Objective: To compare 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) rates oflaparoscopic radical hysterectomy (LRH) and abdominal radical hysterectomy (ARH) forstage IB1 and tumor size <2 cm with visible or invisible tumors. Methods: We retrospectively compared the oncological outcomes of 1,484 cervical cancerpatients with IB1 and tumor size <2 cm on final pathology, who received ARH (n=899) or LRH(n=585) between January 2004 and December 2016. Patients were divided into visible tumorsubgroup (ARH: n=668, LRH: n=444) and invisible tumor subgroup (ARH: n=231, LRH:n=141) according to tumor type. Results: LRH and ARH showed similar 5-year DFS and OS rates (93.3% vs. 93.1%, p=0.997;96.2% vs. 97.5%, p=0.351) in total study population. LRH was not associated with worse5-year DFS rate (hazard ratio [HR]=0.96; 95% confidence interval [CI]=0.58–1.58; p=0.871)or OS rate (HR=1.37; 95% CI=0.65–2.89; p=0.409) by multivariable analysis. In the visibletumor subgroups, LRH and ARH showed similar 5-year DFS and OS rates (91.9% vs. 91.9%,p=0.933; 95.0% vs. 96.9%, p=0.276), and LRH was not associated with worse 5-year DFS orOS rate (p=0.804, p=0.324). In the invisible tumor subgroups, LRH and ARH also showedsimilar 5-year DFS and OS rates (97.3% vs. 97.1%, p=0.815; 100% vs. 99.5%, p=0.449), andLRH was not associated with worse 5-year DFS rate (p=0.723). Conclusions: Among patients with stage IB1 and tumor size <2 cm, whether the tumor isvisible or not, the oncological outcomes of LRH and ARH among cervical cancer patients arecomparable. This suggests that LRH may be suitable for stage IB1 and tumor size <2 cm withvisible or invisible tumors.Trial Registration: International Clinical Trials Registry Platform Identifier: CHiCTR180017778
Efficacy of an adhesive nanopesticide on insect pests of rice in field trials
Gao Yunhao,Li Donglin,Li Dongyang,Xu Pengfei,Mao Kaikai,Zhang Yunhua,Qin Xueying,Tang Tao,Wan Hu,Li Jianhong,Guo Mingcheng,He Shun 한국응용곤충학회 2020 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.23 No.4
Nanopesticides with antiwashing capacity on leaves are the most promising new approaches for sustainable pest management and have been fully evaluated in the laboratory. However, few studies have tested these nanopesticides on pests, and their efficacy under field conditions has not been investigated. In this study, an adhesive hollow mesoporous silica hybrid with well-defined spherical shape and good monodispersity was used as a nanocarrier of cyantraniliprole (CNAP) to fabricate an adhesive nanopesticide (CNAP-HMS-PDAAM). The control efficacy of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM was tested under field conditions. The results indicated that the efficacy of four doses of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM (30.0–69.0 g a.i./ha) against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guénee) 3, 7, and 14 days after spraying did not significantly differ from that of Benevia (34.5 g a.i./ha). Twenty-eight days after spraying, the efficacy of all four doses of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM was significantly better than that of Benevia. Additionally, the efficacy of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM at doses of 34.5, 39.0 and 69.0 g a.i./ha against Chilo suppressalis (Walker) were significantly higher than that of Benevia (34.5 g a.i./ha). Thus, CNAP-HMS-PDAAM showed long-term control efficacies against C. medinalis (Guénee) and C. suppressalis (Walker), mainly due to its strong adhesive property on rice leaves and its sustained release properties. In addition, the nanocarriers showed good biocompatibility and had no obvious influence on the growth of rice.
Fatigue Life Predictions based on a New Stress Field Intensity Approach
Donglin Tang,Jun Hou,Zhiquan Ma,Maoyang Li 대한토목학회 2019 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.23 No.5
This work is to introduce a new model for fatigue life prediction. At first, considering the weakening speed of weight function in the stress field of intensity method is too fast, a modification is presented to make it more suitable for the calculation of the fatigue life of the key components. In this model the stress contour line was proposed as the boundary of the damage zone and a new mathematical model for stress gradient was constructed. Then, the determination of the damage zone and the direction angle were given. Numerical simulations were performed to analyze the proposed new method. On the basis of the new stress field of intensity method, two examples were analyzed and calculated. Compared with the traditional method, the damage zone determined by the improved stress field method can change with the load amplitude, and it is closer to the shape and size of the real damage zone. The experiment effectively verifies the rationality of the new mathematical model and the feasibility of this new approach. With the small error and good stability, this new approach can be well used in the fatigue life prediction of notched specimen.
Finite element simulation and experiments on a new induction heating bearing replacer
Li Guofa,Ren Xiaoli,Wang Longshan,Zhang Donglin 대한기계학회 2011 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.25 No.8
A new shaft-bearing replacer used for bearing inner race based on the induction-heating technique by finite element method (FEM)was designed in this paper. The regularities of the distribution of the electromagnetic and thermal-structural coupled field in the replacer, temperature changes with time course, and expansion size in shaft and the bearing inner ring were simulated during the course of induction heating. The FEM simulation results not only proved the existence of the eddy skin effect, but also achieved the design parameters of the replacer. Experiments verified that the replacer can realize a fast disassembling of the bearing inner race, which assembled on an axle with interference fits.
