        동맥혈 채혈후 시간 경과 및 온도 변화가 가스분압 및 PH 에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Blood gas samples are highly susceptible to preanalytic error due to improper methods of obtaining or handling the sample prior to delivery to the laboratory. The errors in the measurement of blood gas analysis are currently derived from the exposure of sample to atmosphere, effects of anticoagulant itself, temperature difference between the measuring electrode and drawn blood and the delay in running the sample. To study the effects of the delay in measuring the sample and the temperature difference between the measuring electrode and drawn blood on values of blood gases and pH, we analyzed the arterial sampling from the 24 patients who were taking elective surgery or on his/her recovery period with indwelling arterial catheter. The plastic sampling syringes were kept at 4。C (refrigerator) or 22。-24。C (room temperature) and analyzed at regular intervals (1, 10, 30, 60,120 min) for 120 minutes. The following results were obtained: 1) When the arterial blood drawn from the anesthetized patients were stored 4。C, partial pressure of oxygen (PaO₂) decreased significantly after 20 min, whereas those stored at room temperature decreased significantly after 10 min. 2) When the arterial blood drawn from the recovery patients were stored at 4。C, PaO₂ did not decrease significantly through the experimental period of 120 min. Although those stored at room temperature did not decrease significantly through the period of 120 min. 3) Partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the arterial blood (PaCO₂,) drawn from the anesthetized patients increased significantly by 120 min. at 4。C, whereas those at room temperature increased significantly after 20 min. 4) PaCO₂, of the recovery patients increased signigicantly by 120 min. at 4。C, whereas those at room temperature increased significantly after 30 min. 5) pH of the arterial blood drawn from either anesthetized or recovery patients decreased significantly by 120 min. at 4。C, whereas those at room temperature decreased significantly after 60 min. 6) No significant changes al oxygen saturation (SaO₂) and content (CaO₂) were noted in either anesthetized or recovery. patients in accordance with time elapsed at 4。C or room temperature. In summary, as the changes of PO₂ in particular higher than physiologic PO₂ and PCO₂ in the arterial blood stored at room temperature are significant in accordance with the delay in measuring, it would be advisable to analyze the sample in a short period of time or to store it in a cool place when the measuring will be delayed.

        과열증기처리 반탄화 추출물의 항산화 효과 검증에 관한 연구

        The antioxidant properties of the extracts from torrefied wood subjected to superheated steam treatment were investigated. Total polyphenolics, total flavonoids, DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) free radical scavenging activity, reducing power, and FRAP (Ferric reducing antioxidant power) were determined to evaluate antioxidant activity. The total polyphenol content was 879.67±40.41 ㎎/mL at a concentration of 25 g/mL when the extract was subjected to a temperature of 300℃ for 10 min, and 759.67±25.17 ㎎/mL at a concentration of 25 g/mL at 350℃ for 10 min. The value of at 300℃ was 15.79% higher than that obtained at 350℃. Total flavonoid content was 111.18±3.55 ㎎/mL at a concentration of 25 g/mL at 300℃ for 10 min, and 80.58±2.58 ㎎/mL at a concentration of 25 g/mL at 350℃ for 10 min. The value at 300℃ was 37.97% higher than that obtained at 350℃. For the DPPH free radical scavenging activity, the highest scavenging activity was observed at a concentration of 6 g/mL. DPPH free radical scavenging activity at a concentration of 6 g/mL at 300℃ for 10 min was 89.83±0.03%, whereas at 350℃ for 10 min at the same concentration, it was found to be 87.99±0.1%. The value at 300℃ was 2.09% higher than that obtained at 350℃. Reducing power was determined to be 3.59±0.04 at a concentration of 25 g/mL at 300℃ for 10 min, and 2.92±0.1 at a concentration of 25 g/mL at 350℃ for 10 min. The value at 300℃ was 22.94% higher than that obtained at 350℃. FRAP was 1742±37 μM at a concentration of 25 g/mL at 300℃ for 10 min, and 1106±8 μM at a at 350℃ for 10 min. At 300℃, the FRAP value was 57.50% higher than that obtained at 350℃. Based on these results, we suggest that torrefied wood treated with superheated steam can be used in various applications because of its effective antioxidant properties.

