid spacecraft show good performances, which validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed schemes.

Proteomic analysis of chicken peripheral blood mononuclear cells after infection by Newcastle disease virus

        Xiaoyu Deng,Yanlong Cong,Renfu Yin,Guilian Yang,Chan Ding,Shengqing Yu,Xiufan Liu,Chun-feng Wang,Zhuang Ding 대한수의학회 2014 JOURNAL OF VETERINARY SCIENCE Vol.15 No.4

Characteristic clinical manifestations of Newcastle diseaseinclude leukopenia and immunosuppression. Peripheral bloodmononuclear cells (PBMCs) are the main targets of Newcastledisease virus (NDV) infection. To survey changes in proteomicexpression in chicken PBMCs following NDV infection,PBMC proteins from 30 chickens were separated using twodimensionalelectrophoresis (2-DE) and subjected to massspectrometry analysis. Quantitative intensity analysis showedthat the expression of 78 proteins increased more thantwo-fold. Thirty-five proteins exhibited consistent changes inexpression and 13 were identified as unique proteins bymatrix assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight massspectrometer/mass spectrometer including three that weredown-regulated and 10 that were up-regulated. These proteinswere sorted into five groups based on function: macromolecularbiosynthesis, cytoskeleton organization, metabolism, stressresponses, and signal transduction. Furthermore, Westernblot analysis confirmed the down-regulation of integrin-linkedkinase expression and up-regulation of lamin A production. These data provide insight into the in vivo response of targetcells to NDV infection at the molecular level. Additionally, results from this study have helped elucidate the molecularpathogenesis of NDV and may facilitate the development ofnew antiviral therapies as well as innovative diagnostic methods.

Mycobacterium vaccae induces a strong Th1 response that subsequently declines in C57BL/6 mice

        Lijiao Zhang,Yanlong Jiang,Ziyin Cui,Wentao Yang,Limin Yue,Yingcong Ma,Shaohua Shi,Chun-fang Wang,Chun-feng Wang,Aidong Qian 대한수의학회 2016 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.17 No.4

Mycobacterium (M.) vaccae is a fast-growing species of saprophytic bacteria that is widely distributed. To understand the host immuneresponses induced by M. vaccae isolated from bovine submaxillary lymph nodes, C57BL/6 mice were infected with reference strain M. bovisBacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) and isolated M. vaccae using intraperitoneal injections. Comparison of the bacterial replication and organpathology between M. vaccae and M. bovis BCG revealed that M. vaccae was more malignant than M. bovis in mice. We also demonstratedthat serum from the M. vaccae-infected mice contained a higher expression level of gamma-interferon (IFN-), tumor necrosis factor alpha, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, interleukin (IL)-4, IL-12, IL-10 and transforming growth factor beta than did the other groups, especiallyafter week 4. Furthermore, when the numbers of CD3+CD4+IFN-+ and CD3+CD4+IL4+ cells in the infected mice were observed by flowcytometry, we found that a powerful T helper 1 (Th1) response was induced by M. vaccae infection, which was associated with the emergenceof CD3+CD4+IFN-+ cells. However, the Th1 response declined over time, which was associated with appearance of the CD4+CD25+FoxP3+and CD4+CD25+CD152+Treg cell reaction. In addition, a strong Th2 response was found. Finally, we found that M. vaccae infection increasedthe production of type I IFNs, which was associated with a reduced Th1 response.

Immunogenicity of recombinant Lactobacillus plantarum NC8 expressing goose parvovirus VP2 gene in BALB/c mice

        Yu-Ying Liu,Wentao Yang,Shaohua Shi,Ya-Jie Li,Liang Zhao,Chunwei Shi,Fangyu Zhou,Yanlong Jiang,Jingtao Hu,Wei Gu,Gui-Lian Yang,Chun-feng Wang 대한수의학회 2017 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.18 No.2

Goose parvovirus (GPV) continues to be a threat to goose farms and has significant economic effects on the production of geese. Current commercially available vaccines only rarely prevent GPV infection. In our study, Lactobacillus (L.) plantarum NC8 was selected as a vector to express the VP2 gene of GPV, and recombinant L. plantarum pSIP409-VP2/NC8 was successfully constructed. The molecular weight of the expressed recombinant protein was approximately 70 kDa. Mice were immunized with a 2 × 109 colony-forming unit/200 mL dose of the recombinant L. plantarum strain, and the ratios and numbers of CD11c+, CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD8+, and interferon gamma- and tumor necrosis factor alpha-expressing spleen lymphocytes in the pSIP409-VP2/NC8 group were higher than those in the control groups. In addition, we assessed the capacity of L. plantarum SIP409-VP2/NC8 to induce secretory IgA production. We conclude that administered pSIP409-VP2/NC8 leads to relatively extensive cellular responses. This study provides information on GPV infection and offers a clear framework of options available for GPV control strategies.

Surface-Displayed Porcine IFN-λ3 in Lactobacillus plantarum Inhibits Porcine Enteric Coronavirus Infection of Porcine Intestinal Epithelial Cells

        Yong-Shi Liu,Qiong Liu,Yanlong Jiang,Wentao Yang,Hai-Bin Huang,Chun-Wei Shi,Gui-Lian Yang,Chun-Feng Wang 한국미생물·생명공학회 2020 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.30 No.4

Interferon (IFN)-λ plays an essential role in mucosal cells which exhibit strong antiviral activity. Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) has substantial application potential in the food and medical industries because of its probiotic properties. Alphacoronaviruses, especially porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) and transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV), cause high morbidity and mortality in piglets resulting in economic loss. Co-infection by these two viruses is becoming increasingly frequent. Therefore, it is particularly important to develop a new drug to prevent diarrhea infected with mixed viruses in piglets. In this study, we first constructed an anchored expression vector with CWA (C-terminal cell wall anchor) on L. plantarum. Second, we constructed two recombinant L. plantarum strains that anchored IFN-λ3 via pgsA (N-terminal transmembrane anchor) and CWA. Third, we demonstrated that both recombinant strains possess strong antiviral effects against coronavirus infection in the intestinal porcine epithelial cell line J2 (IPEC-J2). However, recombinant L. plantarum with the CWA anchor exhibited a more powerful antiviral effect than recombinant L. plantarum with pgsA. Consistent with this finding, Lb.plantarum-pSIP-409-IFN- λ3-CWA enhanced the expression levels of IFN-stimulated genes (ISGs) (ISG15, OASL, and Mx1) in IPEC-J2 cells more than did recombinant Lb.plantarum-pSIP-409-pgsA'-IFN-λ3. Our study verifies that recombinant L. plantarum inhibits PEDV and TGEV infection in IPEC-J2 cells, which may offer great potential for use as a novel oral antiviral agent in therapeutic applications for combating porcine epidemic diarrhea and transmissible gastroenteritis. This study is the first to show that recombinant L. plantarum suppresses PEDV and TGEV infection of IPEC-J2 cells.
