This study evaluated the antimicrobial activities [diffusion inhibition zone, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), and minimum bactericidal concentration], of heated ginseng extracts (ethanol and methanol). The extract yields, ginsenoside compositions, growth inhibitory effects against Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus aureus and bacterial cell membrane potential changes, were also investigated. Methanol extracts of heated ginseng, showed higher antimicrobial activity than ethanol extracts. B. cereus was more easily inhibited than S. aureus. Ginseng heated at $100^{\circ}C$ for 2 and 16 h, showed maximum antimicrobial activity against B. cereus and S. aureus, respectively. In the growth inhibitory test, S. aureus and B. cereus were completely inhibited after 2 and 8 h culture at the MIC. The cell membrane potential decreased with increasing concentration of extract, indicating cell metabolism disruption. Ginsenosides $Rg_3$, a potent antibacterial substance, which were absent in non-heated ginseng, were produced by heating ginseng at $100^{\circ}C$ for 4 and 8 h, respectively.
대기업 근로자가 인식한 조직변화태도와 긍정심리자본, 학습지원환경 및 상사의 변혁적 리더십의 관계

이 연구의 목적은 국내 대기업 근로자가 인식한 조직변화태도, 긍정심리자본, 학습지원환경 및 상사의 변혁적 리더십의 관계를 구명하는데 있다. 이 연구의 모집단은 우리나라 대기업 근로자이다. 이 연구의 자료조사는 설문지를 활용하였으며, 253명의 응답자 중 240명의 데이터를 분석대상으로 하였다. 주 효과 및 조절 검증을 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 첫째, 대기업 근로자가 인식한 긍정심리자본은 조직변화태도에 유의한 영향력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 학습지원환경은 조직변화태도에 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 긍정심리자본과 조직변화태도의 관계에서 상사의 변혁적 리더십은 조절효과를 보이지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 긍정심리자본이 기질적 특성이 강하고, 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 선행변인으로 작용했음을 시사한다. 셋째, 학습지원환경과 조직변화태도의 관계에서 상사의 변혁적 리더십은 조절효과를 보이고 있었다. 연구 결과에 대한 논의와 결론을 토대로 이론적, 실천적 시사점을 제언하였다. The purpose of this study was to identify a causal relationship among attitude toward organizational change, positive psychological capital, supportive learning environment, supervisor`s transformational leadership of employees in large corporations. The data was collected total 253 out of 240 questionaries were used for analysis. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used the relationship among variables. The finding of the study were as follows. First, the positive psychological capital had an statistically significant effect on attitude toward organizational change. The supportive learning environment had an statistically significant effect on attitude toward organizational change. However, learning supporting system haven`t an statistically significant effect on attitude toward organizational change. Third, supervisor`s transformational leadership did not moderate the relationship between positive psychological capital and attitudes toward organizational change. It`s positive psychological capital shows the trait-like, and supervisor`s transformational leadership should be considered as a antecedent variable. Fourth, supervisor`s transformational leadership moderated the relationship between supportive learning environment and attitudes toward organizational change. Based on the findings of the study, the major conclusion and some recommendations for future research and HRD fields were suggested.

