        디지털 영상인식 방법을 통한 자세평가 및 운동가동범위 측정시스템 개발

The purpose of this study is development of posture evaluation and Range of Motion(ROM) system by using digital vision analysis method. The results of this study are as follows. First, Scoliosis evaluation through this research measurement system represent 3mm error in 7 cervical point and deepest lumbar point, 0.7mm error in other point. This mean this research measurement system have a reliability for scoliosis evaluation. Second, for spine line evaluation on high fat subject, we need reconstrection spine line after mesurement for fat thickness in 7 cervical point and deepest lumbar point. Third, In pedioscope error test, it present 0.01848cm in X axis and 0.01757cm in Y axis. This results mean pedioscope have a reliability foot evaluation. Forth, Posture evaluation and Range of Motion measurement system by using digital vision analysis method can fast measure in range of motion and foot evaluation and posture. therefore we can expect this system application in young people posture clinic center and hospital and so on.

        This paper aims at providing a concrete plan to improve technical and vocational teacher education in the College of Industrial Education of Chungnam National University. It is intended to propose a practical four-year regular and short-term course. Also, the estimated required facilities is included in this study as well as their management. The main conclusions and recommendations are summarized as follows; 1) The numbers of students enrollment should be reduced to 220 students which is the approximate number of future demand. 2) In order to offer to the students a broader education and to cope with the increase/decrease in demand of technical and vocational teacher within a specific field, the 8 department existing at the present (Department of Architecture Engineering Education, Civil Eng. Educ., Metallurgical Eng. Educ., Mechanical Eng. .Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Electronic Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.) would be combined into 5 (Department of Construction Engineering Education, Mechanical Eng. Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.). 3) The short-term course program is recommened to provide additional training and education to those candidates who already have experience in technical fields to meet an occasional demand. 4) It is necessary to add the Teaching Profession Section in the administrative organization of the College.

        지역사회 정신의학 전공의 교육과정 실태조사

        Objectives : There is a increasing need to recruit and retain more psychiatrists who can plan and implement organized programs to work with chronic mentally ill patients in community settings. The aim of study is to discover what training is currently in place to prepare psychiatrist for work in "community" or "public" settings. Methods : Survey questionnaires were mailed to 85 residency training directors and 10 leaders of community mental health in 2005. Response rate was 75%. Results : Academic seminar about community mental health were not administered to residents in 63% of training hospitals. Forty one out of 64 training hospitals had community mental health rotation programs, Community mental health center (50%) and day hospital (36%) were the most common type of programs. Few general hospital had affiliation with community mental health programs. The amount of time for clinical rotation varied from less than three months part time to 6 months fulltime, with most frequent form of one day per week for three month in second or third year of psychiatry residents. Conclusion : Further steps are needed to improve residency training curricula and to encourage well qualified psychiatrist to choose careers in community psychiatry.

      • 건설현장 근로자들의 안저예방실태와 사고예방과의 개선요인 조사연구

        This study was conducted to examine aspects of health and safety education and demand level of safety education in construction job sites in order to provide direction of safety education development. The subjects of this study were 566 workers who were working in construction job sites located in Daegu City and Kyungbuk Province. Data were collected from June 1, 2002 to August 30, 2002. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. According to safety education by experience methods, the proportion of education by lecture was highest (90.6%). The proportion of education by field practice was 13.1%. 2. Among the education methods which they thought as the most desirable method, the proportion of audio-visual education was 39.4% and the proportion of education by experience was 37.5%. Those who had more monthly income and higher education level preferred audio-visual education, while those who were younger and less educated preferred education by experience. 3. In the case of the contents of the safety education which they thought as the most important one, the proportion of enhancement of safety awareness and education of risk factors was highest (24.7%). The groups of older workers, having longer working period, and belonging to higher education level preferred these contents. 4. According to the factors which were most important to increase effectiveness of the safety education were workers' voluntary participation (27.7%), 40 to 49 years old (27.7%), and monthly income of one million, five hundred thousand won to one million, nine hundred ninety thousand won (32.0%). The proportions of lower educated workers and working as daily workers were also high. 5. The variable which most influenced the safety education was age. The safety awareness of construction job sites was the second highest influential variable. From above results, it is clear that the workers' participation in the safety education was low since most of the safety educations were formal education by lecture. Although they participated in the education, the education was also not effective because they compulsorily participated in it. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective alternative policies must be formulated.

      • 한국 야생고양이에서 바르토넬라 감염

        Background : Cat scratch disease (CSD) is an emerging disease worldwide and is mainly caused by Bartonella henselae, a gram-negative bacterium. The most common clinical manifestation is regional lymphadenopathy, though clinical recognition may be difficult, as atypical manifestations occur. The condition can be complicated by neuroretinitis, endocarditis, and sometimes fatal encephalopathy. The reservoir of B. henselae is the cat, and the prevalence rates of B. henselae infection in cat populations range from 4 to 70% . The prevalence of Bartonella infection in Korea has not been studied, thus, in this study Bartonella infection was investigated in cats captured in the Inchon and Ansan areas. Methods : Twenty wild cats were captured and their livers and spleens were examined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), bacterial culture, and histopathologically, PCR used two primers : Cat (sense : 5'-GAT TCA ATT GGT TTG AA(G/A) GAG GCT-3', antisense : 5'-TCA CAT CAC CAG G(A/G)C GTA TTC-3') and Barto (sense:5'-(C/T) CT TCG TTT CTC TTT CTT CA-3', antisense : 5'-AAC CAA CTG AGC TAC AAG CC-3'). Culture was performed by inoculating sliced spleen and liver into the ECV304 cell line and bacterial growth was observed over a period of 3 weeks. If no visible bacterial growth was identified, the presence of bartonella was examined by DNA staining, indirect immunofluorescent staining, and PCR. Liver and spleen were stained with H&E and scrutinized under the light microscope. Results : Nine pairs of culture cells inoculated with liver and spleen were examined by indirect immunofluorescent staining and PCR; no positive case was found. In addition, no positive case was identified by PCR in the liver and spleen specimens of eleven cats. Spleen and liver specimens of eleven cats were examined by light microscopy and none showed granuloma. Conclusion : This preliminary study suggests that the Bartonella infection is probably uncommon in the cat population of the Inchon and Ansan areas. Further studies should be undertaken to detail the prevalence of Bartonella infection in other areas and in human. (Korean J Infect Dis 33:319∼324, 2001)

