This study are performed to reveal the origin of the Sasang constitutional theory made by Lee-jae-ma(李濟馬), confucianist as well as famous oriental doctor, who succeeded to Han-suck-jie(韓錫地)'s Anti-Neo-Confucianism. Han wrote a book named Myung-Suen-Lock(明善錄) which criticized Neo-Confucianism formed at times of Song dynasty in China and proposed a new doctrine i.e Anti-Neo-Confucianism. He asserted that The Sacred and Ordinary Men are all the same in nature, and that The Actual Mind of Universe and The Actual Mind of Human also are all the same ultimately. These two assertions clearly contrasted with pre-existing Neo-Confucianism led Lee-jae-ma to successively organize Sasang constitutional theory. This study is aimed to illuminate this point : How under the effects of Han's new doctrine Lee-jae-ma could find four general constitutions due to the variation of the four organs. At first, Lee indicated four organs as the very general basement providing human nature for all men including The Sacred. In consequence, he justified one of the Han's assertions that The Sacred and Ordinary Men are all the same in nature. Secondly, Lee indicated the Mind as the actual center which bring forth the individual spontaneity. As far as this individual spontaneity is rightly aimed, which means harmonize his own's with the actual process of the Universe, all men could be The Sacred. So he come to justify the other of Han's assertions that The Actual Mind of Universe and The Actual Mind of Human also are all the same ultimately. Therefore, it is clearly verified that the Lee-jae-ma's Sasang doctrine is the successive achievement origined from Han-suck-jie(韓錫地)'s Anti-Neo-Confucianism abundantly represented in his own book, Myung-Suen-Lock.

Prediction of Retained Austenite Fraction in Quenching-and-Partitioning (Q&P) Steels Using the Gibbs Energy Balance Approach

Prediction of retained austenite fraction is quite important in designing advanced high strength steels since retained austeniteis the source of transformation-induced plasticity. The present study investigates the phase constitution of a medium-carbonQ&P steel by comparing various approaches to the transformation stasis of bainitic ferrite and applying them to the partitioningprocess. Among them, the modified GEB approach gave the best agreement with the experimental observation, includingthe effects of heat-treatment condition and chemical composition on phase constitution. This indicates phase transformationduring partitioning can be effectively described by the physics of Gibbs energy balance approach.

BEZ235 (PIK3/mTOR inhibitor) Overcomes Pazopanib Resistance in Patient-Derived Refractory Soft Tissue Sarcoma Cells

<P><I>BACKGROUND:</I> Although pazopanib treatment has become the standard chemotherapy in salvage setting for metastatic sarcoma patients, most patients progress after pazopanib treatment in 4 to 6 months. After failure to pazopanib, patients have limited options for treatment. Therefore, subsequent therapy in patients who failed to pazopanib is urgently needed and the use of patient derived cells or patient derived tumors for accompanying testing with various pharmacological inhibitors could offer additional treatment options for these patients. <I>METHODS:</I> Patient derived tumor cells were collected from ascites at the time of progression to pazopanib and a 13-drug panel was tested for drug sensitivity. We confirmed the results using <I>in vitro</I> cell viability assay and immunoblot assay. We also performed the genomic profiling of PDX model. <I>RESULTS:</I> The growth of patient derived tumor cells was significantly reduced by exposure to 1.0 μM AZD2014 compared with control (control versus AZD2014, mean growth = 100.0% vs 16.04%, difference = 83.96%, 95% CI = 70.01% to 97.92%, <I>P</I> = .0435). Similarly, 1.0 μM BEZ235 profoundly inhibited tumor cell growth <I>in vitro</I> when compared to control (control versus BEZ235, mean growth = 100.0% vs 7.308%, difference = 92.69%, 95% CI = 78.87% to 106.5%, <I>P</I> < .0001). Despite the presence of CDK4 amplification in the patient-derived tumor cells, LEE011 did not considerably inhibit cell proliferation when compared with control (control vs LEE011, mean growth = 100.0% vs 80.23%, difference = 19.77%, 95% CI = 1.828% to 37.72%, <I>P</I> = .0377). The immunoblot analysis showed that BEZ235 treatment decreased pAKT, pmTOR and pERK whereas AZD2014 decreased only pmTOR. <I>CONCLUSION:</I> Taken together, upregulation of mTOR/AKT pathway in sarcoma patient derived cells was considerably inhibited by the treatment of AZD2014 and BEZ235 with downregulation of AKT pathway (greater extent for BEZ235). These molecules may be considered as treatment option in STS patient who have failed to pazopanib in the context of clinical trials.</P>

