        Dependence of the Magnetic Anisotropy on the Ratio of the Thicknesses of the Magnetic and Conductive Layers

        Control of the magnetic anisotropy is important for the sensitivity of giant Magnetoimpednace(GMI) magnetic sensors. Our research group proposed an effective magnetic anisotropy controlmethod that uses inverse-magnetostriction and the difference in thermal expansion coefficients. Ifthe proposed method is to be used, an investigation the ratio of the thicknesses between two layers(magnetic and conductive layers) is required because the sensitivity of proposed GMI sensor isdetermined by the ratio. In this paper, we introduce the dependence of magnetic anisotropy on theratio of the thicknesses between the two layers to develop a GMI sensor with a high, and adjustable,sensitivity. The generated magnetic anisotropy (Hk(t)) in the magnetic layer depends on the shapeanisotropy (Hk(s)) and the induced anisotropy (Hk(i)). To control the magnetic anisotropy, wechange the thickness of the magnetic layer. The Hk(s), the Hk(i) and the generated bending stressesare numerically analyzed. In addition, the Hk(t) is obtained experimentally. Based on this study,we found Hk(t) to be inversely proportional to the stress.

        Antimelanogenic and antioxidant effects of trimethoxybenzene derivatives: methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoate, ethyl 3,4,5- trimethoxybenzoate, methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate, and ethyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate

        In this study, derivatives of trimethoxybenzene were investigated as inhibitors of melanogenesis. We examined the effects of methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoate (MTB), ethyl 3,4,5- trimethoxybenzoate (ETB), methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate (MTC), and ethyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate (ETC). First, the inhibitory effects of these agents on melanin production were evaluated using α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH)- stimulated B16F10 melanoma cells. We found that all derivatives decreased α-MSH-induced melanin production in B16F10 melanoma cells; ETC showed a strong inhibitory effect at half of the concentration of the other derivatives. As tyrosinase is considered a key enzyme of melanogenesis, we also examined whether the derivatives inhibited tyrosinase activity. MTC and ETC reduced mushroom tyrosinase activity and expression levels of α-MSH-induced B16F10 cellular tyrosinase protein. Inhibitory effects of all derivatives on α-MSH-induced B16F10 cellular tyrosinase activity were shown in a dose-dependent manner. Additionally, the derivatives were exposed to diphenylpicrylhydrazyl free radical to examine their antioxidant characteristics. All derivatives showed considerable antioxidant activity, which was 2-fold higher than that of arbutin. In conclusion, the trimethoxybenzene derivatives, including MTB, ETB, MTC, and ETC exerted anti-melanogenic and antioxidant effects on α-MSHstimulated melanogenesis, demonstrating their potential for use as novel hypopigmenting agents and antioxidants.

        Bisphosphonate Treatment for Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis in an Adolescent

        Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis (CRMO) is a non-bacterial inflammatory disorder of unknown cause occurring in children and adolescents. It is characterized by the insidious onset of pain and swelling to multifocal involved bones, recurring over months to years. Non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and steroids are the first choice for the initial and relapse treatment. However, multifocal and frequent relapses might require more intensive anti-inflammatory treatment. Here, we report that an adolescent with CRMO refractory to antibiotics, NSAIDs and steroids over a two-year responded well to bisphosphonate. To our knowledge, this is the first case using bisphosphonate in adolescent refractory CRMO in Korea. (J Rheum Dis 2016;23:271-275)

        Spontaneous Spinal Epidural Hematoma in a Patient on Cilostazol

        Cilostazol is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor that has been shown to have similar efficacy in stroke prevention but fewer hemorrhagic events compared with aspirin. We report a case of spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma (SSEH) in a 67-year-old woman who has been treated with cilostazol for cerebral infarction. The patient was presented with sudden neck pain and right hemiparesis. Thirteen days after the onset, she recovered completely. Even cilostazol, which is a relatively safer drug in terms of bleeding risk compared to other antiplatelet agents, may cause SSEH. Therefore, physicians should keep in mind rare, but potentially fatal, bleeding complications such as SSEH when prescribing antiplatelet agents.

