        학교부적응 중학생 집단에 대한 학교사회사업 실천의 일 예

        This study shows an illustration of school social work practice for the middle school students who have manifested adjustment difficulties to school system. Two clinical social workers provided services for the eight students from H middle school. Services included initial assessment, intervention and evaluaion. The assessment included individual interviews for eight students, MMPI Testing, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Beck Depression Inventory scale testing. Intervention included group therapy sessions and consultation session for the home-room teacher. Evaluation included students self reported results regarding group therapy sessions, and prepost test results of instruments, self-esteem, and school attitudes measure. As a result of the worker's intervention, the students manifested improved self esteem, and improved school attitudes and this resulted in their better adjustment to school system. We argue that school social workers are much needed at various school systems to prevent and treat maladjusted students.

        작중 인물의 존재 양식 : 제임스 조이스의 「죽은 사람들」 의 경우 The Mode of Existence of Character in James Joyce`s"The Dead"

        All the discussion of narrative fiction has mainly focussed on one of its basic components, events, to the neglect of the others, particularly characters. Events are often the most fundamental requirement in narrative. But characters need a fuller treatment. A character in a story is a construct, put together by the reader throughout the text. The most serious problem of character probably concerns the way in which he (or she) may be said to exist. For this purpose of character-analysis, I choose "The Dead," the finest story in Dubliners. This work is different in kind from the rest; it is on a different scale, and it originated in a different and almost contrary impulse. The story is seen through the eyes of Gabriel Conroy who is, at least in part, a portrait of Joyce as he feared he might have become if he had stayed in Dublin. Perhaps it would be truer to say that Gabriel is a representation of Joyce when he was not an artist. Gabriel is caught between love and hate of his city and its people, conceit and self-contempt. The intuition of some mysterious threat to his existence has come to Gabriel when Gretta responds to The Lass of Aughrim, one of famous Irish ballads. Finally, Gabriel's own identity is fading out into a grey impalpable world. In "The Dead," we assembles various character-indicators, inferring the trait from them. Joyce makes us believe that characters are inextricable from the rest of the desigh in narrative fiction through the portrayal of Gabriel and Gretta. In the end, this work is certainly Joyce's astonishing achievement for the general presentation of characterization.

        초등학교 자녀의 구강보건에 관한 학부모의 인식 및 행동

        The purpose of this study was to collect basic data for the development of oral health education program of parents and to encourage their actual interest and participation in school oral health program. The authors surveyed parents' awareness and behaviors about the oral health of their children. The subjects in this study were 193 parents of elementary school children in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed, the obtained results were as follows: 1. Thirty-five percent of the parents investigated paid a regular visit to a dental clinic. The must common tooth brushing time among them was after dinner, the second was after breakfast, and this was followed by before bedtime and before breakfast. 2. Ninety-four percent of the parents responded that prevention is necessary, 92.2% had a plan to visit a dental clinic to prevent dental caries, and 60.1% experienced receiving pit and fissure sealants. Ninety-seven percent responded that they did check their children's dental caries. 54.9% chocked their children's oral status after tooth brushing. The parents who visit a dental clinic on a regular basis were more likely to check their children's teeth after tooth brushing than those who don't(P<0.05). 3. Eighty eight percent of respondents wanted to keep the fluoride mouth rinse program. 4. It is recommended that an oral health education program be developed for parents to visit dental clinics on a regular basis, to educate as to the right tooth brushing time, and to check out their children's oral status after tooth blushing.