Sang Hoon Lee. 1997. A Critical Appraisal on the Christian Perspective for History and Its Worldview. Collected Papers on Christian Language Culture. What is history? Who is the supreme ruler or originator of it? What is the immanent principle in history? Do people live their daily lives with so-called 'historical consciousness'? Why is it necessary to have historical consciousness? What is the relation of general secular history and salvation history (heilsgeschichte)? Answers to these questions can be found in discussing the Christian view for history. In dealing with these questions, the article studies the Christian view for history and focuses on the structure of the Christian world view. It begins with a general definition of 'history', discusses the subject of history and examines various types of history. Views for history of so-called classical'circularity 'Judeo · Christian thought, Progressivism, Historicism and Marxism will be compared and discussed to illuminate the understanding of immanent principle if history of each view. The article draws its conclusion through the discussion of the relation of general secular history and salvation history, in particular by-critically analyzing and evaluating the thought of Pannenberg. The discussion on the Christian world view begins with the examination of hylozoism of Ancient society and covers the people's experience of 'universal concept' in the Middle Ages, the pattern of Modern thinking in the world of autonomous reason, Kierkegaard's 'leap' and modern theology, contemporary theology of Rudolf Bultmann and Paul Tillich. with the historical examination of biblical and Christian world view, the life of Christians who had actually lift·ed with such world view is dealt with from the perspective of historical theology (THE Academy of Korea Studies)

혼합형 자가면역성 용혈성 빈혈을 동반한 전신성 홍반성 루푸스 1예

A 17-year-women developed mixed warm and cold antibody type autoimmune hemolytic anemia associated with systemic lupus erythematosus. The patients was admitted to our hospital for syncope. Jaundice was observed. Urinalysis revealed protein and hemoglobin. Her hemoglobin was 4.6g/dl and reticulocytes were 10%. Total bilirubin was elevated, while haptoglobin and complement were abnormally reduced. ANA and mitochondrial Ab were detected. The direct and indirect Coombs test were positive. The direct antiglobulin test was positive ; IgG and C3d were detected on the red cell surface. The cold agglutinin(CA) titer was 128. The patients was initially treated with high dose steroid therapy. However the patients did not responded to high dose steroid therapy. We treated the patients with plasmapheresis and synchronized cyclophosphamide therapy. Clinical remission of hematologic complications was achieved in this patients. We report a case of mixed type autoimmune hemolytic anemia with SLE that responded plasma pheresis and synchronized cyclophosphamide therapy.

A Study on Fire Spread between Office Room and Atrium in the Atrium Building

We could analyse the fire behavior using the developed software for fire safety assessment in a large space such as atrium. But Korean building law hasn't admitted the result of fire risk assessment in atrium. In the legislation fire resistant wall or shutter must be required between atrium and office rooms, That has obstructed development of building design and fire protection technique in Korea. From this point of view, we made scenarios of fire spread between atrium and office rooms, and then computed fire spread and fire phenomena using FASTLite and Breakl. In this study, we can decide that fire compartmentalization between atrium and office rooms doesn't require in Atrium building if the material and fire protection system were reliable. Consequently, Korean Fire Protection Regulations have to consider in direction of increasing freedom of building.

2자유도 PI 제어기를 이용한 BLDC 전동기의 벡터제어에 관한 연구

This paper describes the speed control method of BLDC Motor using TDOF PI ( Tow-degree of freedom PI ). PI control method generally used has difficulty in efficient speed control because speed response and load torque response interfere each other. It can't decrease the overshoot of motor speed w rm, and shorten the response time of load torque TL, at the same time according to the step alternation of speed reference w rm. Therefore TDOF PI is applied to BLDC Motor in order to supply these weak points of PI control method in this paper. TDOF PI can get the torque characteristic of short response time as well as stable and prompt speed adjustment by separate control for speed response and load torque response. The results from the tests of C program simulation and system construction show that TDOF PI is superior to PI control system in speed adjustment and load torque response.
