      • 하루 콩단백질 25g 섭취를 위한 메뉴작성 및 영양성분 분석

        The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

        치과주조용 Ag-Pd-Zn-Sn-In 합금의 시효경화 특성

        Cu가 첨가되어 있지 않고, 대신에 상대적으로 많은 양의 Zn 그리고 소량의 Sn과 In이 첨가된 치과주조용 Ag-Pd-Zn-Sn-In 합금의 시효경화 특성을 경도 시험, X선회절 실험, 주사전자현미경 관찰, 전자탐침 미소분석법으로 조사하여, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 950℃에서 용체화처리된 시편을 500℃와 550℃에서 등온시효처리하면, 시효 초기에 경도가 완만히 상승하여 최고 경도에 도달하였고 최고 경도를 일정 기간 유지하고 나서 서서히 하강하였다. 2. 용체화처리된 시편은 Pd 원자가 고용된 Ag-rich α1상, Pd3Sn인 α2상, Pd2Zn인 α3상의 3상 공존이었고, 등온시효처리함에 따라 Ag-rich α1상에서 Pd-rich 상으로 추정되는 β상이 석출하였다. 3. 시효 초기의 경화는 Ag-rich 기지에서 Pd-rich 상의 석출로 인한 격자변형에 기인하는 것으로 추정된다. 4. 시효처리 시간을 연장함에 따른 과시효 연화는 입계에 Ag-rich α1상과 Pd-rich β상으로 된 층상조직의 석출과 조대화에 기인하였다. 5. Pd3Sn인 α2상과 Pd2Zn인 α3상은 시효경화에 기여하지 않았다. Age-hardening characteristics of a dental casting Ag-Pd-Zn-Sn-In alloy without copper (52.0 wt% Ag - 39.9 wt% Pd - 4.0 wt% Zn - 2.0 wt% Sn - 2.0 wt% In - 0.1 wt% Ir) was investigated by means of hardness test, X-ray diffraction study, scanning electron microscopic observations and electron probe microanalysis. The specimen solution-treated at 950℃ was three phases of the Ag-rich α1 phase containing Pd element, the α2 phase based on Pd3Sn and the α3 phase based on Pd2Zn, and the Pd-rich β phase was precipitated from the Ag-rich α1 phase by the isothermal ageing,. The initial hardening seemed to be attributed to coherency strains which were formed in the Ag-rich matrix by the precipitation of Pd-rich phase. Overageing with softening was due to the formation and coarsening of the lamella precipitates at grain boundaries, which were composed of the Ag-rich α1 and Pd-rich β phases. The α2 phase based on Pd3Sn and the α3 phase based on Pd2Zn did not contribute to the age-hardening of this alloy.

        골프장의 잔디 토양에서 살균제 Tolclofosmethyl의 분해

        Tolclofosmethyl (TCFM) is heavily and annually applied to the turf soils of most golf courses in Gyeongju to control the fungi known to cause the disease brown patch. The soil samples used for the experiment was collected three weeks after the annual application at the end of May in the year 2002. The preliminary results obtained from this study demonstrated that the repeated field annual applications of TCFM to the turf soils of a golf course located in Gyeongju city in the southern area of Korea showed the enhanced degradation of the parent compound TCFM, especially in the surface (0~15 cm) soil rather than the shallow subsurface (15~30 cm) and deep subsurface (30~45 cm) soils, compared to the corresponding surface (0~15 cm) and shallow and deep subsurface (15~30 cm and 30~45 cm) soils of the untreated plot. It appears that microorganisms in the soil may be involved in the enhanced degradation of TCFM.

      • 분리 핵을 이용한 Trichoderma koningii의 형질전환

        Trichoderma koningii의 영양요구성 돌연변이주인 CUT 121로부터 얻은 원형질체를 야생형인 ATCC 26113의 핵과 혼합하여 PEG 용액을 처리한 결과, 독립영양형의 형질전화체가 30% 이상의 빈도로 생성되었다. 이 독립영양형 군체로부터 얻은 분리체 중의 하나는 xylanase의 활성이 야생형보다 3배 가량 증진되었으며, 다른 세포외 다당류 분해효소능도 야생형과 유사한 수준을 나타내었다. 분리체의 DNA 함량, 인위적인 분리양상 및 동위효소 양상 등을 조사 분석한 결과, 독립영양형의 형질전환체는 실험에 사용된 두 핵간의 유전물질교환에 의하여 생성된 형질전환체로 판명되었다. 이상의 결과로부터 Trichoderma속 균류의 균주개량법으로, 핵전이법이 통상의 원형질체 융합법보다 효율적인 것으로 판명되었다. When protoplasts from auxotrophic mutant of Trichoderma koningii CUT121(Lys^-, Met^-) were mixed with isolated nuclei of wild type T. koningii ATCC 26113 and treated with PEG solution, protrophic colonies were produced with frequency of more than 30 percent. One of segregants from prototrophic colonies showed increased xylanase activity and other polysaccharide-hydrolyzing activities comparable to those of wild type strain. Through measurement of DNA contents, induced segregation, and analysis of isozyme patterns, it was revealed that the prototrophic colonies were transformants resulted from exchange of genetic materials between the two kinds of nuclei used. These results suggest that nuclei transfer technique is more efficient than conventional protoplast fusion technique for strain improvement of Trichoderma species.

