      • 원추형 회전체-자기베어링의 능동 진동 제어

        기존 접촉식 베어링과 비교할 때 능동 자기 베어링(AMB)는 많은 장점을 가진다. 자기 베어링 시스템은 주축을 자기력을 이용하여 부상시켜 기계적인 마찰이 없는 상태에서 회전시키기 때문에 윤활을 하지않고도 작동시킬 수 있다. 따라서 이 베어링은 우주에서의 진공상태와 같은 극한상황에서도 사용할 수 있다. 특히 원추형 자기 베어링은 4조의 전자석으로 구성되어 래디얼 타입 자기 베어링보다 소형, 경량화할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 원추형 자기베어링에 대한 운동방정식을 유도하고, 이 시스템의 진동 제어를 위해 비연성인 디지털 PD, PID 제어기를 설계하였다. 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 제어기의 성능을 평가하여 만족할 만한 성능을 얻었다. There are many advantages of the Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB) system, compared with conventional contacting bearing systems. Since the spindle in the AMB system is levitated by electro-magnetic forces and rotates without mechanical friction, it can run without lubrication. So, it can run in the extreme circumstances, e.g. a vacuum condition in the space. Particularly, the cone-type AMB system consists of only 4 couples of magnet, it can be smaller and lighter than radial-type AMB system. In this thesis, the equations of motion of the cone-type AMB system is derived first, and the digital PD and PID controllers are designed for the vibration control of the system. The controllers are designed based on the decoupled equations of motion, and the performance of the controllers are evaluated through the computer simulations. The results of the simulation show good performance of the controllers.

        흉골골절이 의심되는 외상환자에서 초음파의 진단적 효용성

        Purpose: This study compared the value of ultrasonography(US) in the diagnosis of sternal fractures with those of conventional radiography and bone scan. Material and Method: From March 2000 to March 2001, in Gil Medical Center, Gachon Medical College, 44 patients(22 women and 22 men, mean age 46 years, range 5∼81 years) complained of tenderness in the sternal area. The cases histories of these patients with clinically suspected sternal fracture due to blunt trauma were prospectively studied. At the time of admission, conventional radiography(sternal view) was done. At one day after admission, sternal ultrasonography was obtained, and after 4∼5 days, a bone scan was done. Sternal ultrasonographic findings, conventional radiographic findings, and bone-scan findings were compared. In addition, a 12-lead ECG was done. When it was necessary, cardiac enzyme was checked and echocardiography was performed. Result: In 21 of 44 patients(48%), a sternal fracture was found by sternal US. Only 9 of 21 patients (43%) were diagnosed as having a sternal fracture by using conventional radiography. 23 of 44 patients (52%) have negative findings on sternal US; they also had negative findings on conventional radiography. Except for 7 unchecked patients, 13 of 21 patients(62%) were diagnosed as having a sternal fracture by bone scan, and among the 23 patients who had negative findings on sternal US, the 19 patients checked with a bone scan also had negative findings. Conclusion: Sternal US can find sternal fractures that are difficult to find on conventional radiography. Compared with bone scan, sternal US takes a shorter time and sternal US is not difficult. Additionally, combined lesions with sternal fractures(peristernal hematoma, soft tissue swelling) and costar cartilage fractures are diagnosed more easily when using sternal US.

        기관내 삽관이 어려웠던 폐동맥 sling을 동반한 기관협착 환아1예

        Pulmonary arterial sling, a rare developmental vascular anomaly forms a sling around the distal trachea and the proximal right main bronchus, where it sometimes makes tracheo-bronchial stenosis. Tracheo-bronchial stenosis from pulmonary arterial sling may produce non-specific symptoms of stridor, noisy breathing, dyspnea, recurrent upper respiratory tract infection, chronic cough, and dysphagia. The diagnosis of this anomaly begins with a high index of suspicion because of the lack of pathognomonic finding on usual evaluation. In this case, initial difficult intubation makes us evaluate further. Other cases reported the diagnosis is established by imaging studies, usually MRI and angiography. But, when our case was evaluated, we used cervico-thoracic enhanced computered tomography and tracheal fluoroscopy. Up to now, tracheobronchial stenosis from vascular anomaly is a rare and challenging disorder with a poor prognosis. However, early exact diagnosis would make us perform the accurate surgical treatment and reduce the mortality and morbidity.