      • 치성 낭종의 임상-병리학적 소견과 TGF-α 및 TGF-β 발현

        Objective : Periapical cyst is a relatively common disease but heterogenous in histogenesis, and inflammatory reaction and fibrosis of varying degree are associated in the cystic wall. The aim of thes study is to evaluate the clinico-pathologic characteristics such as patient's age, ses, location, and the degree of inflammatory reaction and fibrosis of periapical cyst and the role of TGF-α and TGF-β cytokines in the inflammed periapical cyst. Methods and Material : The materials were 43 cases of periapical cyst and clinical information with age, sex, location(maxilla vs mandible, right vs left, region involved) were recorded. Histopathological examination on the degree of inflammatory reaction and fibrosis and immunohistochemical stining for TGF-α and TGF-β were perfomed. Satistical analyses between clinical parameters, the degree of inflammation and fibrosis and expressions for TGF-α and TGF-β were followed. Results : 1. Thirt(69.8%) of 43 cases were older than 20 year-old. and no significant differences of incidence according to patient's sex was noted. In 25(58.1%) out of 43 case. 20(54.1%) out of 37 cases, and 20(48.8%) of 41cases, the cyst was located on the maxilla. in right side and in premolar region respectively. 2. The cysts of developmental and inflammatory origin were 24(55.8%) and 19(44.2%) of 43 cases, respectively and there were no siginificant differences of patient's age, sex, and location of cysts according to the origin of cysts. 3. Fibrosis was more conspicuous in cases older than 20 year-old. (p=0.0179), but no significant difference in the degree of inflammatory reaction according to patient's age and in the degree of inflammatory reaction and fibrosis according to sex and location of the cysts were seen. 4. Inflammatory reaction was slightly more in cysts of inflammatory origin, but no significant defferences in degree of inflammation and fibrosis according to origin of the cysts. 5. The degree of inflammatory reaction and TGF-α and TGF-β expressions showed a tendency of positive correlation(p=0.1563), but there were no statistically significant relationships between the degree of inflammation and fibrosis and TGF-α and TGF-β expressions. 6. In the cysts of developmental origin, TGF-α expression in the epithelial cells was significantly increased than inflammatory origin, but TGF-α and TGF-β expressions in the inflammatory cells and stromal cells showed no significant difference according to the origin Conclusion : The degree of inflammatory reaction and fibrosis of periapical cysts was different according to patient's age and location of the cyst. TGF-α and TGF-β cystokines seemed to be involved in the inflammatory reaction and fibrosis of periapical cyst, however, TGF-α and TGF-β expressions was not parallel to the degree of inflammatory reaction and fibrosis. These results suggest that other cytokines in addition to TGF-α and TGF-β may also be involved in the inflammatory reaction and fibrosis of periapical cyst. Increased TGF-expression in the epithelial cells of the cysts of developmental origin could be a helpful finding to defferentiate the origin of the periapical cyst.

        ‘병동 중심의 처치수가 산정지침 개발’ 등을 통한 간호업무 표준화 및 그 효과

        문제: 병동 처치수가 산정 부정확 및 누락으로 인한 부적절한 재고관리로 진료차질, 불필요한 업무발생 및 수익이 감소한다. 목적: 병동 처치수가 산정 정확화를 위한 업무 표준화 도구 및 시스템을 개발하여 적정 재고관리를 통한 수익증대 및 직무만족도를 향상시킨다. 의료기관: 서울시 종로구에 소재한 대학병원 질 향상 활동: 병동중심의 처치 산정지침 개발 및 수가물품의 적정재고 관리방안을 모색하였다. 개선효과: 병동중심의 처치수가 산정 지침서를 제작하여 업무표준화를 기하였음. 응급청구 품목 및 수량이 ’07년 대비 71%감소하고 타 병동 차용품목이 활동 전에 비해 61% 감소, 수량은 77% 감소함. 응급청구 총소요시간이 활동 전에 비해 ’07년 대비 77% 감소하고 타 병동 차용 총 소요시간이 61% 감소함. 전년 동기간 대비 수익이 4% 증가하였으며 또한 54병동과 보험 심사팀에서 직원들의 직무만족도가 향상되었다.

        성장시기별 무순의 화학적 조성 변화

        The chemical components of radish buds were investigated during the growth stage. The vitamin C and total phenol contents were lowered after 4 days of early sprout growth, and were 22.19 and 4.99 mg%, respectively.These increased according to the growth time, showing the highest value on day 8, 25.85 and 17.87 mg%, respectively. However, these values decreased around day 12, which seemed to be the bud end point. The major free sugar component of the radish buds was glucose, showinged the highest content on day 8. The total organic acid content gradually increased as the growth proceeded. The detected oxalic acid content was only small on day 8. During the early growth stage, the total and essential amino acids contents were 3,020~3,575 and 1,206~1,499 mg, respectively. These contents tended to decrease with growth time. Glutamic acid, aspartic acid and alanine were the major amino acid components (39%).