      • EGDA 기능성 모노마로 희석된 Epoxy Acrylate의 전자빔 경화 및 코팅

        Electron beam curing of acrylated epoxy resin diluted with mono-functional monomer EGDA has been investigated under circumstances contacted with air and without air. The formulated resin in contact with N2 or covered with film could be cured up to 95% even with low dose of 5kGy and the surface of cured resin became very hard, but cured resin in existence of oxygen and without any additive had a low degree of curing and the surface became sticky due to insufficient curing. Additives such as curing agent P-115 or initiator BPO could increase the degree of curing to more or less one, but these additives could not remove completely surface stickiness. While, at high dose(more than 100kGy), addition of BPO were possible to make the irradiated surface of the resin be non-sticky even in existence of air. Degree of curing of the resin which contained pigment was very high at dose of around 20kGy. Elongation and stress at break on the cured resin with ferric oxide pigment were be higher than with non-ferric oxide pigment. Adhesion and anti-firing of the resin coated on cement block could be excellent.

      • 캔음료중 epichlorohydrin 의분석법에 관한 연구

        캔식품중에 잔류하는 epichlorohydrin을 분석하기 위한 pu링e & trap-Cc/uf통D 분석법을 확립하여 캔의 lacauer 코팅제에서 식품으로 이행되어 잔류하는 epichtorohydfn을 측정하고, 식품유사용매에 의한 용출시험을 통해 일일추정섭취량을 산출하였다. epichlorohydrin의 검량선은 y=0.0006x+0.OO6?(R큰0.9983)의 직선성·라 0.05#ga의 검출한계를 나타내었다. 각종 음료 및 식품유사용매에 일정량의 epichlorohydrin을 첨가한 후 분석하였을 때 회수을은 72~91%였으며, 실제 시판되는 f5건의 캔음료 중 잔류하는 epichlorohydrin을 측정한 결과 모든 캔음료에서 검출한계(0.1#94) 이하였다. 제관업체에서 구입한 modifed epoxy, epoxy phenolic, vinyl organosol, epoxy phenol ester 등의 BADGE(bisphenol A diglycidyt ether)형 에폭시수지로 lacquer 코팅된 식품용 캔에 식품윤사용매인 10% 또는 95% 에탄올을 층L진한 후 90~121'c의 드라이오븐에서 30분~2시간동안 용출시켰을 패 캔의 lacquer 코팅재에서 식품유사용매로 이행되는 epichBorollydirn은 코팅재질, 그리고 가열온도 및 시간에 문관하게 모든 캔에서 검출한계(0.4#ga)이하 였다. 위의 용출결과를 FD.f_의 "Recommendation for Chemistry Data for Indirect Food Additive Petition" 윽 일일추정섭취량 산출법에 적용하여 얻은 epichtorohydrin의 일딜추정 섭 취 량은 0.2r조persorday이하였다. A sensitive ana1?~7tical method based on gas cl)romatogFapy~mass spectrometry with a selected ion monitoring (GE/hfS-Slhf) and the purge-and-trap concentrator ))·asdeveloped for determining ot'epicillorohydrin in canr;ed be)#erages coated with eporl· resin. Thecalibration rurve in the ranre of 0.j ~50nr had'correlation coefficient of 0.9983 and detection limit of 0.Osrga. Recoveries of epichlorohydrin spiked to beverages were in the range of 72 ~91% with detection limits of 0.1 #ga. fn survey of epichlorohydff in twenty commercialcanned beverage samples, epichlorohydrin was not found in all the samples with the detectionlimit of 0.1 r9a. In migration test of various cans coated with BADGE-based coating cans;modifed epoxy, epoxy phenolic, vinyl organosol, epox?· phenol ester were exposed to the foodsimulants of 10% ethanol and 95% ethanol. flfo delectable epichlorohydrin migrated to foodsiHulants was found in aTl the cars with detection Jimit of 0.4 #9/L. Using the miEration data,along uTith the applicstion of food and beverage cans complied with FDA's "Recommendationfor Chemlstry Data f,3r Indirect Food Additive Petition" , the potential dietary exposure toepichlorohydrin was estlmated to be under 0.2rf/person/day.

      • The Last Ten Years of Advancements in Plant-Derived Recombinant Vaccines against Hepatitis B

        <P>Disease prevention through vaccination is considered to be the greatest contribution to public health over the past century. Every year more than 100 million children are vaccinated with the standard World Health Organization (WHO)-recommended vaccines including hepatitis B (HepB). HepB is the most serious type of liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV), however, it can be prevented by currently available recombinant vaccine, which has an excellent record of safety and effectiveness. To date, recombinant vaccines are produced in many systems of bacteria, yeast, insect, and mammalian and plant cells. Among these platforms, the use of plant cells has received considerable attention in terms of intrinsic safety, scalability, and appropriate modification of target proteins. Research groups worldwide have attempted to develop more efficacious plant-derived vaccines for over 30 diseases, most frequently HepB and influenza. More inspiring, approximately 12 plant-made antigens have already been tested in clinical trials, with successful outcomes. In this study, the latest information from the last 10 years on plant-derived antigens, especially hepatitis B surface antigen, approaches are reviewed and breakthroughs regarding the weak points are also discussed.</P>
