      • UV-TiO₂광촉매 반응기를 이용한 미생물의 살균효과

        UV-TiO_(2) 반응기를 이용하여 Escherichia coli와 Aspergillus oryzae var. oryzae의 살균효과를 측정하였다. 254 ㎚에서 최대 14 watt의 자외선 방출량을 내는 램프를 원형 Pyrex유리관 중앙에 설치하였고 TiO_(2)는 석영관에 박막증착(Thin Film Coating)된 형태와 슬러리 형태로 나누어 회분식으로 살균정도를 측정하였다. E. coli에 대한 살균력은 1.7× 10^(7) cells/㎖에 대해 5분간 자외선 조사를 하였을 경우 2.0× 10^(2) cells/㎖으로 감소하였고, 자외선 조사와 함께 슬러리 형태의 TiO_(2)를 첨가하였을 경우에는 3.4× 10 cells/㎖으로, 자외선 조사와 함께 TiO_(2)가 석영관에 박막증착된 경우에는 7.6× 10^(2) cells/㎖으로 감소하였다. 한편 위와 같은 조건에 유리관 하부에서 기포를 주입후 11분 동안 자외선을 조사시킨 경우에는 1.3× 10^(2) cells/㎖으로, 자외선 조사와 함께 슬러리 형태의 TiO_(2)를 첨가하였을 경우에는 1× 100 cells/㎖으로, 자외선 조사와 함께 TiO_(2)가 박막증착된 경우에는 7.9× 10 cells/㎖을 나타내었다. 결국 UV-TiO_(2) 반응기에 사용되는 TiO_(2)가 슬러리 형태일 때 최대 살균효과를 나타내었으나 기포가 첨가되었을때는 오히려 살균에 장애를 받는 것으로 나타난 반면 석영관에 박막증착된 경우에는 기포가 첨가되는 것이 살균에 효과적인 것으로 관찰되었다. The killing effect of UV-TiO_(2) photocatalytic system on the Escherichia coli DH5-慣 and Aspergillus oryzae var. oryzae (KCTC 6095) was studied. The UV lamp which emits maximum 14 watts at 254 nm was set on the center of pyrex round glass tube. Two types of TiO_(2), one of which is slurry and another which is thin film coated form, were used to determine the killing effect. When UV was irradiated to 1.7 * 10^(5) cells/??of E. coli for 11 min, the living cell number decreased to 4.0 * 1.0^(0) cells/?? The effect of UV system together with slurried TiO_(2) was less than 1 cells/?? whereas that of UV-coated TiO_(2) system decreased to 7.1 * 10^(3) cells/?? To study the effect of bubble on the killing of microorganisms, air was bubbled to the bottom of glass tube. When 1.7 * 10^(5) cells/??were exposed to UV for 11 min in combination with air bubble, the living cell number decreased to 1.3 x 10^(2) cells/?? In the same condition except the addition of slurried TiO_(2), the living cells were 1 * 10^(2) cells/?? However, more cells could be killed by the system which consists of UV, coated TiO_(2), and air bubble (7.9 * 10^(1) cells/??. From these results, it was found that UV-slurried system is the most effective one, but its killing effect is not stimulated by air bubble. However, bubbling was very effective in the UV-coated TiO_(2) system.

        This study presents the physical and mechanical characteristics of dredged clays from Jin-Hae costar area. Dredged clays generally used as a land reclamation materials for land use in the shoreline. Experimental studied were performed on the samples directly obtained from the field. The results of direct shear test, unconfined test and consolidation test were presented for variable water contents. From the study, it is indicated that the strength of soil is decreased as increase of water contents, and the strength is increased as time passing.