      • 현대인의 실존적 불안 : Pinter의 The Birthday Party를 중심으로

        Harold Pinter's earlier Plays including The Birthday Party (1958) are chiefly concerned with a menace to a person's security by unknown outsider power. Even though the menace surely operates on the level of the dreaded loss of emotional security, it falls under the category of labyrinthine problems set by the outside world. Pitter never starts writing a play from any kin6 of abstract idea. As Pitter himself declares, he starts writing a play from an image of a situation. The action of The Birthday Party takes place in a drab seaside rooming house owned by motherly Meg and lier blunt husband Petey. Petey is depicted as taciturn and realistic, but Meg is loquocious and romantic. Because of this apprent difference between their characters, they separately pursue lives of their own and cannot have the feelings of oneness. The main character of the play, Stanley, has sought refuge from the world in the lodging house. Stanley's personality and career are never clear Meg, dissatisfied with her husband, regards Stanley as her real son. Two menacers, McCann and Goldberg are clearly after Stanley, although the menace of what they are doing is tangible but undefined. We may only guess McCann as a symbol of politic and religion cliche while Goldberg as of cultural cliche in conventional world. They suggest having a birthday party for Stanley even though it is not his birthday. During the birthday party with its drum, its switching-off of lights, and its game of blindman's buff, they disintegrate Stanley's individuality. The dramatic sign of menace in The birthday Party is closely related with the interior room as in The Room (1957) . The room often presents "room-womb" imagery where the character inside is plagued by mysterious and unnamed outside force. At length the examined threat turns out that it is nothing to fear and its danger is rather internal. Man is lost in the mechanized modern society. Pinter realities the essence of human nature which craves for returning to primitive and chaotic womb, escaping from standardized and simplified normal life. Consequently hinter takes the now familiar theme of social alienation and presents it in emotional terms. He urges recovery of humanity and vitality in the dehumanized modern civilization. In The Birthday Party Pinter searches for pure humanistic life through man's existential insecurity, though his statements are often self-contradictory and his actions inconsistent.

      • Quentin Compson의 이야기 : Absalom,Absalom!의 구조

        On one side William Faulkner's Absalom, Absalom.! is the story of Thomas Sutpen's grand design. He attempts to build a mansion and found a respectable white dynasty. On the other side it is the story of the storytellers' effort to tell the Sutpen's story. They attempt to construct a narrative instead of a mansion. It is because of the novel's double focus that most of its actions takes place in Yoknapatawpha, Mississippi, in the nineteenth century while most of its telling takes place In Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the twentieth century. Of four storytellers, Quentin, with the aid of his roommate, Shrove, pieces together all the facts and conjectures about the Sutpens and recreates them. It is most important that he cares most about what Sutpen signifies. He belives that the life of Sutpen represents not only the essence of the history of the South but a part of the mythos in which he himself still lives. After all, the story of Sutpen is nothing but the part of the Southern past which Quentin mustunderstand if he is to understand himself. True understanding of the Sutpen's tragedy can only come through Quentin, who suffers an emotional identification with the . Sutpen phantom-shapes of his own Southern past. Absalom, Absalom! is Quentin's story rather than the story of Sutpen who dies without understanding the meaning of life. Quentin, in the sense of traditional concept of tragedy, cannot be a tragic hero. He neither initiates nor is involved in an action of magnitude, He can do nothing about his tragic perceptions except tell about them. And yet his telling itself must be tragic. It is through Quentin's telling of tragic perceptions that the Sutpen tragedy has any meaning. In this sense, the text of Absalom, Absalom! ends with Quentin's recognition of his hopeless impasse.

