본 논문에서는 필기체 숫자인식의 최적 신경망 구조 설계를 위하여 유전자 알고리즘과 역전파 알고리즘을 병합하는 방법을 이용하였으며, 유전자 알고리즘은 유전인자의 역할에 따라 독립적으로 적응하는 개선된 선택, 교배, 돌연변이 연산자를 제안하였다. 실험결과는 유전인자의 역할에 적응하는 개선된 연산자들의 실행으로 최적의 신경망 구조를 설계하였고, 설계된 신경망 구조에서의 학습이 가장 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. In this study, the method of using both genetic algorithm and back propagation is proposed to design the structure of optimal neural network recognizing handwritten digits. Improved selection, crossover and mutation operator which can control the genetic algorithm independently according to the role of gene are used in the proposed method. Simulation result shows that the neural network of this method can search effectively the optimal hidden node numbers, connection weight, learning rate and the momentum because of above proposed operators.
인산 칼슘을 사용한 수산화아파타이트 시멘트의 응결·경화 특성에 관한 연구

습식법이나 수열법으로 합성한 hydroxyapatite(HAp)의 분말을 성형, 열처리한 소결체는 지금까지 알려진 바이오 세라믹스 중 생체친화성이 가장 우수한 것으로 입증되고 있으나 소결에 따르는 제조상의 몇가지 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소결에 의하지 않고 tetracalcium phosphate(TTCP)분말과 dicalcium phosphate dihydrate(DCPD) 분말의 혼합물로 만든 paste를 용해·침전반응으로 응결·경화시켜 직접 HAp 경화체를 얻고, 이때 몇가지 변수가 HAp의 생성과 응결 및 경화특성에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. TTCP와 DCPD로 조합한 시멘트의 수화반응생성물은 HAp 경화체였으며 이의 미소결정의 interlocking에 의해 응결·경화 하였다. 반응온도 및 HAp 종자의 첨가는 주로 초기단계의 반응속도에 영향을 주었다. 50℃에서의 HAp 생성 반응은 24시간 이내에 거의 완료되었다. Hydroxyapatite ceramics, one of the excellent biocompatible materials, are usually prepared by sintering of hydroxyapatite powders from wet chemical methods. But some problems caused by sintering process are still remained. In this study, instead of powder sintering methods. hardened bodies of hydroxyapatite were prepared by self-hardening reaction of cement paste composed of powdered tetracalcium phosphate(TTCP) and dicalcium phosphate dihydrate(DCPD). Some effects of seeding, reaction temperature on setting and hardening properties were investigated . The hydration products of the hardened paste were composed of finely-crystallized hydroxyapatite which causes setting and hardening by interlocking themselves. Self setting and hardening reaction are accelerated by elevating reaction temperature and addition of hydroxyapatite powders as a seeding materials. The hydration reaction of the paste. at 50C. was nearly finished within 24 hours after mixing with water.

A Process Scheduler is designed for load balancing under normal state and for load redistribution under failure in a fail-soft distributed system. The proposed load redistribution algorithm is that if any soft-fault occurs in the local nodes, all the processes in the queue of the failed processor and all incoming processes the failed processor are automatically rescheduled by a certain policy in which we determine to buffer them in the current node or to transfer them to another underloaded node considering criticality and service time of the fault. The proposed load balancing algorthm enhances Soh's model(ESM). Our algorithm eliminates the problems of conventional algorithm which has load tables in each processor. This model provided us with several advantages such as reliability, availability and fault-tolerance.

We had found Gollin, a compound of aconite and sulfur, was quite effective in controlling hangover syndrome in the previous clinical study. In this study, we have tried to explain the possible biological mechanism of its effectiveness, at least in part, by way of analyzing blood alcohol clearence rate. Nature rabbits of both sexes, weighing between 2.0 kg and 3.0 kg were used. Experimental group was given five capsules of Gollin in liquid form 20 minutes prior to L V. injection of 50 Vol. % of ethanol in a dose of 5.0 ml/kg of body weight. All of the specimens. were obtained by cardiac pucture at 10 and 30 min. respectively after alcohol edmini?stration. The result showed blood alcohol clearence was much enhanced in the experimental group and it was more so at 10 min. than 30. A possible mechani?sm for this finding. was discussed and this result was also related to the clinical effectiveness of Gollin in controlling hangover syndrome.
