Inverse Optimal Adaptive Stochastic Gain Assignment for a Class of Nonlinear Systems with Markovian Jump

        Chuan-Rui Wang,Xing-Hu Wang,Hai-Bo Ji 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2013 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.11 No.4

This paper deals with the inverse optimal adaptive stochastic gain assignment problem for a class of Markovian jump nonlinear systems with constant unknown parameters. The Wiener noises have bounded but unknown covariance. It is shown that a sufficient condition to solve this problem is the existence of a Lyapunov function for a corresponding auxiliary system. By employing backstepping technique and common Lyapunov function method, an adaptive control law is designed, which solves this problem for a class of Markovian jump nonlinear systems in strict-feedback form. A numerical example is given to illustrate the theoretical analysis result.

Research on a Multi-level Space Vector Modulation Strategy in Non-orthogonal Three-dimensional Coordinate Systems

        Chuan-Jin Zhang,Rui-Peng Wei,Yi Tang,Ke Wang 전력전자학회 2017 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.17 No.5

A novel space vector modulation strategy in the non-orthogonal three-dimensional coordinate system for multi-level three-phase four-wire inverters is proposed in this paper. This new non-orthogonal three-dimensional space vector modulation converts original trigonometric functions in the orthogonal three-dimensional space coordinate into simple algebraic operations, which greatly reduces the algorithm complexity of three-dimensional space vector modulation and preserves the independent control of the zero-sequence component. Experimental results have verified the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed three-dimensional space vector modulation in the new non-orthogonal three-dimensional coordinate system.

Complete mitochondrial genome of a kind of snakehead fish Channa siamensis and its phylogenetic consideration

        Rui Li,Gang Wang,Zheng‑Yong Wen,Yuan‑Chao Zou,Chuan‑Jie Qin,Yu Luo,Jun Wang,Gui‑Hong Chen 한국유전학회 2019 Genes & Genomics Vol.41 No.2

The snakehead fish, Channa siamensis, belongs to the genus of Channa (perciformes: Channidae) and was first reported by Günther in 1861. Despite it has been described approximately for 15 decades, the genetic information is limited and the taxon status of this kind of fish is still unclear. The primary objective of this study is to get more genomic data and calculate the taxon location of this kind of fish. The next generation sequencing method was used to obtain the whole mitochondrial DNA information, and bioinformatic analysis was performed to investigate the evolutionary status and taxon location of C. siamensis. The circular mitochondrial DNA was 16,570 bp in length, and which showed typical piscine structure and arrangement. The overall nucleotide composition was 29.28% A, 24.72% T, 30.71% C, 15.29% G, with 54.1% AT, respectively. Phylogenetic analyses using concatenated amino acid and nucleotide sequences of the 13 protein-coding genes with two different methods (Maximum likelihood and Bayesian analysis) both highly supported C. siamensis belongs to the genus Channa and shows a close relationship with C. micropeltes. These data will provide more useful information for a better understanding of the mitochondrial genomic diversities and evolution in fish as well as novel genetic markers for studying population genetics and species identification.

      • Complex Vector Analysis and Suppression of Parallel Vibration of Distributed Power Grid Connected Converter

        Rui Guo,Cunxu Wang,Shu Liu,Xin Guan,Wei Gao,Shuaijie Wang,Chuan Chen 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.10

With the continuous expansion of the scale of distributed power generation, multi grid connected converters often prone to oscillation problems when parallel operation. In this paper,we study the equivalent circuit of parallel connection of multi grid connected converters , system response characteristics of voltage source and in-depth analysis of the causes of the parallel oscillation of the converters. This paper analyzes converter’s parallel complex vector model by complex vector and comes to a conclusion that power grid voltage feed-forward will produce strong coupling between converter so that cause oscillation parallel converters. In view of the above problems and the flow of the converter starting or the voltage fluctuation of the grid, we design a low feed forward method, that is to make the fundamental and the main sub components of the grid voltage forward without delay and for the relative high frequency components, the filter technology is used to attenuate, so as to achieve the maximum elimination of the feed-forward coupling between the converter, to prevent the occurrence of system oscillation. In order to verify the use of this paper, the theory of the parallel converter is applied in the field of MW level wind field. The experimental results prove the correctness of the theory.

