Purpose: The objective of this study was to verify the effects of the Singing program for psychiatric patients on their self-esteem and interpersonal relationship, and to provide data for the nursing intervention that is necessary for making their life better. Method: The subjects were 10 in-patients with psychotic disorders at C university hospital in Seoul, from july 3 to September 18 im 2005, and the methodology was one group pre experimental- post experimantal design. The instrument for the measurement of self-esteem is Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale(1973), which was translated by Chun Byung Jae(1974) and the measurement of interpersoral relationship is Schleim & Guerney Relationship Change Scale(1971) which was translated by Mun Seok Mo(1980) and revised by Chun Seok Gyun(1994). SPSS program was used for the analysis of the collected data, which were analyzed by the paired t-test and one-way ANOVA. Result: Singing therapy had an effect on improvement of the self-esteem, and seemed to be more effective as the frequency of the program increased. Singing therapy had an effect on improvement of the interpersonal relatinship, and seemed to ne more effecive as the frequency of the program increased. Comclusion: Singing therapy is found out to be effective program affecting the improvement of both the self-esteem and interpersonal relationship of the psychiatric patients. Therefore the nurses can use the Singing therapy as the nursing intervention for imtrovement of the self-esteem and interpersonal relationship of the psychiatric patients in clinical practice.

Chronic eosinophilic pneumonia(CEP) is a rare disease of unknown etiology characterized by chronic infiltration of the lung with eosinophils. It presents with profound systemic symptoms comprising fever, night sweats, weight loss, dyspnea and blood eosinophilia with nonsegmental air-space consolidation confined to the outer third of the lung, the "photographic negative of pulmonary edema". Histopathologic features of chronic eosinophilic pneumonia are intraalveolar and interstitial infiltrations with eosinophils, histiocytes, giant cells, scattered lymphocytes and plasma cells. Glucocorticoid therapy cause prompt resolution of symptoms as well as disappearans of blood eosinophils, elevated serum Ig E levels and the roentgenographic lesions. Infrequent radiographic findings include nodular infiltrates, consolidations, cavitations, atelectasis and pleural effusions. Deaths from CEP although rare, have been reported, but the majorities of CEP have benign courses and do not need a therapy with ventilator. We report a case of chronic eosinophilic pneumonia, which had a sudden course associated with diffuse pneumonic consolidations on the both lung and bilateral pleural effusion.

수학자 보재 이상설(李相卨)의 근대자연과학 수용 -『백승호초(百勝胡艸)』를 중심으로-

본 논문은 한국 근대수학교육의 아버지 이상설(李相卨, 1870-1917)이 자연과학―물리학―에 기여한 내용을 다루고있다. 이상설은 ?수리(數理)?를 쓴 시기를 전후하여, 같은 시기에 붓으로 총 8면에 걸쳐 『백승호초(百勝胡艸)』라는이름의 고전물리학 원고를 써서 남겼다. 분석결과 이 책의 원전은 1879년에 동경제대 의학부 교재로 발간된 『물리학(物理學)』이다. 이상설은 『백승호초』에서 먼저 개념을 정의하고, 일상에서 나타난 대표적 현상을 선록하여 한문으로번역하였고, 『물리학』의 전체 분량에서도 특히 ‘통유성(通有性)’에 중점을 두고 설명하였다. 동양에서 서양의 수리과학이 들어와야만 말할 수 있는 ‘질량보존의 법칙’, ‘타성(惰性, 관성)’과 같은 고전물리학의 중요개념을 포함하는 내용이 19세기 말에 이미 이 책에 소개된 것으로 보아 이상설은 당대의 다른 저술에서 보기 힘들 정도로 당시 일반물리학의 최고수준의 원서를 통해 최신 정보를 수용하고 전파하기 위하여 노력하였음을 볼 수 있다. Sang-Seol Lee(1870-1917) wrote a manuscript BaekSeungHoCho(百勝胡艸) in the late 19th century. BaekSeungHo-Cho was transcribed in classical Chinese from the 1879 Japanese book Physics(物理學) by Teizo Ihimori (1851-1916). Sang-Seol Lee, a famous independence activist, is also called Father of the Modern Mathematics Education of Korea,because of his early contribution to the modern mathematics education in the 19th century. In this paper, we introduce contents of his manuscript BaekSeungHoCho for the first time and discuss the significance of this book. Also, we show his constribution on the introduction to modern physics in the late 19th century Korea.

This change of the media and human communication forms human preference to easy and interesting pictures than difficult letters in communication. This phenomenon is connected to interest in modeling language with the development of image culture. Moreover, the people get insensitive a lot of stimulation in complicated modern society. Also, to draw attention with certain subject in the present society of one unit network worldwide, visual elements of the past are not enough, and we need visually shocking elements. Accordingly,the unique softness of character is considered as a most appropriate medium of visual element that can focus the public eyes in the modern society. Character starts to appear as a high value-added product as the mass media becomes widely spreaded according to the development of capitalism. Therefore, it is recreated as a start elevating product value by huge investment and efforts if capitalists in capitalistic economy.