Purpose: Human corneal endothelial progenitor cells (HCEPs), which has been selectively isolated and differentiated into human corneal endothelial cells (HCECs), are crucial for repairing corneal endothelial damage. In this study, we evaluated the roles of a Rho-assisted kinase (ROCK) inhibitor, Y-27632, on the isolation and expansion of HCEPs, and assessed the in vitro effects of different concentrations of Y-27632 on the differentiated HCEPs. Methods: HCEPs were isolated and expanded in a medium with and without 10μM Y-27632, and then differentiated into HCECs in a medium with fetal bovine serum. The characteristics of HCEPs and differentiated HCEPs were confirmed by immunofluorescence staining. The proliferation, viability, morphology, and wound-healing ability of differentiated HCEPs were assessed in the presence of different concentrations of Y-27632. Results: Y-27632 enabled the isolation and expansion of HCEPs from the corneal endothelium. The differentiated HCEPs showed an optimal increase in proliferation and survival in the presence of 10μM Y-27632. As the concentration of Y-27632 increased, differentiated HCEPs became elongated, and actin filaments were redistributed to the periphery of cells. Y-27632 also caused a concentration-dependent enhancement in the wound-healing ability of differentiated HCEPs. Conclusions: Y-27632 enabled the isolation and expansion of HCEPs. It also enhanced the proliferation, viability, and migration of differentiated HCEPs.
직소모형 협동학습이 예비유아교사의 의사소통능력과 메타인지 및 자기효능감에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 직소모형 협동학습이 예비유아교사의 의사소통능력과 메타인지 및 자기효능감에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 소재 4년제 대학교 유아교육학과에서 2023년 1학기 유아교육과정 수업을 수강한 45명의 예비유아교사들이다. 이들을 대상으로 직소모형 협동학습을 실시하기 전과 후에 의사소통능력, 메타인지, 자기효능감 검사를 실시하였으며, SPSSWIN 25.0 통계 패키지를 활용하여 기술통계, 대응표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 또한 질적 자료인 자기주도 성찰일지를 분석하여 결과를 보다 구체적으로 뒷받침하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 직소모형 협동학습은 의사소통능력 증진과 하위요인 모두를 긍정적으로 향상하는 데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 직소모형 협동학습은 메타인지 중 선언적 지식을 제외한 하위요인들과 메타인지 전체의 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 직소모형 협동학습은 자신감을 제외한 하위요인들과 자기효능감 전체의 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 직소모형 협동학습이 예비유아교사의 의사소통능력과 메타인지 및 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치므로 예비유아교사 양성과정에서 적극적으로 활용될 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다. This study aimed to verify the effect of jigsaw model cooperative learning on the communication ability, metacognition, and self-efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers. The participants were 45 pre-service early childhood teachers who took early childhood curriculum classes in the first semester of 2023 at the Department of Early Childhood Education at a four-year University in Gyeonggi-do. Their communication ability, metacognition, and self-efficacy were tested before and after conducting jigsaw model cooperative learning. Researchers performed descriptive statistics and corresponding sample t verification using SPSSWIN 25.0 and supported the results, more specifically, by analyzing their self-directed reflection journals as qualitative data. The results of the study were as follows. First, jigsaw model cooperative learning improved communication ability and positively impacted its sub-factors. Second, it had a positive effect on the improvement of overall metacognition and its sub-factors, except for declarative knowledge. Third, of it had a positive effect on overall self-efficacy and its subfactors, except for confidence. These results suggest that jigsaw model cooperative learning has a significant impact on the communication ability, metacognition, and self-efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers and; thus needs to be actively used in their training course.

Objective-Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is frequently associated with psychiatric symptoms and cognitive dysfunction, as well as with the receipt of workers’ compensation, as many mTBIs occur due to work-related accidents. We hypothesized that depression and insufficient cognitive effort mediate the relationship between sociodemographic variables and cognitive dysfunction in mTBI. Methods-A retrospective chart review study was conducted using 115 records of patients with mTBI. Cognitive effort was measured based on scores on the Rey 15-Item Test. Multivariate linear regression analysis was performed to examine factors predictive of cognitive functions. Path analysis was subsequently performed to investigate the mediating effects of depression and cognitive effort in relation to receipt of workers’ compensation and demographic variables. Results-Fifteen of the 115 participants (13.0%) received failing scores on the Rey 15-Item Test, which indicated insufficient cognitive effort. Path analysis indicated that cognitive effort mediated the effects of age and workers’ compensation on cognitive functions. Conclusion-Given the significant mediating effects of cognitive effort on cognitive performance, it is important to address patient motivation and encourage mTBI patients covered by workers’ compensation to perform tests with authentic effort.
