3D Structure Prediction of Human 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 7 (5-HT7R)
Thirunavukarasu Kalaivani 조선대학교 기초과학연구원 2018 조선자연과학논문집 Vol.11 No.2
5-Hydroxytryptamine receptor 7 (5-HT7R) is one of G-Protein coupled receptors, which is found to be involved in the pathophysiology of various neurological disorders including depression, sleep disorders, memory deficiency and neuropathic pain. After activation of 5-HT7R by serotonin, it activates the production of the intracellular signaling molecule cyclic AMP. The availability of 3D structure of the receptor would enhance the development of new drugs. Hence, in the present study, homology modelling of human 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 7 (5-HT7R) was performed using comparative modelling (Easy Modeller) and threading (I-TASSER) approaches. The generated models were validated using Ramachandran plot and ERRAT plot and the best models were selected based on the validation results. The 3D model developed here could be useful for identifying crucial residues and further docking study.

The properties of aqueous surfactant solutions with external additives are extensively useful in surfactantbased systems. To study the dielectric relaxation studies of aqueous ionic surfactants (SDS, CTAB, DPC) and aqueous butanol, benzyl alcohol, aniline and tributylamine were carried out for different concentrations at 303k. Dielectric relaxation spectroscopy (DRS) is valuable for understanding the dynamic process mainly in micellar systems. Time domain dielectric data were obtained through HP54750A oscilloscope and TDR plug-in-module. The relaxation times were determined through the well-known Cole-Cole method. The superposition of two relaxation times gives the dielectric relaxation time obtained from the hydrated water molecule with rotations around the micelle, ions and another hydrophobic inner side of the micelle. Viscosity measurements were used to correlate the dielectric data. The Kirkwood correlation factor (gf), effective Kirkwood correlation factor (geff), Bruggeman Factor (fB), excess inverse relaxation time (1/τ)E, excess dielectric constant (ε E) and free energy of activation (ΔFt) were also calculated. The effects of dielectric relaxation and viscous flow were interpreted and discussed.
A Novel Fuzzy Based Bio-Key Management scheme for Medical Data Security
K. Kalaivani,R. Sivakumar 대한전기학회 2016 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.11 No.5
Medical data security has drawn much attention from research community in recent years. Medical sensor networks are playing a major role to assure the security of medical data in health care monitoring. A critical issue in providing security for the streaming medical data is how to protect the security aspects like confidentiality, integrity, authentication and non-repudiation of a patient’s medical data over networking environment in a resource efficient manner. This paper presents a novel fuzzy based bio-key management scheme (FBKM), which can provide secure medical data communication without any overhead. We have presented the simulation results, which exhibit that the proposed FBKM scheme can achieve better security performance in terms of various metrics such as False Acceptance Rate (FAR), Genuine Acceptance Rate (GAR) and False Rejection Rate (FRR) than other existing approaches.

Many organizations seek statistical modelling facilitated by data analytics technologies for determining the prediction models associated with M\&A (Merger and Acquisition). By combining these data analytics tool alongside with data collection approaches aids organizations towards M\&A decision making, followed by achieving profitable insights as well. It promotes for better visibility, overall improvements and effective negotiation strategies for post-M\&A integration. This paper explores on the impact of pre and post integration of M\&A in a standard organizational setting via devising a suitable statistical model via employing techniques such as Naïve Bayes, K-nearest neighbour (KNN), and Decision Tree \& Support Vector Machine (SVM).
Acellular Scaffolds as Innovative Biomaterial Platforms for the Management of Diabetic Wounds
Tallapaneni Vyshnavi,Kalaivani C.,Pamu Divya,Mude Lavanya,Singh Sachin Kumar,Karri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Reddy 한국조직공학과 재생의학회 2021 조직공학과 재생의학 Vol.18 No.5
Diabetic wound (DW) is one of the leading complications of patients having a long history of uncontrolled diabetes. Moreover, it also imposes an economic burden on people suffering from wounds to manage the treatment. The major impending factors in the treatment of DW are infection, prolonged inflammation and decreased oxygen levels. Since these non-healing wounds are associated with an extended recovery period, the existing therapies provide treatment for a limited period only. The areas covered in this review are general sequential events of wound healing along with DW's pathophysiology, the origin of DW and success, as well as limitations of existing therapies. This systematic review's significant aspect is to highlight the fabrication, characterization and applications of various acellular scaffolds used to heal DW. In addition to that, cellular scaffolds are also described to a limited extent.
CONTINUITY OF FUZZY PROPER FUNCTIONS ON SOSTAK'S I-FUZZY TOPOLOGICAL SPACES
Roopkumar, Rajakumar,Kalaivani, Chandran Korean Mathematical Society 2011 대한수학회논문집 Vol.26 No.2
The relations among various types of continuity of fuzzy proper function on a fuzzy set and at fuzzy point belonging to the fuzzy set in the context of $\v{S}$ostak's I-fuzzy topological spaces are discussed. The projection maps are defined as fuzzy proper functions and their properties are proved.