      • 그리스 신화를 모티브로 한 한국창작무용 의상디자인개발

        오늘날 신화에 대한 관심이 이전 어느 때보다도 직접적이고 적극적으로 표명되고 있다. 신화가 지역과 시간을 넘어서는 인류 공통의 꿈과 표현방식이라는 발견은 현대 인터넷시대에 정치, 경제, 문화, 학술 등의 다양한 분야에서 신화를 만국공통의 기호로 채택케 하기 때문이다. 고대 상상력의 산물인 신화들은 신선한 독창적 작품에 끊임없이 이용되어왔다. 서구의 문학과 예술은 예로부터 그리스로마신화에서 수많은 예증과 상징, 영감을 빌어왔고, 현대사상이 즐겨 응용하는 신화는 종교, 민속학, 인류학, 사회학, 정신분석학과 미술 등이 공유하는 중요한 영역이며, 신화에 대한 지식은 문명을 형성해온 사상에 자연스러운 호기심을 만족시켜준다. 즉 여러 학문의 토대를 이루는 신화가 이들 학문의 사상을 한층 더 깊게 해주는데 이는 신화가 현대의 과학주의가 억압하고 있는 상상력을 해방시켜주기 때문이다. 고대 그리스 교육에서는 음악과 마찬가지로 중대한 역할을 담당했던 무용이 신화를 구체적으로 형상화하는 또 다른 예술양식이었다. 문화개방의 시대를 맞이하여 문화에 대한 사람들의 기대도 점점 높아지고 있다. 또한 전문화 시대에 접어들면서 무대공연 예술분야는 종합예술로서 무대 구성을 이루는 요소들의 영역이 더욱 세분화되고 있다. 무대예술에 있어서 예술무용의 형태가 더 정밀화(精密化), 인공화(人工化)됨에 따라 무용, 음악, 시각예술은 각각 독립적 기능을 유지하면서 세련되고 치밀하며 자연스런 조화를 이루어야 한다. 종합예술인 무용공연에서 의상은 무용수와 가장 밀착되어 있고, 주제 표현의 수단과 무언의 언어로서 중요한 역할을 한다. 특히 전통성과 현대성이 결합된 독특한 장르를 칭하는 한국창작무용은 춤뿐만 아니라 의상에서도 전형적인 한국무용의 틀을 깨고 있다. 본 연구는 한국창작무용공연 작품 「 ♂ + ♀ = 」을 위한 무용의상디자인개발 연구로서, 그리스신화의 인물들의 의상을 현대적 의미로 재해석하여 작품의 내용에 맞게 의상을 디자인하고 제작하며, 이를 통해 전통적 한국무용의상에서 벗어나 새로운 표현방법을 모색하고 무용의상의 발전적 방향과 가능성을 제시하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구의 이론적 전개과정으로 무용의상의 고찰을 통해서 무용의상의 개념 및 무용의상의 조형미와 역할에 대하여 살펴보았으며 디자인 요소가 무용의상에 미치는 효과 및 요소상호간의 관계를 알아보았다. 또한 한국창작무용의 역사와 특성을 살펴보고, 그 표현적 특성을 고찰하였다. 이러한 이론적 고찰을 근거로 그리스 신화를 현대적으로 해석하여 무용의상의 예술적인 표현영역을 확대하기 위해, 현대인의 감성에 맞는 기능적이고 독창적인 무용의상을 총5점 디자인하고 제작했다. 이론 및 실제공연에서 작품을 착용한 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무용수의 동작의 특성과 무용수의 신체를 고려하여 디자인된 의상에 의해 무용 율동에 의한 움직임의 확대와 변화는 더욱 증대될 수 있다. 즉 무용의상의 디자인 전개방법에 따른 무용의상의 실루엣의 변화로 또 다른 무용의 조형미를 보여줄 수 있었다. 둘째, 전형적인 무용의상의 소재에서 벗어나 다양한 현대적 소재의 개발과 사용으로 풍부한 작품의 이미지를 표현할 수 있었다. 셋째, 무용의상의 색채에 있어서 인물의 성격과 잘 부합되는 색상으로 무대와 관객의 정서적 합일을 촉진시키는데 일조 할 수 있었다. 따라서 무용의상의 색채는 다양한 이미지를 전달 할 수 있는 중요한 요소임을 확인할 수 있었다. 넷째, 무대의상에 있어서 조명의 효과로 인한 색상과 질감의 변화를 확인하였으며 적절한 소재의 사용은 조명의 효과를 극대화 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다섯째, 무용의상 디자인에 있어 현대패션에 표현된 여러 가지 요소들의 사용은, 현대예술의 실험적 요구에 부응하여 표현영역을 확대하는데 크게 기여함을 알 수 있었다. Nowadays, the interest shown in mythology is more direct and aggressive than ever before. The reason for such interest is the discovery of mythology's power to express the dreams of all mankind beyond time and space. This discovery has led people working in politics, economy, culture in general, and academia to choose mythology as an international system of symbols for the Internet era. Although mythology can be said to be the brainchild of ancient imagination, it still continues to be used in fresh, creative works of art. The arts of the western world have borrowed many examples, symbols, and inspiration from Greco-Roman mythology. Also, the mythology that many modern schools of thought apply often is something religion, folklore, anthropology, sociology, psychoanalysis, and art all share in common. Consequently, the knowledge of mythology satisfies the natural curiosity which is the ideology that gave form to civilization. That is to say, mythology is the very backbone of various studies which enriches the ideologies given by them. This is because mythology liberates the imagination oppressed by modern scientific thought. The educational system of the ancient Greeks put emphasis on music and dance, both important ways of giving flesh and blood to myth through art. As the opening of cultural barriers lays at hand, the anticipation of the public grows. Each and every field now acknowledges the need of professionalism, especially the stage and the