        레미콘 슬러지를 이용한 불소제거

        본 연구의 목적은 칼슘염을 함유한 레미콘 슬러지를 이용하여 불소함유폐수를 물에 난용성인 CaF₂ 화합물 형태로 침전시켜 처리하는데 있어 pH, 레미콘슬러지 주입량, Seed물질 주입량, 교반속도, 교반시간의 최적 조건을 도출하고자 하는데 있다. 실험결과 레미콘 슬러지를 이용한 대상폐수의 CaF₂ 침전 반응에서 함수율 및 불소의 제거효율 등을 고려할 경우 최적의 pH 6, 레미콘 슬러지 주입량은 10 g/L, Seed 물질 주입량은 2 g/L, 교반속도은 100 rpm, 교반시간은 60 min으로 관찰되었다. 이 때 Seed 물질의 주입은 불소제거효율에는 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났지만 침전물의 형성이 되는 반응을 촉진시키고 플럭형성을 원활하게 하여 고액 분리가 잘 되어 함수율이 낮아지는 결과가 나타났다. The purpose of this study was performed to investigate the optimum conditions of pH, concrete sludge, seed dosage, mixing intensity, operation time in treating fluoride-containing wastewater as CaF₂ using the ready-mixed concrete sludge. Considering fluoride removal, water content, that pH 6, concrete sludge dosage of 10 g/L, Seed dosage (CaF₂) of 2 g/L, mixing intensity of 100 rpm and operation time of 60 min were found to be optimum. Correspondingly, removal of fluoride and water content was about 85% and 64%, respectively. Increase in amount of seed dosage did not affect fluoride removal efficiency. but the result that the water content is decreased was shown up in occuring the solid-liquid separation well.

      • P278 : Nonablative fractional laser as a tool to facilitate skin penetration of 5-aminolevulinic acid with minimal skin disruption

        Background: Effective penetration of photosensitizer is an essential step in photodynamic therapy (PDT). There have been trials of several methods, including laser treatment, to facilitate prompt and sufficiently deep transdermal drug delivery. Objectives: This study was performed to evaluate the effects of nonablative fractional laser pretreatment on aminolevulinic acid (ALA) penetration of the skin. Methods: Twelve identical treatment areas of 1 × 1 cm2 on the backs of 10 healthy male subjects were mapped. Each area received laser treatment with a different energy and incubation with ALA for different times. Laser treatment was performed with a 1550 nm fractional erbium glass laser, and the laser energy was set to 20 and 50 mJ with a spot density of 50/cm2. ALA incubation time was set to 30, 60, or 180 min. Porphyrin fluorescence was measured. Results: Nonablative fractional laser-pretreated areas showed significantly increased porphyrin fluorescence compared to non-pretreated areas. Laser energy strength and ALA incubation time were positively correlated with ALA absorption. Conclusion: Nonablative fractional laser treatment effectively enhanced ALA skin penetration. Pretreatment with a nonablative fractional laser can be used for ALA-PDT to achieve higher therapeutic efficacy and shortened ALA incubation times with minimal skin barrier disruption compared to ablative laser.

