The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of ethanol extract of Fagopyrum escuentum(FE) on the melanogenesis. To determine whether ethanol extract of FE suppress melanin synthesis in cellular level, B16F10 melanoma cells were cultured in the presence of different concentrations of FE ethanol extract. In the present study, the author examined the effects of FE ethanol extract on cell proliferation, melanin contents, tyrosinase activity. Cell proliferation was slightly increased by treatment with ethanol extract of FE (25-200 ㎍/ml). The ethanol extract of FE effectively suppressed melanin contents at a dose of 100 ㎍/ml. It was observed that the color of cell pellets was totally whitened compared with the control. The ethanol extract of FE inhibited tyrosinase activity, regulate melanin biosynthesis as the key enzyme in melanogenesis. These results suggest that the ethanol extract of FE exerts its depigmenting effects through the suppression of tyrosinase activity. And it may be a potent depigmetation agent in hyperpigmentation condition.
The Application of Logic Based Computerized Evaluation in Determining Procedure Flow in APR1400 CPS

Objective: This paper introduces the logic based computerized evaluation in determining procedure flow in Advance Power Reactor 1400 (APR1400) computerized procedure system (CPS) and suggests guidelines to increase operator performance from Human Factors Engineering (HFE) point of view. Background: Plant procedures are instructions to guide operators in monitoring, decision making, and controlling nuclear power plants (NPPs). While plant procedures historically have been paper-based, computer-based procedures are being developed to overcome the drawbacks of paper based procedures. The CPS is used to integrate the operational instructions, plan process information and computerized operator support functions in advanced main control room (MCR) of APR1400. The logic based computerized evaluation of CPS functions can help MCR operators to determine procedure flow with higher speed and accuracy. The guidelines for this logic based computerized evaluation are important for procedure writers to select the right type of operator interaction depending upon the operational situation such as urgency of the operator actions. Method: The logic based computerized evaluation types in CPS are Auto evaluation type and ManualAuto evaluation type. Auto evaluation type displays the evaluation value for the instruction and ManualAuto evaluation type displays evaluation value for the instruction after the operator inputs evaluation value. This logic based computerized evaluation types are applied to computerized procedures in NPPs. Conclusion: This paper describes Auto/ManualAuto evaluation types in CPS and suggests guidelines to increase operator performance from HFE point of view and plant operation procedures. The developed Shin-Kori NPPs 3&4 units computerized procedures for considering suggested guidelines will be verified & validated at the Shin-Kori 3&4 final (HFE) V&V.

실제 대규모 전력계통에서 발생 가능한 과도현상 모의 및 새롭게 개발된 보호 장비와 같은 전력기기들의 사전 동작검증을 위하여 실시간 시뮬레이터의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 여러 실시간 시뮬레이터 중 OPAL-RT eMEGAsim을 사용하여 실시간 시뮬레이션을 통한 과도안정도 분석을 수행하였다. 우선, OPAL-RT eMEGAsim의 특징 및 하드웨어 구조, 시뮬레이션 도구에 대하여 기술하였고, 간단한 1기 무한모선 계통에서 과도안정도를 분석하고 모의결과를 제시하였다.
Dynamic Link Library 기법을 이용한 과전류 계전기 모델링

This paper presents the new technique of modeling using Dynamic Link Library(DLL) in ElectroMagnetic Transients Program - Restructured Version(EMTP-RV) in which we have simplified the procedures of OverCurrent Relay(OCR) modeling. The DLL function is designed to allow EMTP-RV users to develop advanced program model modules and interface them directly and intimately with the EMTP-RV engine. The modeled OCR is verified by simulating the various fault cases in the distribution system. Also, the performance for the modeling of OCR using DLL is compared with that of the method using the control components of EMTP-RV and using EMTP/MODELS. The results show the validity of modeled OCR and the effectiveness of the method using DLL function.

최근 전력산업의 화두가 되고 있는 지능형 전력망과 그린 에너지 사용의 확대로 인하여 배전계통은 더욱 복잡한 망구조를 띄고 있으며, 이에 따라 계통에서 발생하는 고장전류 증가 및 과도현상들도 매우 다양하게 나타나고 있다. 이와 같은 과도현상으로부터 배전계통을 보호하기 위해 전력용 퓨즈, Recloser, 과전류 계전기, 과전압 계전기 등이 사용된다. 이러한 보호 기기들이 정상 동작하기 위해서는 사전 모의를 통해 상시 부하 전류와 고장 전류 및 계통 이상 상태를 파악하고, 다른 보호기기와의 보호 협조를 고려해야 한다. 이러한 보호 장비들을 구현하고, 동작을 검증함에 있어 기존에는 EMTP(ElectroMagnetic Transients Program)와 같은 과도현상 해석 프로그램이 사용되어 왔다. 최근 상용 버전으로 개발된 EMTP-RV(ElectroMagnetic Transients Program-Restructured Version)는 기존의 컨트롤 소자들로만 구현해야 했던 한계점을 극복하기 위해 사용자 정의가 가능한 DLL(Dynamic Link Library) 기능을 제공함으로써 사용자가 EMTP-RV 개발자와 동일한 환경 하에서 계통 소자를 구현할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 모델링 기법인 DLL 기능을 이용하여 과전압 계전기를 구현하고 결과를 검증하여 모델링 방법의 적합함을 보였다.
쿠미스 투여가 운동선수의 혈중 향산화물질변화와 지구력증가에 미치는 영향

This study was carried out to know the effect of cumiss on plasma glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px), selenium(Se) contents, lipid peroxides levels(TBARS) and endurance of athletes. The subjects were 30 healthy high school student players(Marathoner, Canoe, Taekwondo) in C city, Kangweon province The groups were classified into experimental group and non-supplementation group(control group). Cummiss were supplemeted to experimental group 3 bottles (150㎖/bottle) per one day. As a result of experiment for 1 month, plasma GSH-Px activity were significantly increased in experimental group, on the other hand, lipid peroxide levels were significantly decreased in experimental group than control group on post-test by treadmill. Plasma selenium contents also showed a mild increase but not significantly than control group. Exhaustion time were significantly extended in experimental group on post-test. The present result suggests that cummiss supplementation protects against lipid peroxidative damage and increase tenacity for sportsmen.