      • Swanson의 주의력결핍 장애척도의 한국판 표준화

        연구목적 : 한국판 Swanson의 주의력 결핍 장애 척도(이하 SNAP)의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고, 이를 국내 실정에서 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애 환자를 선별할 수 있는 평가용 도구로서 적합한지 여부와 연구에 사용할 수 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 1998년 7월 1일부터 2001년 9월 30일까지 영남대학교 의료원 신경정신과 외래를 방문한 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애 환자 392명과 정상대조군 432명을 대상으로 SNAP을 시행하였다. 결 과 : 남녀 간의 SNAP 척도 점수비교에서, 환자군에서는 유의한 차이가 없었으나 정상 대조군에서는 남자가 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<.01 ∼ .001). 검사-재검사 신뢰도 검증에서 신뢰도 계수는 각 하위 척도에서 .85에서 .92로 모두 만족할 만큼 높았다(p<.05). 내적일관성에 의한 신뢰도 검증에서 정상 및 환자군에서 각 하위척도별로 Cronbach α값이 .80(p.05)이상으로 나타났고, 반분신뢰도는 정상 및 환자군에서 각 하위척도별로 0.731에서 .866사이였다(p<.05). 주의결핍장애 평가 척도-가정관(Attention Deficit Disorder Evaluation Scale-Home Version) 및 소아기 집중력 문제 척도(Childhood Attentin Problem Scale)와의 준거 타당도는 ADHD 환자군에서 .342에서 .713사이였고(p<.05), 정상 대조군에서 .551에서 .789였다(p<.05). 요인분석을 해 본 결과 본 척도는 3개의 요인으로 분류되었는데, 부주의(inattention) 요인, 충동성/과잉행동(impulsivity/hyperactivity)요인, 또래 관계(peer interaction)요인으로 구분되었다. 본 척도가 정상인과 환자를 감별할 수 있는 척도인가를 알아보기 위한 감별 타당도 검사를 해본 결과 87.5%를 분류하여 높게 나타났다. 환자와 정상인을 구분하는 점수인 절단점은 표준편차 1.5를 절단점으로 잡을 때 이는 백분율로 93percentile에 해당하는 점수로서 각 소척도 점수에서 남자(0.98∼1.65)와 여자(0.64∼1.38)의 절단점이 다르게 나타났으며 남자가 높게 나타났다. 결 론 : 이상의 결과에서 볼 때 한국판 SNAP 평가 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도가 입증되었고 환자를 판별하는 능력이 우수하여 향후 ADHD 연구에 유용한 도구로 사료된다. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine reliability and validity of Swanson's attention deficit disorder sacale(SNAP). Method : SNAP was administered to 432 elementary school students and 392 patients who were diagnosed as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in Yeungnam university hospital from 1998 July to 2001 September. Results : In the reliability test, the test-retest reliability coefficient was significantly high and that of inattention was 0.85, that of impulsivity was 0.90, that of hyperactivity was 0.90 and that of peer interaction was 0.92(p<.05). In the reliability test by internal consistency, the Cronbach α coefficient was above 0.80 at each subscale in both patients and normal control group(p<.05). The split-half reliability coefficient by first-second half method showed high correlation and those of each scales were from 0.731 to 0.866 in both patients and normal control group(p<.05). The criterion validity of SNAP with Attention Deficit Disorder Evaluation Scale-Home Version(ADDES-HA) and Childhood Attention Problem Scale(CAP) scale was from 0.342 to 0.713 in patients group, from 0.551 to 0.789 in normal control group(p<0.05). The discriminant ability between ADHD and normal subjects by SNAP was 87.5%. Conclusion : In this point of view, SNAP scale showed high reliability and validity in applying to Korean subjects and was proved to be useful screening tool for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder reserch.

        서울지역 대학교 구내식당의 점심식단 분석 : 직영급식 및 위탁급식 식당의 식단 비교 Comparison between Self-operated and Contracted management

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the meal pattern and the nutritional balance in university foodservices of Seoul. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire with 317 students at five different cafeterias that served 23 meals. We weighed all the meals offered by the university foodservices, separated the foods, and calculated their nutritional content using a computer program「DS24」. We also checked the dishes and those amount students consumed from the menu. The results of this study is summarized as follows.: 1) The most prevalent menu patterns included rice, soup, two side dishes, and kimchi. 2) Most nutrient contents per meal in a given menu was lower than one third of the recommended dietary allowance(RDA). 3) The mean energy content for the amount of rice that was served was 399kcal, for the side dish, it was 107kcal, and for the kimchi, it was 9.9kcal. 4) The number of total dishes and side dishes was five and two, respectively. The dietary variety score was 16.7, and the dietary diversity score was 3. 5) The mean energy intake by students at self-operated managements were 545kcal, and at one contracted management, the energy intake were 494kcal. Both of them did not serve enough to meet one third of the RDA. Nutrient adequacy ration(NAR) was 0.4~0.9, and Index of nutritional quality(INQ) was above 0.9 for most nutrients with the exception of calcium and vitarmin B₂.

        Sedimentation of marine clays was tested by using cylindrical columns, and settling velocity and settlement were carried out to investigate the behavior of settling characteristics of dredged marine clay fills. Yano's method was applied to analyze both the settling velocity and settlement of marine clays. Four different initial water contents were used. From this study, it is found that settling velocity is significantly increased as increase of the initial water content for both column sizes, also, the test results indicated that column size remarkably affect the sedimentation of marine days.

      • 적외선 체열촬영을 이용한 당뇨병성 족부궤양의 평가

        To assess whether the development of plantar foot ulceration could be predicted from the mean plantar foot temperature(MFT), as assessed by digital infrared thermographic imaging(DITI), in patients with or without diabetic polyneuropathy or foot ulceration, 46 feet with no diabetic polyneuropathy(group Ⅰ), 40 feet with diabetic polyneuropathy(group Ⅱ), and 17 feet with diabetic foot ulcer(group Ⅲ) were assessed by DITI in six standard plantar sites and were correlated with laboratory findings (blood sugar, hemoglobin Alc, C-peptide). Total MFT was significantly higher in group Ⅲ(33.18±1.86℃) than group Ⅰ(29.13±1.63℃) or group Ⅱ(30.89±1.51℃). There were increasing tendency of focal MFT in the third metatarsal head and greater toe where revealed higher incidence of foot ulceration. There was a trend toward elevation of glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc) in groupⅢ. In conclusion, DITI is a simple, noninvasive method of idenfifying the neuropathic foot at increased risk of ulceration. Patients with high plantar foot temperature are at increased risk of neuropathic foot ulceration.
