        Background/Aims: Retroperitoneal fibrosis is a fibrosing disease process which frequently develops ureteral obstruction. Malignant retroperitoneal fibrosis has been reported that various types of cancer including cancer of the breast, stomach, prostate, lung, cervix, uteri, colon, pancreas, ovary, and even Hodgkin's disease. While the pathogenesis remains obscure, small foci of metastatic neoplasm in the retroperitoneal space can elicit a desmoplastic reaction in secondary form to malignancy. Methods: Recently we experienced 7 cases of retroperitoneal fibrosis with advanced gastric cancer. So, we report 7 cases of retroperitoneal fibrosis with clinical and radiologic characteristics. Results: The most common signs and symptoms were related irreversible renal dysfunction. The urologic finding noted medial deviation of the involved ureters and hydronephrosis Conclusions: Clinical manifestations are abdominal pain, back pain, hydronephrosis, and uremia. When sudden back pain and hydronephrosis develop in advanced malignancy, physicians should be considerd for retroperitoneal fibrosis.

        Mobile nodes in ad hoc mobile networks typically communicate over wireless channels and are capable of movement. These are networks that support multihop communication and can be formed on a temporary basis. This paper proposes a solution that allows mobile nodes to access the wired Internet and to roam from base station to base station. And we also develop the efficient method that adapts in Global MANET which can be changed over time. It is observed that we can reduce not only error detection time but also network load, thus increasing the data reception rate in Global MANET Environment.

      • 의약품중 잔류유기용매 시험법 확립에 관한 연구

        Headspace-GC(딘5-GC)를 이용하여 ICH 잔류웅매 가이드라인 class 1, 2에 속하는 28종의 잔류유기웅매 분석방법을 연군한 결과 SPB-5, BB-WAX column을 동시 이용하여 각각을 확인, 정량할 수 있었다.또한 염의 참가효과, 평형시간,평형온도가 headspace분석에 미치는 영향을 검토한 결과 평형 시간 30분,평형온도 85℃,Na₂SO₄Ig을 첨가하여 시험할 때 최적 부넉조건을 나타내었다. 회수율은 1,1-achloroethene(68.3%)를 제외하고 90.9 ~ 114.5%로 패체적으로 양호하였다. 따로 HS-GCJECD, DB-524 column을 이용하여 9종의 잔류유기용매에 대하여 각각의 검랸선을 작성하고 검출한계를 구하였다. 실제 의약품 원료 10종및 제제 5종에 적용시킨 결과 모두 불검출되었으며 본 시험법은 의약품중의 잔류유기용매 분석에 적용할 수 있는 방법이라고 판단된다. The headspace-fC/FID(HS -GC/FID) method was performed for test method developnlent of residu;31 organic solvents in pfrarmaceuticals. Using SPB-S and BB-WAXcolumn, 28 kinds of solvents iri ICH residual sof)·ents guidetine class 1, 2 couBd be individuallt-identified and quantitated. The foIBowing residoal soIYents were not detected by the headspaceinjection condition : N,N-Cmethylacetamide, N,N-dimeth)rlformamide, ethyfeneglycol, formamide,2-methoryethanot, N-rnethylpyrrolidone, suBforane. The effects of the addition of salts,equilibration time, and equilibration temperature on headspace analt·sis were invesugated. Theoptimum conditions weiFe obtained with addtion of Ifa2s04 19 as a salt, simultaneously. thetime and temperature of equitibration were 30min and 8i'f, respectivety. The recovery havefound between 90.9 and 114.5% except 1,1-dichloroethene(fi8.3%). Using DB-624 column &HS-GC/:ECD method, 9 kinds of residual solvents could be individually identified andfuantitated. This HS-GC method can be applied to test the residua3 organic solvent in thepharmaceuticals.

      • 2차원 스토커 소각론의 SNCR 탈질기술개발에 대한 수치해석

        In this study was the stoker incinerator system with SNCR(Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction). While this system was favored with the view of the possibility of the reducing waste volume and recovery of waste heat, it also has a disadvantage, that is, the need for the second to treat dust, HCl, CO, etc. So far, even though a great deal of research had been done, the study on heat-flow analysis with reduction model and NO reduction with SNCR had not been investigated enough. The temperature distribution in the system and excess amount of oxygen influence the efficiency of NO reduction, resolution in the production, resolution in the production of NO at 1700K and the temperature range of 1200-1250K when the highest NOx reduction efficiency occurred. Hence, this study was focused to flow mixing pattern and NOx reduction efficiency as the flue gas velocity, NH3 injection velocity, particle size and particle density.

      • Squalene Adjuvant를 이용한 단백질 항원의 세포성 면역반응 유도

        To investigate the role of adjuvant for cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) induction, squalene-based adjuvant was studied its capability eliciting to the induction of cellular immunity as well as humoral immunity to exogeneous proteins. Ovalbumin (OVA) was used as model proteins. It was demonstrated that antigen formulation consisted of metabolizable oil squalene mixed with Tween 80 and pluronic L121 (S/TJ121) could induced the antigen specific CTL responses and antibodies irrespective of immunization routes in mice. We also demonstrated that this antigen formulation was a inducer of CD8+, major histocompatibility complex(MHC) class I-restricted, and antigen-specific C;1'Ls. These data suggest that the squalene-based emulsion system is a potent adjuvant inducing cellular immunity as well as humoral immunity.

