The purpose of this study was to develop injury prevention program for women soccer players. Subject were all the members of korean national women youth soccer team (U-19). The length of both feet was measured, and 24 female soccer players were divided into 3 groups according to her length difference between both feet. In A group, the length of right foot was equal to that of left. In B group, the difference between both feet length was under 2mm. In C group, the difference between both feet length was above 3mm. Injury score was awarded by medical doctor and team doctor to each person after interview. Ball speed of both leg was measured by speed gun, balance was by stork stand As a result, about 80% of subjects were included in B and C group. Pearson's r was .590 between the foot length difference and injury score (p<.01), especially the highest 'r' was shown between the foot length difference and ankle injury score (r=.745, p<.01). No significance was shown between the foot length difference and ball speed, but significant difference was shown between the foot length difference and balance (p<.05).

The purpose of this study was to develop the lecture model as liberal arts which have the positive effects to promote physical activity and to decrease obesity-dated variables. Subjects in this study were women university students, and they were divided into two groups to voluntary applying; one was tennis group (n=10), the other table tennis group (n=10). Physical activity promotion program in this study was practiced one time a week, 130 min. one time with the intensity under 83% predicted HR max for 15 weeks. Anthropometrics, body fat(%), blood lipid profile were measured before and after attending the program, respectively. After 15-week-physical activity promotion program, body weight, BMI, WHR, body fat(%), total cholesterol concentration, triacylglyceride concentration were decreased significantly in both groups (p<.5). Resting heart rate was decreased significantly only in tennis group (p<.5). No significance was shown in systolic and diastolic blood pressure to both groups.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of school-feeding & non school-feeding on physique and physical fitness in children. The subjects of this study were on 6th grade(11years, N=9,089 M:4599, F:4490) who took physique test, 1,277(M:656, F:621) children took physical fitness test in Pusan municipal elementary school. From the result and discussions of this study, the conclusions are as follows: 1. school-feeding A children was better than school-feeding B children and non school-feeding children in the physique(p<.001). 2. In physical fitness test, school-feeding children were superior in 100m dash and standing board jump with male and female(p<.001), non school-feeding children were superior in distance race(600m), throw(male), arm-pulls(female), sit-ups(male).

The purpose of this study was to compare the accuracy of three different types of earface-bows with a true hinge axis and with five conventional arbitrary axis methods. Fifty subjects, 21 to 29 years of age, with clinically normal temporomandibular joint were selected from dental students and dental hygienic students for this study. And all of the subjects were trained to terminal hige axis and hinge movement. A 3㎝ square piece of millimeter graph paper was attatched to the skin in the region anterior to the tragus of the ear. Since the integument in the area was readily movable and influenced by the position of the head rest, all subjects were positioned erect in the chair with no head rest support while true hinge axis point and eight arbitrary axis points were marked on graph paper. The results of this study have been summarized as follows: Ninty-five percent of the method using the Twirl-Bow were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axis, and the mean distance rrom the kinematic axis was 2.71±1.49mm. Eighty-two percent of the method using Quick Mount Face-Bow were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axis, and the mean distance from the kinematic axis was 3.29±1.76mm. Eight hty-one percent of the method using the Slidematic Facebow were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axis, and the mean distance from the kinematic axis was 3.30±2.22mm. Eighty-eight percent of Bergstrom's points were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axis, and the mean distance from the kinematic axis was 3.15±1.43mm. Eighty-seven percent of Gisi's points were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axis, and the mean distance from the kinematic axis was 3.23±1.54mm. Eighty-two percent of Beyron's points were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axis, and the mean distance from the kinematic axis was 3.72±1.68mm. Fifty-one percent of Simpson's points were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axis, and the mean distance from the kinematic axis was 5.01±2.02mm. Forty-two percent of Teteruck and Lundeen's points were within 5mm of the points of the kinematic axi is and the mean distance from the kinematic axis was 5.37±1.74mm. The acceptable degree of accuracy in hinge axis location by kinematic means is 1mm but in all methods of this study, less than 15 percent of the selected arbitrary point were within a 1mm radius from the terminal hinge axis point.

Voltatile flavor components in salt-fermented Gizzard shad were analyzed by simultaneous steam distillation-solvent extraction gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. One hundred compounds were detected in sample. These compounds were composed mainly of aldehydes(15), ketones(14), alcohols(18), aromatic compounds(7), N-containing compounds(9), esters(15),S-containing compounds(8) and miscellaneous compounds(14). The alcohols were the large amounts in the number of flavor compounds detected in sample. But these compounds may not have an impact on sample flavor because of their high flavor thresholds. The flavor compounds such as aldehydes, ketones, N-containing compounds, esters and S-containing compounds were supposed to be playing a major role in salt-fermented Gizzard shad.

This study was conducted to identify irradiation-derived volatile components, having positive-correlation with irradiation doses, which may play roles as maker materials for detecting post-irradiation in pork meat. The volatile components of irradiated(0, 1, 3, 5 and 10 kGy doses) pork(Belly) meat was analyzed by liquid liquid continuous extraction(LLCE)/GC/MSD methods. By the results of linear regression analysis between irradiation doses and volatile component amounts in fresh pork, 3 compounds including γ-octalactone(r=0.82), 1-octen-3-ol(r=0.90) and butanoic acid(r=0.81) had high correlations with irradiation doses.

Bacillus cereus KCTC 3674 produced at least two kinds of extracellular proteases. Two major bands of the protease activity with molecular weights of approximately 100 and 38 kDa were obtained after gelatin-SDS-PAGE. The production of extracellular proteases occurred during the logarithmic growth phase and was greatest when cultures reached the stationary growth phase. On the other hand, the growth of B. cereus KCTC 3674 and the production of its extracellular proteases were severely inhibited by the addition of protonophore carbonylcyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP). Thus, it was concluded that the growth of B. cereus KCTC 3674 and the production of its extracellular pretenses were strongly affected by a H+ electrochemical potential.