      • 측백나무 추출물의 Monoamine Oxidase 저해활성

        Monoamine oxidase (MAO) exists in the outer membrane of mitochondria and contained a flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD). MAO is classified into two forms, A-type (MAO-A) and B-type (MAO-B) on the basis of their different specifications toward substrates and inhibitors. This study was carried out to identify inhibitory components on MAO from Thuja orientalis seed extract by bioassay- guided isolation. The seeds of Thuja orientalis was extracted with 80% MeOH, and the MeOH extract was fractionated with n-hexane, chloroform, ethylacetate and n-butanol successively. The n-hexane and chloroform fraction showed relatively high inhibitory activity on MAO. Among the fractions from n-hexane layer through silicagel column chromatography, the fractions 2, 3 and 4 showed strong inhibitory activity on MAO

        황사의 확산예측을 위한 기상정보의 시간해상도에 관한 수치연구

        In order to predict air pollution and Yellow-sand dispersion precisely, it is necessary to clarify the sensitivity of meteorological field input interval. Therefore numerical experiment by atmospheric dynamic model(RAMS) and atmospheric dispersion model(PDAS) was performed for evaluating the effect of temporal and spatial resolution of meteorological data on particle dispersion. The results are as follows: 1) Base on the result of RAMS simulation, surface wind direction and speed can either synchronize upper wind or not. If surface wind and upper wind do not synchronize, precise prediction of Yellow-sand dispersion is strongly associated with upwelling process of sand of particle. 2) There is no significant discrepance in distribution of particle under usage of difference temporal resolution of meteorological information at early time of simulation. but the difference of distribution of particles become large as time goes by. 3) There is little difference between calculated particles distributions in dispersion experiments with high temporal resolution of meteorological data. On the other hand, low resolution of meteorological data occur the quantitative difference of particle density and there is strong tendency to the quantitative difference.

        This study proposes a new analytical method for assessing outage cost of composite power system with considering transmission system. Uncertainty of outages of generation system and transmission can be included. Composite power system ELDC(CMELDC) on HLII is developed and proposed newly from reliability evaluation of composite power system in order to analysis the outage cost on HLII. Equivalent outage cost of transmission system(EOCTS) is proposed newly in this study too. This means the outage cost conversed from unarrival which is power occurred by the outage of transmission system. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by the two case studies. The results show that this approach can evaluate the equivalent price of the outages of transmission lines.

        방사선 조사가 배양된 조골세포의 apoptosis와 세포주기의 변화 및 석회화 결절 형성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Purpose : The study was aimed to detect the induction of apoptosis, cell cycle arrest and calcified nodule formation after irradiation on primarily cultured osteoblasts. Materials and Methods : Using rat calvarial osteoblasts, the effects of irradiation on apoptosis, cell cycle arrest, and calcified nodule formation were studied. The single irradiation of 10 and 20 Gy was done with 5.38 Gy/min dose rate using the 137Cs cell irradiator at 4th and 14th day of culture. Apoptosis induction and cell cycle arrest were assayed by the flowcytomtry at 1,2,3, and 4 days after irradiation. The formation of calcified nodules was observed by alizarin red staining at 1,3,10,14 days after irradiation at 4th day of culture, and at 1,4,5 days after irradiation at 14th day of culture. Results : Apoptosis was not induced by 10 or 20 Gy independent of irradiation and culture period. Irradiation did not induced Gl arrest in post-irradiated ostedblasts. After irradiation at 4th-day of culture, G2 arrest was induced but it was not statistically significant after irradiation at 14th-day of culture. In the case of irradiated cells at 4th day of culture, calcified nodules were not formed and at 14th-day of culture after irradiation, calcified nodule formation did not affected. Conclusion : Taken together, these results suggest that Irradiation at the dose of 10-20 Gy would not affect apoptosis induction of osteoblasts. Cell cycle and calcified nodule formation were influenced by the level of differentiation of osteblasts. (Korean J Oral Maxillofac Radiol 2000; 30: 189-198)

      • 다층 양막이식술로 치유된 각막천공 1 례

        Purpose : We report a case of corneal perforation and descemetocele which was treared with multilayer amniotic membrane transplantation. Patient and Methods : A male patient was referred to the Department of Ophthalmology, Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital for the management of corneal perforation from long-standing persistent epithelial defect and stromal lysis. Three to four layers of cryopreserved amniotic membrane were applied to the perforation site and anchored with interrupted 10-0 nylon sutures for the purpose of restoring the integrity of the eye and regaining corneal thickness. Postoperatively, the patient was treated with topical antibiotics, corticosteroids and autologous serum eyedrops. Result : Multilayer amniotic membrane transplantation was successful in sealing the corneal perforation. The cornea remained stable with no further leakage of the aqueous postoperatively and no signs of infection and rejection were noted. Also, restoration of the corneal thickness was observed to a considerable amount. Conclusion : Multiplayer amniotic membrane transplantation allowed a successful repair of corneal perforation and seems to be an excellent alternative to tissue adhesive, patch graft, conjunctival flap, or even panetrating keratoplasty for treating corneal perforations.