        전기로 제강 환원 슬래그 혼합토의 지반공학적 특성

        철강의 생산 중에 부산물로 발생하는 전기로 제강 환원슬래그는 토질안정제로서의 적용성, 결합재 및 팽창재로서 활용법에 대한 약간의 연구 보고만 있을 뿐, 전기로 제강 환원슬래그 재활용에 관한 연구 및 시공실적은 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구는 전기로 제강 환원슬래그를 토목 분야에 재활용할 수 있는 방법을 모색하는데 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 SEM, XRF 시험을 수행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 풍화토 및 점토와 환원슬래그를 일정한 혼합율로 혼합한 후, 환원슬래그 혼합토의 물리?공학적 특성을 고찰하기 위한 다양한 지반공학적 실내시험을 수행하였다. 다짐시험에서는 환원슬래그의 혼합율이 증가할수록 최대건조단위중량이 감소하고 최적함수비는 증가하였다. 이것은 환원슬래그를 성토재 및 재하재로 사용할 경우, 환원슬래그가 혼합된 풍화토는 지내력의 증가 등의 관점에서는 성토재 및 재하재로 적합하지 않음을 의미한다. 환원슬래그와 풍화토를 혼합한 환원슬래그 혼합토의 전단강도 특성은 일반적인 모래의 내부마찰각보다 약간 크거나 비슷하였고, 투수특성 또한 실트 또는 모래와 비슷한 결과를 확인하였다. 환원슬래그와 점토를 혼합한 환원슬래그 혼합토의 일축압축강도는 순수점토의 일축압축강도보다 크게 나타났고, 재령일수가 증가함에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 따라서 연약점토 지반의 표층개량에 적용할 경우 개량효과가 있을 것으로 판단된다. Only a few studies have been conducted using reduced slag as recycled material. The reduced slag in electric furnace is produced as a by-product in making a steel and a few applications of the reduced slag as expensive additives and bonding materials or as the stabilized soils was reported. The purpose of this study is to present the feasibility of the reduced slag as recycled material, especially, in a field of civil engineering. In order to achieve the purpose experiments such as SEM and XRF analysis was conducted for the reduced slag in electric furnace. Based on the results various geotechnical experiments were conducted to know engineering properties of slag-soil mixtures. Weathered soils and clay are mixed with reduced slag for various ratios. As the ratio of reduced slag to weathered soil increases, the maximum dry unit weight of the mixture decreased with increasing optimum moisture content. The results indicates that there is no effect on a reduced slag by compaction efforts. The shear strengths of the weathered soil-slag mixtures are slightly higher or similar to those of weathered soils. The permeability of the weathered soil-slag mixtures is similar to that of silty or sandy soils. Therefore, it is possible to use the mixtures as embankment or backfill materials in the fields. The unconfined strength of the mixtures of reduced slag and clay is higher than that of clay and it tends to increase with the curing time. Therefore it can be used to improve the soft ground.

        지역 소셜미디어 마케팅 활동이 신뢰와 정보공유의도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among local social media marketing, trust and information sharing intention. To perform this study, Total 300 questionnaire were distributed to users who has experienced local social media dated from December 1th to December 21th. Unworkable data were excluded, 262 usable response were obtained for an empirical analysis. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were measured by using SPSS 25.0 program accordingly. For the study structure, local social media marketing was divided with timeliness, usefulness, richness, accuracy. Trust and information sharing intention were single factor. The results have shown as follows: Hypothesis 1, among local social media marketing, all factors have a positive effect on trust. Hypothesis 2, among local social marketing, those of richness, usefulness and accuracy have a positive effect on information sharing intention. Hypothesis 3, trust has a positive effect on information sharing intention. This study result has found that managing local social media marketing is a source of competitive marketing tool in local level. This study suggests operational and theoretical implications on the aspects of social marketing management.

        내부마케팅이 여행사종사원의 조직신뢰와 고객지향성에 미치는 영향

        The Purpose of this research was to find the relationship among Internal marketing, Organizational trust, Customer orientation. The Self-Communication method was adopted to collect the data during September 2018. Unworkable date was eliminated, and final 270 usable responses were obtained for an empirical analysis. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were measured by using SPSS 18.0, respectively. It was found as follows: First, regarding the relationship between Internal marketing and Organizational trust, those of Relation factors, Empowerment, Internal Communication positively affect Organizational trust. Second, regarding the relationship between Internal marketing and Customer orientation, Those of Relation factors, Empowerment, Internal communication and Compensation system positively affect Customer orientation. Third, regarding the relationship between Organizational trust and Customer orientation, Organizational trust positively affect Customer orientation. This study examined the necessity of Internal Marketing management based on relationship between Travel agent and It’s Employees understanding needs of travel agent for Human resource management. This research suggests theoretical and operational implications on the aspects of marketing management for human resource in travel industry.