        <P><I>Ophiocordyceps sinensis</I> is a natural fungus that has been valued as a health food and used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. The fungus is parasitic and colonizes insect larva. Naturally occurring <I>O. sinensis</I> thrives at high altitude in cold and grassy alpine meadows on the Himalayan mountain ranges. Wild <I>Ophiocordyceps</I> is becoming increasingly rare in its natural habitat, and its price limits its use in clinical practice. Therefore, the development of a standardized alternative is a great focus of research to allow the use of <I>Ophiocordyceps</I> as a medicine. To develop an alternative for wild <I>Ophiocordyceps</I>, a refined standardized extract, CBG-CS-2, was produced by artificial fermentation and extraction of the mycelial strain <I>Paecilomyces hepiali</I> CBG-CS-1, which originated from wild <I>O. sinensis</I>. In this study, we analyzed the <I>in vitro</I> immune-modulating effect of CBG-CS-2 on natural killer cells and B and T lymphocytes. CBG-CS-2 stimulated splenocyte proliferation and enhanced Th1-type cytokine expression in the mouse splenocytes. Importantly, <I>in vitro</I> CBG-CS-2 treatment enhanced the killing activity of the NK-92MI natural killer cell line. These results indicate that the mycelial culture extract prepared from <I>Ophiocordyceps</I> exhibits immune-modulating activity, as was observed <I>in vivo</I> and this suggests its possible use in the treatment of diseases caused by abnormal immune function.</P>

        물류기업의 지속가능경영 역량이 물류서비스 품질에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        제조기업을 포함한 화주기업들의 지속가능경영에 대한 관심이 높아지는 가운데, 물류기업의 지속가능경영 및 관련 역량에 대한 관심은 상대적으로 낮은 상황이다. 그러나 고객, 정부 등 이해관계자들의 지속가능경영에 대한 관심이 증가하는 가운데 물류기업의 지속가능경영 역량의 보유 유무 및 그 수준이 화주기업의 물류기업 선택에 영향을 줄 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 물류기업 입장에서는 한정된 인력, 재원을 보유한 상태에서 다양한 지속가능경영 역량을 모두 제고하는 것은 쉽지 않은 상황이다. 따라서 다양한 지속가능경영 역량들 중에서 화주기업이 느끼는 물류서비스 품질에 보다 많은 영향을 주는 역량들을 선별해 내고 집중 투자할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 주요 물류기업 한 곳을 선정하여 해당 기업과 관련 화주기업들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 뒤, 물류기업의 지속가능경영 역량과 화주기업의 물류서비스 품질관련 요구사항 사이의 연관관계를 품질기능전개(QFD) 기법을 이용하여 분석한다. 연구결과는 향후 국내 물류기업들이 지속가능경영 역량 관련해서 우선 투자해야 할 분야를 선정할 때 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. While shippers including manufacturing firms are having more interests in sustainable management, logistics firms seem to have much lower interests in sustainable management. Due to the continuous pressure of outside stakeholder such as customer and government, shippers might consider the capability of sustainable management of logistics firms when choosing their logistics partners. However, it is not easy for logistics firms to increase the overall capability of sustainable management dramatically because of the limited human and financial resources. Thus, the logistics firms need to focus on the several specific capabilities of sustainable management which can affect the quality of logistics service from the viewpoint of shippers. In this paper, we chose a representative Korean logistics firm and its shippers, and then conducted the quality function deployment (QFD) in order to investigate the relationship between the capability of sustainable management of the logistics firm and the quality of logistics service perceived by the shipper. The research results will be helpful for the Korean logistics firms to decide the relative importance of various capabilities of sustainable management.

        혐기처리 녹차의 품질 변화 억제에 적합한 포장방법

        Green tea was stored at aluminum bags after N2 gas exposure for anaerobic packing. by addition of silica bag or vacuum treatment at room temperature. From on fourth month, N2 gas treated green tea showed lower amount of nitrogen, amino acids, tannins, caffeines, chlorophyll vitamin C or fatty acid, compared to that of starting green tea. In aluminum packing, green tea with silica bag was kept its original quality for one month but was not kept from 2nd months. However, green tea treated vacuum was kept its original quality for 6 months. On 6th month storage, the a-color values of green tea treated N2 gas did not show any difference either with (-10.22) or without silica bag (-10.18). These color values was similar with that of green tea treated vacuum stored for 10 month with -10.15. As result of sensory evaluation, green tea in aluminum packing for 6 months received 74 points or 73 points with or without silica bag but green tea for 12 months received 53 points or 57 points with or without silica bag. Interestingly, when green tea in aluminum packing was treated vacuum, it received 75 points with 10th months product. This results indicated that green tea in aluminum packing could be kept its quality 4 months more by vacuum treatment whether silica bag is added or not. In this study, we concluded that green tea should be stored at aluminum bags after N2 gas exposure and vacuum treatment at room temperature.
