        The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between isokinetic muscle function and muscle cross-sectional area (CSA). Twelve women participated in the present study, divided young (n=6, 23.7±1.9 year) and elderly women (n=6, 60.3±6.8 year). Isokinetic strength (power, strength, endurance) and CSA (psoas major and thigh muscles) measured with dynamometer and computerized tomograph, respectively. Cross-sectional area of psoas major muscle in elderly group revealed markedly smaller than in young group, but thigh muscle was not the case. Muscle CSA in young women correlated between power and endurance and psoas major muscle, as well as between muscle strength and CSA of thigh muscle. But no correlation occurred between strength and cross sectional area, except endurance which was highly correlated between CSA and endurance. In conclusion, aging decreases muscle function and CSA. Partially muscle strength correlated with muscle CSA in young women, but no correlation occurred in elderly women. Further study needed to elucidate the exact mechanism related to aging muscle with muscle density and neuromuscular function.

        Structures, Nanomechanics, and Disintegration of Single-Wall GaN Nanotubes: Atomistic Simulations

        We have investigated the structural, mechanical, and thermal properties of single-walled GaN nanotubes by using atomistic simulations and a Tersoff-type potential. The Tersoff potential for GaN eectively describes the properties of GaN nanotubes. The nanomechanics of GaN nanotubes under tensile and compressive loadings have also been investigated, and Young's modulus has been calculated. The caloric curves of single-walled GaN nanotubes can be divided into three regions corresponding to nanotubes, the disintegrating range, and vapor. Since the stability or the stiness of a tube decreases with increasing curving sheet-to-tube strain energy, the disintegration temperatures of GaN nanotubes are closely related to the curving sheet-to-tube strain energy.

        In this paper, we propose the technique for recognizing the human's emotion by using the color image. To do this, Detect face using skin color abstraction method from color image. And we propose the method for finding man's feature points(eyebrows, eye, nose, mouse) from the face image and the geometrical method for recognizing human's emotion (surprise, anger, happiness, sadness) from the structural correlation of man's feature points. The proposed method in this paper recognize the human's emotion by the Fuzzy. Finally, we have proven the effectiveness of the proposed method through the experimentation.