부하분산 및 결함허용을 제공하는 CORBA 기반 원격 회의 시스템 설계

인터넷 및 통신 기술의 발달에 따라 원격 회의 시스템이나 원격 교육, 가상 대학과 같은 응용에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이와 판은 시스템에 기존의 중앙 집중 방식을 사용할 경우에는 서버측의 부하가 모두 집중되어 전체 시스템에 영향을 미치게 될 수 있으므로 분산 시스템을 이용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이미지나 텍스트-파일과 같은 자료를 필요로 하는 원격 회의 시스템을 설계하고 Factory 객체와 관계형 통합 데이터 베이스를 이용하여 동적 부하 분산과 동적 결함 허용을 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다. As the technigues of the Interned and Communication are developed, the study about its applications such as Remote Conference system, Remote Education and Cyber University are lively progressing. When the centralized method is applied to those kinds of system mentioned above, the load is mostly occurred in the server side anaitcauas bad effect to the whole system. So the Study about an application such as Remote Conference system, Remote Education and Cyber University is considering using the distributed system. In this paper I would like design a Remote Conference System is soogetled, which needs sub data like images, text files and givers dynamic load balance and dynamic fault tolerance using Factory object and Relational Integrated Data Base.

In the highly-informed modern society we became concerned about how to communicate with others effectively without using words. So we found that the visal communication is one of the non-verbal communication. The first medium of communication is to make meaningful sounds, the is, the first medium of communication was sounds, not letters. But this verbal communication has some limits; one is that people's remembrance isn't correct and the other is that it is too momentary. Visual communication method can overcome the limits mentioned above. So, it can communication ideas more accurately and rapidly than the communication method of words and letters does. Visual communication design is to symbolize ambiguous images and make socially accepted meaningful things. In other words, it is the process of making meaningful signs, especially visual ones.

There are so many factors resolting in the fall of the Korean economy in the various fields such as the politics, the enconomy, the society, the culture, and the public consciousness, etc It is strongly required for to take the survival strategy and sensibility being adequate in the IMF regime instead of the common sense, the experiences and the value system got from the past in order to subsist in this financial crisis. It the Korean management style, that is to say high cost and low efficiency, for keeping step with the cosmopolitan way of thinking and other fields. In the world today pursuing multifunctionalization, the social and entreneurial environments change very rapidly like a revolution aided by advanced industrial development and scientific thechnologoes. In the midst of these changes, consumer behavior as well as the flow of economy and technological innovation is mush influenced by high-technologies, individualism and sensitivity. Furthermore, the fixed idea of consumers is undergoing a change, challenged by the borderless business war caused by free trade. It is evident that companies, realizing they can not meet the various demands of consumers with the current marketing tools which include utilizing experiences, current technologies and methods, make every efforts to differentiate themselves from competitors. Therefore, in this paper, the writer withes to search for the direction to head in this field in the future by analyzing the design of guest room amenities used by domestic and foreign 5-star hotels. In this respect, the results can contribute to the upgrade of hotel image domestically and inter nationally as well as to the enhancement of hotel's capability to adapt themselves to changing giobal environments. After the 1988 Seoul Olympies, the number of foreign travelers and the foregine investment increased sharply resulting from the boom in the travel industry. Great efforts were made to rear the travel industry into one of the key industries. This research is aimed to study the change in design environment caused by being digitalized, to define the new concept and sphere in digital design, to fine out the direct or indirect impact in design by the socian and cultural changes resulted in informational technology and Internet, and to find out the change and response in design world being brought about it. The change speed is much faster than we thing, and the influence and speed of change is still larger and faster than any other epoch. The image photographed by Mars probe is transmitted in the world simultaneously. Furthermore, the digital images represented with computer graphics improve the recognition due to memory effects and the trasmission of visual information to evoke the moderms' sympaty. Computer graphics with the digital imageow many artists or graphic designers to represent concepts freely and play an essential role as a tool for creative design works. however, if these applications were considered only as a method to represent image recreations without any creative endeavor due to produciton analysis and other reasons, it would be unavoidable to slow down the growth of computer graphics in the 21st century.

다환계 방향족 유기오염물을 함유한 폐수의 전기화학 처리

This work has concerned the possibility to apply both direct and indirect electrolysis process for the treatment of waste containing poliaromatic compounds. Two different kinds of electrode materials have been used: DSA-type anodes to carry out direct electrolysis and carbon felt cathodes to ferform indirect electrolysis. On the contrary, in the case of the tested wastewater especially containing naphthalen- and anthraquinon sulphonic compounds they do not seem to be very suitable materials. Better results have been achieved using the carbon felt cathodes. In this case the COD of the tested wastewater can be remarkably decreased using H_2O_2 as oxidation agent.