Effectiveness and safety of acupuncture for angina pectoris: An overview of systematic reviews

        Qi Wen-Chuan,Fu Hong-Juan,Sun Rui-Rui,Li Xiang,Cai Ding-Jun,Wang Chao,Liang Fan-Rong 한국한의학연구원 2022 Integrative Medicine Research Vol.11 No.3

Background: The number of systematic reviews or meta-analyses (SRs/MAs) on the effectiveness of acupuncture for angina pectoris (AP) is increasing. Due to the inconsistent conclusions and unknown quality of these SRs/MAs, this overview aimed to systematically evaluate and synthesize the existing SRs/MAs, attempting to provide more reliable evidence for the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture in the treatment of AP. Methods: SRs/MAs were searched via eight databases from inception to March 14, 2022. The risk of bias was evaluated using the Risk of Bias in Systematic reviews (ROBIS) tool. The quality of the methodology, reporting, and evidence were assessed by the Assess Systematic Reviews 2 (AMSTAR-2), the Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis for Acupuncture (PRISMA-A), and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) system, respectively. Results: Sixteen SRs/MAs were included and fifteen SRs/MAs were considered being of critically low quality according to AMSTAR-2. Only three SRs/MAs were rated at low risk of bias. No study reported all the items listed in the PRISMA-A checklist. No high-quality evidence with GRADE assessment was found. With the low-quality evidence, acupuncture combined with other interventions was superior to monotherapy (medications or Chinese medicine) in the angina symptom and electrocardiogram recovery. No adverse effects owing to acupuncture were reported. Conclusions: Owing to the lack of high-quality evidence provided by the current SRs/MAs, the effective-ness of acupuncture for AP still warrants further proof. Further researches with more critical design and methodology are needed for providing more convincing evidence. A native Trichoderma harzianum strain Th62 displays antagonistic activities against phytopathogenic fungi and promotes the growth of Celosia cristata

        Yue-Feng Wang,Xue-Yue Hou,Chuan-Ying Jiang,Tong-Tong Zhai,Rui Miao,Jun-Jie Deng,Zhi-Hong Yao,Rongshu Zhang 한국원예학회 2021 Horticulture, Environment, and Biotechnology Vol.62 No.2

Trichoderma spp. are widely applied, eco-friendly mycofungicides and plant growth promoters. Native Trichoderma strainsare likely to have more productive, stable biocontrol and biofertilizer activities since they are well adapted to the local environment. In this study, we isolated a native Trichoderma strain ‘Th62’ from the rhizosphere soil of wild Chelidonium majusplants in Harbin, China (126.6341°E, 45.7242°N). The isolated Trichoderma strain was identifi ed as a T. harzianum strainvia morphological observation and molecular methods based on the rDNA internal transcribed spacer region and elongationfactor-1α gene sequences. Signifi cant antagonistic activities of Th62 against fi ve soil-borne fungal phytopathogens,Fusarium oxysporum , Sclerotinia sclerotiorum , Alternaria alternata , Cytospora chrysosperma, and Rhizoctonia solani ,were confi rmed by dual-culture assays. Furthermore, the crude fermentation products of Th62 also displayed antifungalactivities against these fi ve pathogens. To evaluate the function of Th62 as a biofertilizer, we subsequently applied Th62on cockscomb ( Celosia cristata L), a plant species with both ornamental and medicinal values, by inoculation with Th62conidia at diff erent concentrations, 1 × 10 10 cfu mL −1 , 1 × 10 11 cfu mL −1 , and 1 × 10 12 cfu mL −1 . The benefi cial eff ects ofTh62 were evaluated by measuring the growth and photosynthetic traits of the inoculated cockscomb plants, and the resultsdemonstrated that Th62 signifi cantly improved the photosynthetic effi ciency, photosynthetic capacity, and the adaptabilityto intense light of the inoculated cockscomb plants compared to the controls. Consistently, Th62 inoculation signifi cantlyimproved the growth and fl ower yield of cockscomb. We presented a positive case of isolating and applying native microbialresources on local plantation practices.