      • 의료영상처리를 위한 고해상도 LCD 컨트롤러 개발

        In this paper we proposes the Implementation of Medical Image LCD Controller Using Multi-Image Equipment. Existent LCD is incongruent in resolution to use by medical. Therefore, proposed LCD is system that can do high definition display of suitable WUXGA (1900 * 1200) to medical. the existent LCD displays to detect TV signal or PC's signal, so developed LCD can detect PC's signal as well as TV signal. Five video signal is DVI, D-SUB, S-Video, Composite, Component and designed so that AUTO-SELECTION of five signal may be possible. This has advantage that detecting PC's signal as well as TV signal can make use of TV and monitor together doing unlike existent monitor. 본 논문에서는 의료영상처리를 위한 고해상도 LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) 컨트롤러의 구현 방법에 대하여 논한다. 기존의 LCD는 해상도 면에서 의료용으로 사용하기에는 부적합하다. 따라서 의료용에 적합한 WUXGA(1900 * 1200)의 고해상도 디스플레이를 해 줄 수 있는 고해상도 LCD를 개발하고자 한다. 또한 기존의 LCD는 TV신호 또는 PC신호만을 DETECTING해서 DISPLAY시켜주는 반면 본 LCD는 TV신호 뿐만 아니라 PC의 신호도 동시에 DECTECTING이 가능한 LCD 시스템이다. 5개의 영상신호는 PC신호인 DVI, D-SUB이며, TV 신호인 S-Video, Composite, Component이며 5개의 신호의 AUTO-SELECTION이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 이는 기존의 모니터와는 달리 TV신호 뿐만 아니라 PC의 신호도 DECTECTING함으로써 TV와 모니터를 같이 사용할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다.

        In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

      • 위성 ATM 망에서 ABR 서비스를 위한 트래픽 전송방식에 관한 연구

        ATM의 ABR 서비스는 기본적으로 전달지연이 작은 지상망에 적합하게 개발되었기 때문에 위성 망과 같이 전달지연이 큰 상황에서는 망의 심각한 폭주나 링크의 채널 전송률 저하 등이 발생될 수 있다. 또한 위성채널은 지상 ATM 망에 비해 대역이 제한되어 있으므로 폭주를 미연에 방지하기 위해 보다 치밀하고, 지연에 덜 민감한 대역할당 알고리즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 EPRCA 기반의 위성탑재 ATM 교환기로 구성된 위성 ATM 망에서 BECN과 큐의 상태정보를 이용하여 위성 ATM 망에서 ABR 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다.

      • 여성생식계 상피세포에서 Glutathione S-Transferase 출현도에 관한 면역조직화학적 관찰

        Both placental form (GST-Pi) and basic form (GST-L) of glutathione S-transferase were studied in the epithelium of normal, tumor and tumor like lesions of female genital system. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Staining reaction of GST-Pi were moderate in normal cytotrophoblasts, mild in syncytiotrophoblasts, strong in corpus luteum, moderate to strong in salpingeal mucosa and in proliferative glands, moderate in secretory glands of indometrium and moderate in superficial squamous epithelium of cervix 2. Staining reaction of GST-L were mild in cytotrophoblasts and in syncytiotrophoblasts, of chorionic villi in corpus luteum, negative in salpingeal mucosa, very weak in proliferative glands, mild in secretory, glands of endometrium and in superficial squamous epithelium of cervix. 3. Staining reaction of GST-L were mild in cytotrophoblast and syncytiotrophoblast of choriocarcinoma, moderate in cytotrophoblasts, mild in syncytiotrophoblasts of hydatidiform mole, negative in mucinous epithelium of cust adenoma, in hyperplastia and adenocarcinoma, and mild in adenocarcinoma of cervix. 4. Staining reaction of GST-L were very weak in cytotrophoblasts and syncytiotrophoblasts of choriocarcinoma and in hydatidiform mole, negative in mucinous epithelium of cust adenoma, very weak in serous eptiethlium, negative to mild in hyperplastic and adenocarcinoma, mild in squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of cervix. Therefore, staining reaction and distribution of GST-Pi and L isoengumes were different in normal and neoplastic cell of trophoblasts, salpinx, endometrin and cervix