        수확 후 산채류의 미생물 제어를 위한 이산화염소수와 유기산 및 Blanching 병합 처리

        수확 후 산채류의 미생물학적 안전성을 확보하기 위해 선정된 산채류인 취나물과 곤드레에 이산화염소수와 유기산 용액 병합 처리 및 이산화염소수, 유기산 용액, blanching 병합처리 후 미생물 제어 효과를 비교 분석하였다. 50 ppm 이산화염소수와 0.5% citric acid 용액의 병합 처리는 취나물과 곤드레의 총 호기성 세균 수를 2.80~3.64 log CFU/g, 효모 및 곰팡이 수는 2.02~2.67 log CFU/g 감소시켰다. 50 ppm이산화염소수와 0.5% fumaric acid 용액의 병합 처리 후 총 호기성 세균 수는 대조구와 비교하여 3.62~3.82 log CFU/g 감소하였으며, 효모 및 곰팡이의 경우에는 2.47~3.02 log CFU/g 만큼 감소하여 이산화염소수와 citric acid 용액의 병합 처리보다 fumaric acid 용액과의 병합 처리가 더 효과적인 병합 처리 조건이라고 생각된다. 이산화염소수와 fumaric acid 병합 처리 후 blanching 처리된 취나물의 총 호기성 세균 수는 대조구보다 5.12 log CFU/g 더 낮게 검출되었으며, 효모 및 곰팡이는 검출되지 않았다. 곤드레의 경우에도 효모 및 곰팡이는 검출되지 않았으며, 총 호기성 세균 수는 대조구와 비교하여 4.59 log CFU/ g 감소하였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과 이산화염소수와 유기산 용액 전처리 후 blanching 병합 처리가 산채류의 미생물학적 안전성을 확보하는 가장 효과적인 방법이라고 판단된다. To improve the microbiological safety of wild vegetables after harvest, Aster scaber and Cirsium setidens Nakai were treated with combinations of 50 ppm aqueous chlorine dioxide (ClO₂)/0.5% citric acid or fumaric acid, and 50 ppm ClO₂/0.5% fumaric acid/blanching at 90°C for 2 min. Combined treatment of 50 ppm ClO₂ and 0.5% citric acid reduced populations of total aerobic bacteria, yeast, and molds in Aster scaber and Cirsium setidens Nakai by 2.80∼3.64 and 2.02∼2.67 log CFU/g, respectively, compared to those of the control. Combined treatment of 50 ppm ClO₂ and 0.5% fumaric acid reduced total aerobic bacteria, yeast and molds populations by 3.62∼3.82 and 2.47∼3.02 log CFU/g, respectively. Based on the results, combined treatment of ClO₂ and fumaric acid was more effective in controlling microorganisms in the wild vegetables than either ClO₂ or citric acid. In addition, combined treatment of ClO₂/fumaric acid/blanching reduced the populations of total aerobic bacteria by 4.59∼5.12 log CFU/g, and populations of yeast and molds were not detected by treatment. These results suggest that combined treatment of ClO₂/fumaric acid/blanching is the most effective method for improving microbiological safety of wild vegetables after harvest.

      • Involvement of calcium-mediated apoptotic signals in H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>-induced MIN6N8a cell death

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Reactive oxygen species are believed to be the central mediators of beta-cell destruction that leads to type 1 and 2 diabetes, and calcium has been reported to be an important mediator of beta cell death. In the present study, the authors investigated whether Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> plays a role in hydrogen peroxide (H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>)-induced MIN6N8a mouse beta cell death. Treatment with low concentration H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> (50?μM) was found to be sufficient to reduce MIN6N8a cell viability by 55%, largely via apoptosis. However, this H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>-induced cell death was near completely blocked by pretreatment with BAPTA/AM (5?μM), a chelator of intracellular Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>. Moreover, the intracellular calcium store channel blockers, such as, xestospongin c and ryanodine, significant protected cells from 50?μM H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>-induced cell death and under extracellular Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>-free conditions, 50?μM H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> elicited transient [Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>]<SUB>i</SUB> increases. In addition, pharmacologic inhibitors of calpain, calcineurin, and calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II were found to have a protective effect on H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>-induced death. Moreover, H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>-induced apoptotic signals, such as c-JUN N-terminal kinase activation, cytochrome <I>c</I> release, caspase 3 activation, and poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase cleavage were all down-regulated by the intracellular Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> chelation. These findings show that [Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>]<SUB>i</SUB> elevation, possibly due to release from intracellular calcium stores and the subsequent activation of Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>-mediated apoptotic signals, critically mediates low concentration H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>-induced MIN6N8a cell death. These findings suggest that a breakdown of calcium homeostasis by low level of reactive oxygen species may be involved in beta cell destruction during diabetes development.</P>

      • Flavobacterium meningosepticum에 의한 균혈증 1예

        1996년 6월 카톨릭대학교 부천성가병원에 뇌경색으로 입원했던 61세 남자 환자의 혈액에서 Flavobacterium meningosepticum을 분리하였다. 환자는 폐렴을 동반한 패혈증의 예로 ceftriaxone과 metronidazole을 투여하였으나 입원 48시간만에 사망하였다. Flabovacterium meningosepticum is a rae cause of nosocomial infection which shows multi-drug resistance. It mainly invades patients with impaired immunity. Recently, we experienced a case of F. meningosepticum bacteremia in a patient with chronic debilitated state owing to stroke. The clinical progress was so rapid that he died within 48 hours. Blood culture revealed F. meningosepticum which showed characteristic yellow colony in blood agar plate.