theatrical arts, due to their characteristics as composite art. Dance as an art form is growing more detailed and artificial as time goes by, and attains an extremely sophisticated harmony and/or discord with music and the visual arts. That is why dance must keep in close company with lighting, costume, sound, makeup, and other such activities that are related to it. The costume is important in the way it is closest to the dancer on the stage, and that it expresses itself in a way that written or spoken word cannot. Dance has changed according to era, region, and its respective culture, and costume has changed alongside with it. Today, creative Korean dance has broken through the mold of typical Korean traditional dance in both dance itself and the costumes it employs, as an amalgam of traditionalism and modernism. The purpose of this study is to find new ways of expression which overcome traditional korean dance costume, and to present the direction of development and possibilities that dance costume possesses. This is done by giving the costumes the mythological figures of the Korean creative dance performance 『 ♂ + ♀ = 』 a new analysis in the modern sense, and by designing and producing such costumes accordingly. The methods of research which are applied are as follows; by collective analysis of related books and theses, and searching for visual material to help the characteristics of dance costume in various books and on the Internet. To thoroughly analyze this study and to expand upon the various theories it embodies through deliberate consideration of dance costume, the concept of dance costume itself is studied alongside the aesthetics and role of dance costume. Also, the history and quality of Korean creative dance is observed, while the expressional characteristics of Korean creative dance are inquired into accordingly. With such theoretical observation as a foundation, Greek mythology can be analyzed in the modern sense to expand the expressive territory of dance costume, thus developing functional creative dance costume that appeals to modern man's aesthetics. Based upon the research processes written above, the 5 works produced within this study are attempts to give new analysis to traditional Korean dance costume, with the image of the works being suitable to each and every piece of dance choreography. The results of this study are as following; First, dance costume considers the movement and body of the dancer, thus maximizing the change and enlargement of the rhythmic movements. In this way, the beauty of shape can be shown through the changes of the dance costume's silhouette. Second, abundant images were able to be expressed by the development and use of diverse materials produced by advanced technology, thus overcoming the typical materials dance costume has used so far. Third, by correspondence between the color of the dance costume and the personality of the character who is wearing it, emotional unity between stage and audience can be created. It can be said that the color of dance costume is an important component in communicating diverse images. Fourth, the effect of stage lighting upon change in color and texture of dance costume was noteworthy, and the deployment of glossy materials maximized the effect of stage lighting. Fifth, the application of the various components of modern fashion is regard to dance costume is important, in that satisfies the experimental demands of modern art.