        SBCD(School Based Curriculum Development)에 따른 교육과정 개발 방법의 고찰

        본 연구의 목적은 교육과정 개발이 갖는 역동성에 주목하여 SBCD의 특성을 검토하고 학교 수준에서 교육과정을 개발하는 데 필요한 방법에 대해서 고찰하는 데 있다. 여기서 말하는 방법이란 특정 교육과정 개발의 목적 및 의도를 달성하기 위한 수단과 그것을 실시하는 절차 및 기술을 말하는 것이다. 본 연구자는 SBCD에 대한 당위론적 주장을 극복하기 위해서는 방법적 논의가 필요하다고 보고, 교육과정 개발의 역동성이라는 측면에서 SBCD에 따른 교육과정 개발 방법에 대해서 고찰하여 우리나라 학교교육 상황에서 그 실천가능성과 문제점을 검토해 보고자 한다. 이와 같은 연구목적에서 이루어진 고찰을 바탕으로 보면, 먼저 SBCD는 각 학교의 현실에 맞는 교육과정 개발에 목적 및 의도를 두고 60년대의 RDD에 따른 국가 수준의 교육과정 개발의 대안으로 OECD가입국을 중심으로 하여 70년대에 등장한 것임을 알 수 있다. 그러나 SBCD에 따른 교육과정 개발의 방법은 단순히 학교에만 한정시키는 것이 아니라, 그 국가의 사회·문화적 특성에 따라 형성된 전체적인 교육 시스템 하에서 논의되어야 한다고 생각한다. SBCD의 목적 및 의도를 달성하기 위한 방법은 종래의 교육과정 패캐지 또는 자료, 문서작성과 같은 활동에서 벗어나 역동적 교육과정 개발관을 필요로 한다. 왜냐하면 SBCD가 갖는 상호작용적 특성 때문이다. 즉 국가 교육과정과 SBCD간 및 교사를 중심으로 한 참가자들간, 개발단계간, 개발에 다른 교육과정 구성요서간의 상호작용이 이루어진다는 것이다. 이러한 상호작용은 교육과정 개발의 역동성을 유지·지속시키는 원천이 된다. 본 연구에서는 이것을 위해서 '수업상황을 기반으로 한 교육과정 개발'과 '상황분석을 기반으로 한 교육과정 개발', '교육과정 개발의 지원 시스템의 구축을 제시하고 있다. 또한 SBCD에 따른 교육과정 개발에서 교사에게 요구되는 전문성의 하나로 '상황분석의 역량'을 제안하고 있다. The purposes of this study are examining; 1) the characteristics of the SBCD by considering the dynamism of curriculum development, and 2) the method for curriculum development in school level. The method includes means for achieving the purpose of a curriculum development, and process and skill for implementing the curriculum in this study. This study consists of four main topics for the purposes, which are 1) the dynamism of curriculum development, 2) the change of curriculum development theory by the SBCD, 3) the point of dispute in the method of curriculum development of the SBCD, and 4) the framework of the SBCD. According to the study, it is proved that the SBCD appeared for curriculum development by each school in the 1970s mainly from the OECD members instead of using national curriculum in the 1960s. However, the relationship between the SBCD and the national curriculum is interdependent. So that the method of curriculum development of the SBCD should consider both each school situation and education system formed by social and cultural characteristics of the country. To achieve the purpose and intention of the SBCD, it is necessary to have a view of dynamic curriculum development because the SBCD has an interdependent relationship with the national curriculum. According to the dynamic curriculum development, there is interaction not only between the national curriculum and the SBCD but also within curriculum development steps, participants and curriculum elements. This interaction keeps the dynamism of curriculum development. This study shows 'curriculum development based on class situation', 'curriculum development based on situation analysis', 'construction of supporting system for curriculum development' and 'support system of curriculum development'. And this study suggested capability of situation analysis as a teacher's professionalism for curriculum development.

      • 인버터 구동시의 유도전동기의 정상상태특성

        In this paper. the Γ type eqivalent circuit is used to analyze the steady state characteristics of induction motor driven by inverter source. The base tests for equivalent circuit parameters of induction motor are a no-load test by rated frequency (60Hz) and a blocked rotor test by 25% of rated frequency (15Hz) which are perfomed with inverter source. and measurement of the de resistance of the stator winding. To determine more accurate parameters, four simultaneous equations obtained from equivalent circuit of the no-load test and blocked rotor test are solved by using initial values which are evaluated from simplifed equivalent circuits. The induction motor performances are computed by using these parameters and compared with measured values of the tested motor. Then it is found that the compared results show good agreement between them.

      • A Study on Dissolution of Chitin

        Several kinds of solvent system were applied to dissolve chitin which acknowledged as a raw material for biomedical application. Solvent systems were N-methylmorpholineoxide(NMMO) or mixture with water or mixtrure with dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO) or mixture with acetonitrile and mixture of trichloroacetic acid(TCA) with methylene chloride(MC). Among them mixture of TCA with MC appears the best solvent system for chitin. Chitin in this solvent showed clear sloution after few hours of dissolution.