        청소년 경계선 상태의 임상적 분류

        요 약 본 논문에서는 청소년 경계선 장애의 개념의 발달, 역학, 공존 질환 및 감별 진 단, 유형 분류, 정신 역동학적 이론, 생물학적 이론, 실험적인 연구등을 통한 병인론, 추적 연 구에 대한 문헌 고찰을 하였고 청소년기에 재현되는 재접근기(rapproachment)의 혼란에 의해 현상학 적으로 경계선 성 격 장애 와 같은 모습을 보이는 상태를 통틀어 청 소년의 경 계 선 상태 (adolescent borderline slate)라고 정의하였으며 이를 성인의 경계선 성격 장애와는 다른 청소년의 한 '과정 '으로서 개념화하였다. 또한 저자들은 청소년기의 경계선 상태를 다음의 네가지 유형으로 나누고 각각의 증례 를 제시 하였다 (1) 청소년 과정으로서의 경계선 상태 (2) 정신병적 상태와 연된되어 나타나 는 경계선 상태 (3) 전형적 경계선 성격 장애의 시작으로서의 경계선 상태 (B) 기질적 질환과 연결 되어 나타나는 경 계 선 상태 결론적으로 청소년기의 경계선 장애는 단순히 아동기의 분리-개별화 단계의 실 패가 지속되어 생기는 것이 아니라 이와 유사한 과제가 발달의 주제로 재현되는 청소년기의 이차 분리 개별화 과정의 갈등에 의한 것이고 만약 이 시기에 갈등의 해소가 안되면 성 인기에서는 경 계선 성격 장애로 나타날 수 있을 것이라고 생각되었다. ABSTRACT The purpose of this article is to identify the specific characteristics of borderline disorder in adolescence to conceptualize the borderline state as an adolescent process different from borderline personality disorder in adult, and to classify them according to it's unique clinical feature, porcess and outcome. The development of borderline disorder in adolescent, epidemiology, comorbid disorders and differential diagnosis, pre-existing sub-classification systems, and etiology in theories of psychodynamics. biological theories, experimental studies, and follow-up studies are revie- wed. The authors conceptualize the adolescent borderline state include all clinical states generated by re-emergence of unresolved rapproachement conflicts in adolescent, and propose that there are four subgroups in adolescent borderline state, (l) Borderline state as an adolescent process (2) Borderline state associated with psychotic disorders (3) Boderline state as an initial stnge of typical borderline personality disorder (4) Borderline state associated with organic problems. Conceptually, borderline state in adolescence is not a simple continuation of primary failure of separation-individuation but a struggle for mastering unresolved separation-individuation conflicts in adolesance i.e., the second separation-individuation stage, and if it fails this time, the struggle might continue into adult life as borderline personality disorder.

      • 학교체육과 지역사회체육의 연계실태와 실천방안

        This study was formed the basis of propelling for being closely connecting between School PE(Physical Education) and Local Society Exercise for regarding the cooperation possibility depending on the actual situation. From this, it is helpful for evaluating the total understanding of the present condition form School PE and Local Society Exercise and grasping the realities concretely. To gain the above result, the subject of study is on 48 agencies among 50 agencies that include 30 elementary and middle schools, 15 government offices, 5 YMCA offices. After investigating the plan of providing physical activity program except result PE class and the connecting program with School PE and its activation, it comes to the conclusion below this. There is the period of possible time for propelling the cooperating model at School and Local Society PE which is special activity class after school, club activity class, discretional activity class and the vacation, weekends. And also there are many participating agencies that are school, local society, public sports center and community, the youth group, local autonomous entity PE post, prfessional physical association and community, city and countries Education Office and the sports-lover's group etc. So far, the connecting program is operated at 24 agencies which are 3 elementary school(30%), 5 middle school(50%), 4 high school(40%)m 7 government office(70%), 5 YMCA office(80%). As the reason of non-operating it, the first is the lack of the charger, spare time and considering teacher's advantage when time is arranged at the teacher and leader's part. The second is the falling behind facility and the lack of place and appliance for practicing. The third is the insufficient of connecting program at program part and increasingly number of students who are individual participating at the side of local society physical agency at school. The forth is the lack of finances for running at economy part and overpaying of using fee. The fifth is the lack of the activity time at the elementary school and putting first in importance the exam for university enterance at middle and high school. The sixth is the parents and principals and school committee have little understanding of the physical educating in common at recognition part. The seventh is the cooperating company's preparation is not enough and incomplete relation each other. Looking into the opinion for activating plan of connecting program which is classified into common contents, the result is presented the same reaction both of them that the professional leader arrangement is needed at teacher and leader's part. At the facility expansion and open program part is required for a various program. In the case of school at economy condition part, more cheaper than expenses for facilities is needed and also the renovation of the education system And at the recognition part, the positive attitude of school is needed. At the safety part, the solution of safety problem for responsibility is needed. At the administration part, the support for professional agency and the change of systemic role for connecting agency.
