A Study on Improvement and Degradation of Si/SiO2 Interface Property for Gate Oxide with TiN Metal Gate

        이병현,Yong-Il Kim,Bong-Soo Kim,Dong-Soo Woo,Yong-Jik Park,Dong-Gun Park,Si-Hyung Lee,Yonghan Rho 한국전기전자재료학회 2008 Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Material Vol.9 No.1

In this study, we investigated effects of hydrogen annealing (HA) and plasma nitridation (PN) applied in order to improve Si/SiO₂ interface characteristics of TiN metal gate. In result, HA and PN showed a positive effect decreasing number of interface state (Nit) respectively. After FN stress for verifying reliability, however, we identified rapid increase of Nit for TiN gate with HA, which is attributed to hydrogen related to a change of Si/SiO₂ interface characteristic. In contrast to HA, PN showed an improved Nit and gate oxide leakage characteristic due to several possible effects, such as blocking of Chlorine (Cl) diffusion and prevention of thermal reaction between TiN and SiO₂.

A Study on Improvement and Degradation of Si/SiO2 Interface Property for Gate Oxide with TiN Metal Gate

        Lee, Byung-Hyun,Kim, Yong-Il,Kim, Bong-Soo,Woo, Dong-Soo,Park, Yong-Jik,Park, Dong-Gun,Lee, Si-Hyung,Rho, Yong-Han The Korean Institute of Electrical and Electronic 2008 Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Material Vol.9 No.1

In this study, we investigated effects of hydrogen annealing (HA) and plasma nitridation (PN) applied in order to improve $Si/SiO_2$ interface characteristics of TiN metal gate. In result, HA and PN showed a positive effect decreasing number of interface state $(N_{it})$ respectively. After FN stress for verifying reliability, however, we identified rapid increase of $N_{it}$ for TiN gate with HA, which is attributed to hydrogen related to a change of $Si/SiO_2$ interface characteristic. In contrast to HA, PN showed an improved Nit and gate oxide leakage characteristic due to several possible effects, such as blocking of Chlorine (Cl) diffusion and prevention of thermal reaction between TiN and $SiO_2$.

Various medicinal fungi have been traditionally used in many countries for health maintenance, as well as for the prevention and treatment of various diseases. Dong-Chong-Xia-Cha in Chinese, which translates as “winter worm and summer grass”, is an entomogenous fungus that colonized the larvae or pupae of insect. Although various biological activities of crude extracts have been reported, the precise active compounds responsible for the anticancer activities of cultured Cordyceps are not well defined. Therefore, as part of our study program to identify potential anticancer agents from traditional medicines, we used cordycepin isolated from Cordyceps militaris obtained by submerged cultivation. The aim was to isolate the pure cordycepin from the extracts of Cordyceps militaris and evaluate its anticancer properties. Silica gel column chromatographic purification of Cordyceps militaris extracts resulted in the isolation of cordycepin. The isolated cordycepin and crude cordyceps were examined for their anti-proliferative effects on human cancer cell lines, HCT, MC5-7, U-87MG, AGS, A549, and MCF-7 cells were analyzed. The isolated cordycepin displayed potent growth inhibition on HCT, MC5-7, U-87MG, AGS, A549, and MCF-7 cells with IC50 values of 86.16, 28.13, 282.40, 78.41, 137.40, and 216.40 μg/ml, respectively. A similar inhibitory trend in these cancer cells was observed for crude cordyceps, with IC50 values ranging from 60.8 317.2. The present study provides scientific supporting information for the ethnopharmacological use of Cordyceps militaris as an anticancer agent.

Evaluation of the Efficacy and Safety of DA-9601 versus Its New Formulation, DA-5204, in Patients with Gastritis: Phase III, Randomized, Double-Blind, Non-Inferiority Study

        Choi, Yoon Jin,Lee, Dong Ho,Choi, Myung-Gyu,Lee, Sung Joon,Kim, Sung Kook,Song, Geun Am,Rhee, Poong-Lyul,Jung, Hwoon-Yong,Kang, Dae-Hwan,Lee, Yong Chan,Lee, Si Hyung,Choi, Suck Chei,Shim, Ki-Nam,Seol, KOREAN ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE 2017 JOURNAL OF KOREAN MEDICAL SCIENCE Vol.32 No.11