      • 초고속 라우터 기술

        인터넷 사용자 수의 급격한 증가로 인하여 라우터 활용이 많아지고 있으며, IPv4의 한계로 인하여 IPv6가 제안되었다. 이러한 상황을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 IPv6 지원을 위한 초고속 라우터에 대한 연구가 진행 중이며, 기존의 IPv4 망과 IPv6 망을 연동하기 위한 방안이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 초고속 라우터 설계를 위해서 고려해야 할 사항에 대해 모듈별로 특성을 연구하여 IPv6 지원을 위해 라우터에서 필요한 사항을 알아보도록 한다. 그리고 IPv4 망과 IPv6 망과의 연동을 위한 IPv4/IPv6 연동 기법에 대해 살펴보도록 한다. The rapid growth of the Internet users causes increment of router usage, and IPv6 is proposed for the limitation of IPv4. To solve the problem, IPv6 based high speed router has been proceeded, and the transition methods of the existing IPv4 and IPv6 have also been proceeded. In this paper, the requirements of IPv6 based router are proposed for the design of high speed router architecture by separate modules. The transition methods of IPv4 network and IPv6 network are also proposed.

        지방이식의 다양한 임상적 이용

        Generally alloplastic matrials such as collagen compound and liquid silicone injection. or autologous fat injection have been used for correction of surface irregularity. But, except for autologous fat injection, the other methods have been proved to be not effective or even dangerous. Then with the explosion in the popularity of liposuction, the autologous fat injection has been applied to variable clinical uses for contouring of the soft tissue irregularities. The author performed main operations with fat injection as ancillary procedure in 16 patients from 1993 to 1996, and long term follow-ups were reported. The lesions treated most frequently were cheeks, and others were thighs, legs, nasolabial folds and upper eyelids in order of frequency. The donor sites were lower abdomen, thigh, buttock and cheek. Our method of fat injection was used as an ancillary procedure for improving post-operative results in variable cases (craniofacial microsomia, fibrous dysplasia, asymmetry of leg, etc). And the important technical points in our method for reducing the absorption of fat after injection were atraumatic liposuction, multilayered dispersed injection, and 20% overcorrection. We obtained satisfactory aethetic results without major complications.

        With two Gymnastics players, three Basketball players, four Baseball players, four Football players as the Subjects, this study was made in order to reveal the degree of Physical Work Capacity (PWC) 170 by measuring how Heart Rate would change when they run on the Treadmill. The Results are as following: 1. In max Heart Rate, Baseball players were the highest as 209.00±4.90 beats/min, Gymnastics players were 195.50±3.54 beats/min, Football players were 192.00 ± 7.02 beats/min and Basketball players were the lowest as 187.00 ± 8.89 beats/min. 2. In max Running time and Running distance, Football players were the highest, 11.66 ± 0.59 minutes as Running time, 2450.3 ± 151.28m as Running distance, Basketball players were 11.21 ± 1.73 minutes and 2358.9 ± 381.77m, Baseball players were 10.69 ± 0.47 minutes and 2256.9 ± 104.60m and Gymnastics Players were the lowest, 8.50 ± 0.03 minutes and 1721.80 ± 9.90m. 3. In Heart Rate increase while they run on Treadmill, it was totally the highest in Baseball players, and was appeared orderly in Gymnastics players, in Football players, and in Basketball players. % HR max was appeared generally that Gymnastics players were appeared the highest, and was appeared orderly Baseball players, Basketball players, Football players. 4. In Heart Rate change while the Recovery, the Basketball players were appeared generally low Heart Rate at the Sometime, and was appeared orderly Football players, Gymnastics players, Baseball players. % H.R. max, Basketball players was recovered the fastest speed. Within 4min recovery it was appeared quickly that was orderly Basketball players, Baseball players, and after 4min was appeared orderly Basketball players, Gymnastics players, Baseball players, Football players. 5. In PWC 170 test, Basketball players were appeared superior that 9.09 min in Running time and 1781.0m in Running distance, and 240m/min in load and 6% in slope. And next Football players were appeared 7.27 min in Running time, 1463.4m in Running distance, 220m/min in load, and 5% in slope, Gymnastics players were appeared 5.53 min in Running time, 968.0m in Running distance, 200m/min in load and 4% in slope. Baseball players were appeared inferior that was 12 min in Running time, 704.0m in Running distance, 200m/min in load, and 4% in slope.