Experimental Investigation Regarding Rack Pressure Resistance on Cooling Performance of a Container Data Center

        Wen-Xiao Chu,Rui Wang,CHI-CHUAN WANG 대한설비공학회 2019 International Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refr Vol.27 No.4

This paper experimentally investigates the effect of pressure resistance distribution by using perforated grilles with different porosities (F=100%, 58% and 35.4%) in a container data center. The inlet and outlet temperature distribution, rack cooling index (RCI) and supply heat index (SHI) are used to evaluate the cooling performance under semi-contained and fully contained configurations. As a result, the airflow reversal phenomenon at the top cabinets is found, which is especially conspicuous for the case without perforated grilles due to the extremely low pressure resistance in the cabinet. By implementing perforated grilles at lower three cabinets, the airflow reversal can be eliminated, however, it cannot be completely removed. By applying perforated grilles with F=35.4% at the top three cabinets can increase the pressure resistance at the cabinets S1 where the airflow reversal is eliminated thoroughly. Yet, the performance of cabinets at rack A1 may degrade rapidly due to much stronger hot-exhaust recirculation. Hence, the fully contained configuration is applied. Note that the airflow reversal is more severe for the case without perforated grilles. By arranging the perforated grilles with F = 35.4%, the corresponding RCI and SHI may reach the ideal values of 100% and zero, respectively. Therefore, the perforated grilles with F= 35.4% are more reasonable for simulated racks under semi-contained and fully contained configurations when airflow reversal occurs.

The complete mitochondrial genome of a threatened loach (Sinibotia reevesae) and its phylogeny

        Yuan‑Chao Zou,Bi‑Wen Xie,Chuan‑Jie Qin,Yong‑Ming Wang,Deng‑Yue Yuan,Rui Li,Zheng‑Yong Wen 한국유전학회 2017 Genes & Genomics Vol.39 No.7

In present study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Sinibotia reevesae was first sequenced using the next-generation sequencing technology and annotated using bioinformatic tools. The circular mitochondrial genome was 16,572 bp in length, and contained 13 proteincoding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, and 1 displacement loop locus. It presents a typical gene organization and order for completely sequenced cypriniformes mitogenomes. The control region could be divided into three parts included the extended termination associated sequence domain, the central conserved domain and the conserved sequence block. Interestingly, two stemloop domains were found in control region and OL region, respectively. Furthermore, phylogenetic analyses using concatenated amino acid and nucleotide sequences of the 13 protein-coding genes with two different methods (Maximum likelihood and Bayesian analysis) both highly supported the close relationship of S. reevesae and Sinibotia superciliaris, which was in line with the previous classifications based on morphological and molecular studies. These data provide useful information for a better understanding of the mitogenomic diversities and evolution in fish as well as novel genetic markers for studying population genetics and species identification.

Secondary Metabolites with Anti-complementary Activity from the Stem Barks of Juglans mandshurica Maxim

        ( Zi-jiang Li ),( Shilin Chen ),( Xiang-hao Yang ),( Rui Wang ),( Hee-jeong Min ),( Lei Wu ),( Chuan-ling Si ),( Young-soo Bae ) 한국목재공학회 2018 목재공학 Vol.46 No.2

Juglans mandshurica is a fast growing hard species, which is a tree in family of Juglandaceae and has a wide distribution in China, Korea and eastern Russia. Plant materials from J. mandshurica have extensively been used in folk medicines to prevent or cure gastric, esophageal, lung and cardiac cancer. As one chain of our searching for anticomplementary agents from natural sources, two epimeric ellagitannins, [2,3-O-4,4′,5,5′,6,6′,-hexahydroxydiphenoyl (HHDP))-(α,β)-D-glucose] (I) and pedunculagin (II) were purified from 70% acetone extracts of the stem barks of J. mandshurica by Thin Layer Chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography approaches. The chemical structures of the isolated compounds were characterized by MS, NMR, and a careful comparation with published literatures. The epimeric ellagitannins I and II exhibited inhibitory properties against a classical pathway of complementary system with 50 % inhibitory concentrations (IC50) values of 65.3 and 47.7 μM, respectively, comparing with riliroside (IC50=104 μM) and rosmarinic acid (IC50=182 μM), which were used as positive controls. Thus, the work indicated both the two secondary metabolites possess excellent inhibitory activity and might be developed as potential anticomplementary chemicals.
