To identify the effects of free style aerobic exercises on the change of body fat and cholesterol which is thought to cause geriatric diseases. 60 women(20 teens. 20 twenties. and 20 over thirties) were take part in this aerobic exercise program as volunteers. Exercise program were consist with the frequency of 3days exercise per a week. with the duration of 40 min.'s exercise time. with 60 to 80% of max. HR intensity. and with the variable sports types(basket ball. volley ball. badminton and other ball-games which chosen by subjects). during 16 weeks(3 months). Body fat by BIA method and Cholesterol by blood chemical analysis were conducted to the subjects before and after this program The results from the analyzed data are follows: 1. Total Cholesterol and LDL Cholesterol of Serum after conduct the Aerobic exercise program were decreased by 7.4% in teens' 9.0% in twenties'. and 4.5% in over thirties' compared with pre-test. with the statistical significant differencies. This means that the Aerobic program with free mode is effective for the blood component which represent geriatric disease. 2. Content of Serum HDL Cholesterol increased by 9.8% in twenties' and 2.2% in over thirties' compared with pre-test. with the statistical significant differencies. Therefore, this program is very good for the improvement of blood vessel system. 3. Body fat after conduct this program were decreased by 7.4%, 9.0 and 4.5% in each group compared with pre-test. while LBM increased by 2.6%. 0.6% in each group without statistical differency. This means that whatever exercise mode with aerobic intensity will give very good effect to decrease body fat. 4. Serum Trglyceride(TG) were decreased by 44.6% 10.0%. and 7.5% in each group after this program. This means that the Aerobic program with free mode is effective for decreasing blood TH. especially. 5. Body fat is correlated with LDL cholesterol. specially Thus,. the volume of body fat may be used to estimate LDL cholesterol volume.

In this paper, we present facial expression recognition using feature-adaptive motion analysis and ID3 decision tree. Our method optimized the information gain heuristics of ID3 and consists of three parts: (1) simple geometric face model representation, (2) effective facial feature extraction using feature selection and feature-adaptive motion analysis, and (3) computationally inexpensive rule-based classification using ID3 tree. Our methods avoids complicated face model representation such as 3D modeling of human face, rather it uses FAC5-alike but much simpler face model by using fewer features and their actions. Feature selection and feature-adaptive motion analysis estimate motion patterns in fast and effective manner by assigning computational complexity on necessary parts only. Moreover, information gain heuristics of ID3 tree forces the classification to be done with minimal Boolean comparison. The performance was acceptable with overall recognition accuracy of 77% for JAFFE database (95 expressed images).

The purpose of this study was to evaluate a effect of O2 supply and minus ion combination supply in the cardio-vascular function, blood lactate concentration, and blood gas component during rest, anaerobic threshold, maximal state and recovery phase (30 minute) after exercise. 30 numbers of Middle-aged male(n=15) and female(n=15) participated as subject of this study. The subject devided into four group as 4 times repeated exercise load testing. That is, Male control group(MCG), Female control group(FCG), Male O2 treatment group(MTG), Female O2 treatment group(FTG), Male minus ion treatment group(MMG), Female minus ion treatment group(FMG), Male O2+minus ion treatment group(MOMG) and Female O2+minus ion treatment group(FOMG). The result and conclusion of this study is obtained as follows. 1. Cardio-vascular function variables(VO2, VE, HR, %HRmax, %VO2max, AnT time and exhaustion time) in the rest, anaerobic threshold and maximal state was not shown a significant difference in all experimental group. 2. Male blood lactate concentration was not significant difference in rest state, but blood peak lactate value(La peak) was shown a significant difference in MCG vs. MMG, MOMG (p<.001, respectively), and MTG vs. MMG (p<.001). Also, La removal rate in the recovery 30 minute was shown a significantly low levels in MMG compared to MCG (p<.001). 3. Female blood lactate concentration was not significant difference in rest state, but blood peak lactate value(La peak) was shown a significant difference in FCG vs. FMG, FOMG (p<.001, respectively). Also, La removal rate in the recovery 30 minute was shown a significantly low levels in FMG compared to FCG and FTG (p<.05, respectively). 4. Blood gas component (pH, PO2, PCO2 and HCO3-) in rest, immediately after exercise and recovery 30 minute was not shown a significant difference followed O2 supply and minus ion treatment in male.

This study was carried out to know the effect of cumiss on plasma glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px), selenium(Se) contents, lipid peroxides levels(TBARS) and endurance of athletes. The subjects were 30 healthy high school student players(Marathoner, Canoe, Taekwondo) in C city, Kangweon province The groups were classified into experimental group and non-supplementation group(control group). Cummiss were supplemeted to experimental group 3 bottles (150㎖/bottle) per one day. As a result of experiment for 1 month, plasma GSH-Px activity were significantly increased in experimental group, on the other hand, lipid peroxide levels were significantly decreased in experimental group than control group on post-test by treadmill. Plasma selenium contents also showed a mild increase but not significantly than control group. Exhaustion time were significantly extended in experimental group on post-test. The present result suggests that cummiss supplementation protects against lipid peroxidative damage and increase tenacity for sportsmen.