<P>This study compared the efficacy of DA-9601 (Dong-A ST Co., Seoul, Korea) and its new formulation, DA-5204 (Dong-A ST Co.), for treating erosive gastritis. This phase III, randomized, multicenter, double-blind, non-inferiority trial randomly assigned 434 patients with endoscopically proven gastric mucosal erosions into two groups: DA-9601 3 times daily or DA-5,204 twice daily for 2 weeks. The final analysis included 421 patients (DA-5204, 209; DA-9601, 212). The primary endpoint (rate of effective gastric erosion healing) and secondary endpoints (cure rate of endoscopic erosion and gastrointestinal [GI] symptom relief) were assessed using endoscopy after the treatment. Drug-related adverse events (AEs), including GI symptoms, were also compared. At week 2, gastric healing rates with DA-5204 and DA-9601 were 42.1% (88/209) and 42.5% (90/212), respectively. The difference between the groups was −0.4% (95% confidence interval, −9.8% to 9.1%), which was above the non-inferiority margin of −14%. The cure rate of gastric erosion in both groups was 37.3%. The improvement rates of GI symptoms with DA-5204 and DA-9601 were 40.4% and 40.8%, respectively. There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in both secondary endpoints. AEs were reported in 18 (8.4%) patients in the DA-5204 group and 19 (8.8%) in the DA-9601 group. Rates of AE were not different between the two groups. No serious AE or adverse drug reaction (ADR) occurred. These results demonstrate the non-inferiority of DA-5204 compared to DA-9601. DA-5204 is as effective as DA-9601 in the treatment of erosive gastritis. Registered randomized clinical trial at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT02282670)</P>

The British society was relieved from corruption and fluctuation after the Industrial Revolution by Wesley's Christian Belief Rehabilitation Movement and it was diffused all over the world. But the organized christian education greatly contributed to this success of Christian Belief Rehabilitation Movement. In this article, the basis for present education in Methodist Church schools will be made by the investigation of his Christian education welcoming the 250th anniversary of Wesley's Regeneration. The results of the investigation of Wesley's Christian education are as follows : First, they were trained and educated to accomplish the integrity of Christians through the process of sanctification and recognition of morality. It was achieved by holding the class meeting at least once a week and they could obtain the relief by examination, consolation and counselling of other's souls and absolution of the sin. Second, the doctrine to educate the devotees was decided in the annual conference. The preachers were educated to direct the devotees according to this "standard of doctrine". Third, the king's Wood School might be a model of Christian education. Its purport of foundation was to educate students, in order to escape from the evils and stand in awe of the God. The aspects of divine spirits of teachers and students were emphasized. According to these studies, the modern education of the Methodist Church will have to concentrate of the following three points, succeeding to the Christianity education of Wesley at those days. First, the class meeting must become the important place of education, in which the Christians's doctrine of wholeness is supported by confirming the Christian relief and concretely expressed by the experiences of the Christian belierf through education. Second, as Wesley wanted strongly, annual conference must be and educational place, in which the standard of doctrine is reconfirmed, in order to continue the Methodist movement under concrete doctrine. Third, in the schools of the methodist Church, the education for one's whole personality, which was also the objectives of the King's Wood School of Wesley, must be carried into effect. Since mission schools are not owned by individuals, but belonging to jesus Christ, their education must be coincident with the objectives of mission schools. Therefore, all the education of Methodist Church, including the schools related to the Methodist Chruch, has to come back to the original spirits of education of Wesley, which are the characteristics and prides of the methodist. And then, the education will make them to reach "Christion Perfection".

廉蒔東 배화여자대학 1995 培花論叢 Vol.14 No.-

When John Wesley was appointed as a fellow at Lincoln College in November 1729, he began a meetting for trying to lead a pious life in Oxford campus with Charles, his younger brother, Morgan and Kirkhan. They used to get together three or four times a week in the evening and have a good time in reading the Holy Bible in Hellenic and Latin language. On Sunday evenings they read the books on theology, and on the other days They read the classics in Hellenic and Latin language. They were 'the Biblelovers" who read the Bible very hard. That is to say, they were people of only one book-the Holy Bible. They became the Bible Christians who were comfortable to the interpretation of the first church about all living principles. Because of their this lives the Oxford students gave the members of the Holy club three mocking nicknames. The first nickname is 'Methodist". It was given by Wesley's practical life of the thought that their discipline and pursuit for holiness and purity can be obtained only through obedience and training, and regular life. And later Wesley adopted the nickname as the name of the group. The second nickname is 'enthusiast", which came our of the fact that their religious and social activities were very enthusiastic. The third nickname is 'ceremononialist", which was given because of their active participation in the Communication service. On the other hand, the activities of the Holy club movement are as follows : the first is the study of the Sunday records for the purpose of theological understanding and insight by studying the Bible and classical spiritual books. The second is the pious life which can incorporate salvation and holy life, which depend on sincerity and good conduct in daily life. The third missionary work which practices the faith through love in social life. I think when the followings are strengthened an the basis of Holy club movement the right religious movement in Korean Christain church and college can be made. First, we have to try to find out the very core and message of the eternal gospel besides studying the Bible and praticing the spiritual discipline. which Wesley tried to learn from the tradition of the Firch church. Second, We must try to lead our daily lives for the glory of the Lord by having right interest in pious life and by trying to reach the wholeness of Christian-Wesley's main doctrine. Third, we should try to serve truly as workes of the Lord through the religious life not only for us also for our neighbors the human relationship in which we can share love with them. On the Occasion of the 270th anniversary of the Oxford conversion, We will have to try to lead the Korean Methodist church and college to embody the basic idelogies and practial activites of Holy Club movement, and moreover we will have to provide a momenthum for making today's corrupt society be born again.
