Influence of Family Education on the Character Education among Adolescents

Yang Xinxin 사단법인 미래융합기술연구학회 2021 아시아태평양융합연구교류논문지 Vol.7 No.7

The primary and long-term characteristics of family education has an irreplaceable role in the growth process of adolescents, depicting one’s entire life. Adolescence is a critical period for character formation. This paper examines the influence of Chinese family education on the character education of young people, and provides relevant suggestions based on the findings. It adopted the literature analysis method to read, sort, analyze, and summarize various literatures. A questionnaire was distributed to and answered by a combined 200 selected junior and senior high school students and their parents in the different regions in China. The data collected and analyzed resulted to 88% of the students who believed that their parents' educational plans directly impact their character formation. Furthermore, 72% of parents believed that their family education methods for their children are not scientific. Based on previous research, the primary influencing factor of family education comes from the adolescent’s parents themselves. Therefore, establishing a "learning" family model and improving the parents' comprehensive quality is essential to the character education of the adolescents.

Improved Pupil-Size Diversity Technology for High-Resolution Imaging with Faint Objects

        Xinxin Yang,Ge Ren,Haotong Ma,Qi Peng,Yufeng Tan,Jihong Wang 한국물리학회 2020 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.76 No.1

        Phase aberration is one of the prime factors that degrade the quality of observed images. Pupil-size diversity technology (PSDT) is a newly developed post-processing method for aberration correction and image reconstruction. However, images reconstructed using PSDT suffer from massive grains when imaging astronomical faint objects, which extremely limits its further application. In this paper, we propose an improved PSDT with embedded denoising reprocessing to overcome this drawback. Diversity raw images, generated by modulating the size of the pupil, are firstly processed by blocking-matching and 3D filtering (BM3D), a state-of-art denoising algorithm. Then, the traditional PSDT can be employed to estimate the wavefront and reconstruct a high-resolution image. Both numerical simulations and experiment demonstrations show that our proposed strategy exhibits superior performance for aberrations correction and image restoration of faint objects in view of its efficiency and robustness. Being capable of realizing high-resolution imaging with faint objects, this proposed method may have important application prospects in the fields of astronomical object detection, remote sensing, \textit{etc.}

C-Reactive Protein Gene Variants in Depressive Symptoms & Antidepressants Efficacy

        Xinxin Li,Ning Sun,Chunxia Yang,Zhifen Liu,Xinrong Li,Kerang Zhang 대한신경정신의학회 2019 PSYCHIATRY INVESTIGATION Vol.16 No.12

Objective Although the pathogenesis of depression remains unclear, C-reactive protein (CRP) levels are commonly elevated in depressed patients. Thus, CRP single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) that influence CRP levels may be associated with depression. In the present study, we explored whether CRP SNPs are related to depressive symptoms and antidepressants efficacy in Han Chinese patients. Methods We analyzed data from 440 patients with first-episode depression. We obtained genome CRP SNPs, scores of the 17-item Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression 17 (HAMD17) and its four-factor at baseline and after 6 weeks. Quantitative trait analysis was performed using UNPHASED software and curative effects were analyzed using SPSS software. Results Male patients with SNP rs1800947G exhibited lower insomnia scores and rs2794521CC exhibited lower scores of anxiety/ physical symptoms, total HAMD17 score. Female patients with rs2794521TT exhibited higher scores of insomnia and lower antidepressants efficacy. Conclusion CRP SNPs rs1800947 and rs2794521 may be associated with depressive symptoms in patients with depression in a sex-specific fashion. Furthermore, rs2794521 may be a predictor of the efficacy of antidepressants in female patients.

