This study was managed to develope the existing numerical calculation model of near shore current and wave fields where wave and current coexist around shallow water region, and analyse their problems. Until now, nearshore current model that include longshore current and on-off shore current had shown wave characteristic based on regular wave theory. In this study, however, nearshore current characteristic was changed by directional dispersion. So the effect of directional dispersion of multidirectional irregular wave was examined numerically by the basic study of nearshore current calculation due to multidirectional wave that was driving force of pollutant material at shallow water region.
균질화처리한 AZ31-xCa(x=0~2.0 wt.%) 중력 주조재의 열간압연 특성

The effects of homogenization on hot rolling properties of gravity cast AZ31-xCa (x=0-2.0 wt.%) alloys were evaluated by examination of surfaces and microstructures of sheets. The side cracking during hot rolling was decreased by homogenization through the elimination of local inhomogeneity and solution of brittle precipitate into matrix. The coarse grains in raw materials were changed to fine grains with the average particle size of 5-10 μm by repeated hot rolling through the dynamic recrystallization. A deformation twinning was more favorably formed in the hot-rolled sheets after homogenization. It is considered that the grains grow and the precipitates are solved into the matrix during homogenization heat treatment, which results in the increased possibility of formation of deformation twinning during hot rolling. Background: Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, consumers’ interest in the environment has increased. This has also led to increased interest in eco-friendly products and cosmetics. To increase consumers’ purchase intention of eco-friendly cosmetics, this study explores the influence of consumer innovativeness and cosmetic selection attributes on their purchase intention of eco-friendly cosmetics. Objective: This study aims to provide practical marketing data for eco-friendly cosmetic companies and contribute to increasing consumers’ purchase intention. Methods: This study collected data through self-administered surveys and analyzed the collected data using SPSS ver. 24.0. Results: Our statistical analysis shows that the functional, hedonic, cognitive, and social innovativeness of consumer innovativeness and the brand, quality, and price of cosmetic selection attributes positively (+) influence purchase intention of eco-friendly cosmetics. Conclusion: Our statistical results show that consumer innovativeness and cosmetic selection attributes positively influence the purchase intention of eco-friendly cosmetics. We expect that targeting consumers who have high consumer innovativeness and favor brand-, quality-, and price-centered marketing can increase consumers’ positive purchase intention.
Dietary habits and gastroesophageal reflux disease in preschool children

Purpose: To identify the relationship between dietary habits and childhood gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in preschool children. Methods: We performed a questionnaire study to analyze the relationship between dietary habits and GERD in 85 preschool children with GERD and 117 healthy children of the same age. Results: Irregular and picky eating were more p–revalent in the GERD group than in the control group (odds ratio [OR], 4.14; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.37–12.54 and OR, 4.96; 95% CI, 1.88–13.14, respectively). The snack preferences and the late night eating habits were significantly more prevalent in the GERD group than in the control group (OR, 3.83; 95% CI, 1.23–11.87 and OR, 9.51; 95% CI, 2.55–35.49, respectively). A preference for liquid foods was significantly more prevalent in the GERD group (OR, 9.51; 95% CI, 2.548–35.485). The dinner-to-bedtime interval was significantly shorter in the GERD group than in the control group (157.06±48.47 vs. 174.62±55.10, P=0.020). In addition, the time between dinner and bedtime was shorter than 3 hours in 47 children (55.3%) of the GERD group and 44 (37.6%) of the control group. This difference was statistical significance (P=0.015). Conclusion: Dietary habits such as picky and irregular eating, snack preference, a preference of liquid foods, late night eating, and a shorter dinner-to-bedtime interval had a significant correlation with GERD. Further large-scale studies are necessary to confirm our results.

다른 분율의 Cs이 포함된 Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ 촉매를 제조하여 셀룰로우스의 폴리올로의 수소화분해반응를 수행하였다. 촉매의 비표면적과 Pt의 분산도는 Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ 촉매의 Cs 함량이 증가함에 따라 증가하였다. 그러나 Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ 촉매의 Cs의 함량이 변함에도 불구하고 비슷한 폴리올 수득률을 보였다. Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ 촉매의 반응 활성은 Ni/W/SBA-15와 두 가지의 복합촉매(Pt/AC+$H_3PW_{12}O_{40}$과 Pt/AC+$Cs_{3.0}PW_{12}O_{40}$)와 비슷하였다. 이 반응을 진행하는 동안 Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ 촉매로부터 헤테로폴리 음이온이 침출되는 것을 확인하였다. The hydrogenolysis of cellulose into polyols was examined over Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ catalysts containing different Cs fractions. The surface area and Pt dispersion of Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ catalysts were found to increase with Cs content. Similar polyol yields were obtained over Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ catalysts irrespective of their Cs content. The catalytic activity of Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ was comparable to that of Ni/W/SBA-15 and combined catalytic systems such as Pt/AC+$H_3PW_{12}O_{40}$ and Pt/AC + $Cs_{3.0}PW_{12}O_{40}$. Some polyanion species were found to leach from the Pt/$Cs_xH_{3-x}PW_{12}O_{40}$ catalyst during the course of the reaction.

To synthesize non-corrosive metallic gold colored α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> nanoplate-TiO<sub>2</sub> core-shell pigments with controlled roughness, we systematically checked the morphological variation of the TiO<sub>2</sub> shell with the mole ratio of TiCl<sub>4</sub> and NaOH from 1 : 1 to 1 : 1.5, 1 : 2, 1 : 2.5, 1 : 3, 1 : 3.5, and 1 : 4. The more increased mole ratio of TiCl<sub>4</sub> and NaOH resulted in the smoother TiO<sub>2</sub> shell due to the promoted formation of anatase TiO<sub>2</sub> than that of the rutile one. By the heat-treatment of pigments at 500 ℃, we could improve the adhesiveness between TiO<sub>2</sub> shell and α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> nanoplates without changing their topology and roughness. In addition, the α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> nanoplate with the robust TiO<sub>2</sub> by heat-treatment exhibited comparable photo-stability against photo-catalytic degradation by UV exposure compared with the commercially available α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub> lustering pigment.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Solid acid catalysts based on silica–alumina (SiO<SUB>2</SUB>-Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>) were used for promoting furfural production from D-xylose, and the partial least squares model was applied to develop an empirical kinetic model. Considering the experimental error and measurement noise, ∼85% of variances for the output block comprising the D-xylose conversion and selectivities were used by employing three latent variables, and the comparison between experimental and simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness of the model. The effects of the operating conditions, including xylose concentration, temperature, and space velocity were evaluated using the developed model, and optimal conditions for the maximum furfural productivity were determined.</P>