Resveratrol Exerts Dosage-Dependent Effects on the Self-Renewal and Neural Differentiation of hUC-MSCs

        Wang, Xinxin,Ma, Shanshan,Meng, Nan,Yao, Ning,Zhang, Kun,Li, Qinghua,Zhang, Yanting,Xing, Qu,Han, Kang,Song, Jishi,Yang, Bo,Guan, Fangxia Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology 2016 Molecules and cells Vol.39 No.5

Resveratrol (RES) plays a critical role in the fate of cells and longevity of animals via activation of the sirtuins1 (SIRT1) gene. In the present study, we intend to investigate whether RES could promote the self-renewal and neural-lineage differentiation in human umbilical cord derived MSCs (hUC-MSCs) in vitro at concentrations ranging from 0.1 to $10{\mu}M$, and whether it exerts the effects by modulating the SIRT1 signaling. Herein, we demonstrated that RES at the concentrations of 0.1, 1 and $2.5{\mu}M$ could promote cell viability and proliferation, mitigate senescence and induce expression of SIRT1 and Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA) while inhibit the expression of p53 and p16. However, the effects were reversed by 5 and $10{\mu}M$ of RES. Furthermore, RES could promote neural differentiation in a dose-dependent manner as evidenced by morphological changes and expression of neural markers (Nestin, ${\beta}III-tubulin$ and NSE), as well as pro-neural transcription factors Neurogenin (Ngn)1, Ngn2 and Mash1. Taken together, RES exerts a dosage-dependent effect on the self-renewal and neural differentiation of hUC-MSCs via SIRT1 signaling. The current study provides a new strategy to regulate the fate of hUC-MSCs and suggests a more favorable in vitro cell culture conditions for hUCMSCs-based therapies for some intractable neurological disorders.

      • A Big-Data-Based Urban Flood Defense Decision Support System

Taimeng Yang,Guanlin Chen,Xinxin Sun 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.9 No.12

As cities in developing countries are expanding rapidly in recent years, flood has an increasing impact on urban management. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of an urban flood defense decision support system based on big data. The system connects real-time sensor to collect streaming data, and uses a data-driven method that considers temporal and spatial factors to forecast water level in the next 6 hours. Thus, it can provide enough time for the authorities to take pertinent flood protection measures such as evacuation. Our predictive model is a hybrid of linear regression and artificial neural network, and can give early warning of potential flood using the forecast results. The system is implemented on Java EE platform, and integrated with Baidu Maps API to provide a user-friendly interface.

Comparative Study of Two Common In Vitro Models for the Pancreatic Islet with MIN6

        Chao Xinxin,Zhao Furong,Hu Jiawei,Yu Yanrong,Xie Renjian,Zhong Jianing,Huang Miao,Zeng Tai,Yang Hui,Luo Dan,Peng Weijie 한국조직공학과 재생의학회 2023 조직공학과 재생의학 Vol.20 No.1

BACKGROUND: Islet transplantation is currently considered the most promising method for treating insulin-dependent diabetes. The two most-studied artificial islets are alginate-encapsulated b cells or b cell spheroids. As three-dimensional (3D) models, both artificial islets have better insulin secretory functions and transplantation efficiencies than cells in twodimensional (2D) monolayer culture. However, the effects of these two methods have not been compared yet. Therefore, in this study, cells from the mouse islet b cell line Min6 were constructed as scaffold-free spheroids or alginate-encapsulated dispersed cells. METHODS: MIN6 cell spheroids were prepared by using Agarose-base microwell arrays. The insulin secretion level was determined by mouse insulin ELISA kit, and the gene and protein expression status of the MIN6 were performed by Quantitative polymerase chain reaction and immunoblot, respectively. RESULTS: Both 3D cultures effectively promoted the proliferation and glucose-stimulated insulin release (GSIS) of MIN6 cells compared to 2D adherent cells. Furthermore, 1% alginate-encapsulated MIN6 cells demonstrated more significant effects than the spheroids. In general, three pancreatic genes were expressed at higher levels in response to the 3D culture than to the 2D culture, and pancreatic/duodenal homeobox-1 (PDX1) expression was higher in the cells encapsulated in 1% alginate than that in the spheroids. A western blot analysis showed that 1% alginate-encapsulated MIN6 cells activated the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)/serine/threonine protein kinase (AKT)/forkhead transcription factor FKHR (FoxO1) pathway more than the spheroids, 0.5% alginate-, or 2% alginate-encapsulated cells did. The 3D MIN6 culture, therefore, showed improved effects compared to the 2D culture, and the 1% alginate-encapsulated MIN6 cells exhibited better effects than the spheroids. The upregulation of PDX1 expression through the activation of the PI3K/AKT/FoxO1 pathway may mediate the improved cell proliferation and GSIS in 1% alginate-encapsulated MIN6 cells. CONCLUSION: This study may contribute to the construction of in vitro culture systems for pancreatic islets to meet clinical requirements.

H-Infinity Shifting Control in a Dual-Speed Transmission for Electric Vehicle

        Tan Senqi,Yang Jue,Khajepour Amir,Zhao Xinxin,Yu Wenhao 한국자동차공학회 2021 International journal of automotive technology Vol.22 No.1

To improve the economic and comfort performance of pure electric vehicles (PEV), this paper proposes a novel H-infinity gear-shifting controller for dual-speed Transmissions (DST) to achieve a smooth and swift shifting when considering uncertain disturbances in system. Firstly, the structure as well as the working principle of the DST for PEV are introduced briefly and the mathematical model of the transmission is derived according to the Lagrange equation. Then the gear-shifting process is analyzed and the control problem is formulated according to the clutch status. Next, a robust Hinfinity controller is proposed to attenuate the vehicle jerk as well as the clutch sliding energy loss. Simulation results under different working conditions indicate the controller presented have better performance in limiting the effect of unknown external disturbances comparing to a calibrated proportional-integral derivative (PID) controller.

GelMA-based bioactive hydrogel scaffolds with multiple bone defect repair functions: Therapeutic strategies and recent advances

        Bixia Zhou,Xulei Jiang,Xinxin Zhou,Wuyuan Tan,Hang Luo,Shaorong Lei,Ying Yang 한국생체재료학회 2023 생체재료학회지 Vol.27 No.00

Currently, the clinical treatment of critical bone defects attributed to various causes remains a great challenge, and repairing these defects with synthetic bone substitutes is the most common strategy. In general, tissue engineering materials that mimic the structural, mechanical and biological properties of natural bone have been extensively applied to fill bone defects and promote in situ bone regeneration. Hydrogels with extracellular matrix (ECM)-like properties are common tissue engineering materials, among which methacrylate-based gelatin (GelMA) hydrogels are widely used because of their tunable mechanical properties, excellent photocrosslinking capability and good biocompatibility. Owing to their lack of osteogenic activity, however, GelMA hydrogels are combined with other types of materials with osteogenic activities to improve the osteogenic capability of the current composites. There are three main aspects to consider when enhancing the bone regenerative performance of composite materials: osteoconductivity, vascularization and osteoinduction. Bioceramics, bioglass, biomimetic scaffolds, inorganic ions, bionic periosteum, growth factors and two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials have been applied in various combinations to achieve enhanced osteogenic and bone regeneration activities. Three-dimensional (3D)-bioprinted scaffolds are a popular research topic in bone tissue engineering (BTE), and printed and customized scaffolds are suitable for restoring large irregular bone defects due to their shape and structural tunability, enhanced mechanical properties, and good biocompatibility. Herein, the recent progress in research on GelMA-based composite hydrogel scaffolds as multifunctional platforms for restoring critical bone defects in plastic or orthopedic clinics is systematically reviewed and summarized. These strategies pave the way for the design of biomimetic bone substitutes for effective bone reconstruction with good biosafety.

      • Multiparty Access Control of Ciphertext Sharing in Cloud-Based Online Social Networks

Huang Qinlong,Ma Zhaofeng,Yang Yixian,Niu Xinxin 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.12

Although current online social networks (OSNs) schemes propose to encrypt data before sharing, the enforcement of access policies over encrypted data has become a challenging task, and the OSNs currently do not provide any mechanism to allow users to update access policies. In this paper, we propose a ciphertext sharing scheme in cloud-based OSNs, which allows the users to outsource encrypted data to the OSNs service provider for sharing. In order to meet the authorization requirement, we present a multiparty access control model based on ciphertext-policy attribute-based proxy re-encryption, which enables the access control of encrypted data associated with multiple users. On the basis of ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption, the owners can customize the access policy of their own data. Based on proxy re-encryption, the disseminators such as friends and group members can further customize the access policy of the owners’ data upon existing access policy. Besides, we achieve immediate user revocation based on secret sharing without issuing new attribute secret keys to unrevoked users. The security and performance analysis show that our proposed scheme is secure, efficient and practical.
