Bond Distortion and Electron States in Charged $C_{60}{^2-}$

        Fu, Rong-Tang,Fu, Rou-Li,Lee, Kee-Hag,Sun, Xin,Ye, Hong-Juan Korean Chemical Society 1993 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.14 No.6

By considering both electron-electron and electron-lattice interactions, the effect of charge transfer on the bond structure and electronic states of $C_{60}$ is studied without configuration limitation. The results show that the electron-electron interaction does not eliminate the layer structure of the bond distortion and the self-trapping of transferred electrons. For charged ${C_{60}}^{2-}$, there exist two localized electronic states, which possess laminar wave functions, and four nonequivalent groups of carbon atoms, which induce a fine-structure in the NMR spectrum line.

A high-efficiency simulation method of wind field and its application on transmission line

        Xing Fu,Xing-Heng Zhang,Hong-Nan Li,Gang Li,Hui-Juan Liu 한국풍공학회 2021 Wind and Structures, An International Journal (WAS Vol.33 No.4

Generally, the fluctuating wind is simplified as several independent one-dimensional multivariate stationary Gaussian processes in simulating a natural wind field. The correlation in the lateral, longitudinal and vertical directions should all be considered in the simulation of longitudinal wind field for the large-span spatial structures. In fact, this type of structure has lots of simulation points. The calculation amount of wind field simulation by the harmonic superposition method depends on the scale of cross-spectral density matrix, which is directly related to the number of simulated points, leading to a low efficiency when generating the time-varying wind speed. This paper innovatively proposes a high-efficiency simulation method for the longitudinal wind field based on Taylor’s hypothesis. Subsequently, the effectiveness of the proposed wind field method was verified by the numerical simulation. Finally, the dynamic responses of a transmission tower-line system under the wind loadings generated with the new method and traditional method are calculated and compared. The percentages difference of the mean and maximum axial force at the main tower members are less than 0.02% and 1%, respectively, indicating the effectiveness of the proposed time delay method. The results also show that the proposed simulation method of wind field can not only ensure the simulation accuracy, but also significantly improve the efficiency of wind speed generation, which is suitable for the wind load simulation of large-span spatial structures.

Effectiveness and safety of acupuncture for angina pectoris: An overview of systematic reviews

        Qi Wen-Chuan,Fu Hong-Juan,Sun Rui-Rui,Li Xiang,Cai Ding-Jun,Wang Chao,Liang Fan-Rong 한국한의학연구원 2022 Integrative Medicine Research Vol.11 No.3

Background: The number of systematic reviews or meta-analyses (SRs/MAs) on the effectiveness of acupuncture for angina pectoris (AP) is increasing. Due to the inconsistent conclusions and unknown quality of these SRs/MAs, this overview aimed to systematically evaluate and synthesize the existing SRs/MAs, attempting to provide more reliable evidence for the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture in the treatment of AP. Methods: SRs/MAs were searched via eight databases from inception to March 14, 2022. The risk of bias was evaluated using the Risk of Bias in Systematic reviews (ROBIS) tool. The quality of the methodology, reporting, and evidence were assessed by the Assess Systematic Reviews 2 (AMSTAR-2), the Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis for Acupuncture (PRISMA-A), and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) system, respectively. Results: Sixteen SRs/MAs were included and fifteen SRs/MAs were considered being of critically low quality according to AMSTAR-2. Only three SRs/MAs were rated at low risk of bias. No study reported all the items listed in the PRISMA-A checklist. No high-quality evidence with GRADE assessment was found. With the low-quality evidence, acupuncture combined with other interventions was superior to monotherapy (medications or Chinese medicine) in the angina symptom and electrocardiogram recovery. No adverse effects owing to acupuncture were reported. Conclusions: Owing to the lack of high-quality evidence provided by the current SRs/MAs, the effective-ness of acupuncture for AP still warrants further proof. Further researches with more critical design and methodology are needed for providing more convincing evidence. • A new compound operation method of the numerical solutions And analytic solution of partial differential equation

        Yu-Jie Ren,Yan-Juan Li,Fu-Gui Song,Hong-Qing Zhang 한국멀티미디어학회 2006 한국멀티미디어학회 국제학술대회 Vol.2006 No.-

In the paper, a new compound operation method of the numerical solutions and analytic solution (if exist) is proposed to constructing explicit solutions for nonlinear partial differential equations based on computation system MATLAB. The validity and reliability of the method is tested by its application to the Toda-Lattice equations in (2+1) dimensions. More new explicit solutions are found. The compound operation method can be also applied to other nonlinear partial differential equations.

      • A mechanization method on the mixed operation of the numerical solutions, analytic solution, and showing their figures simultaneously for differential equation

        Yu-Jie Ren,Fu-Gui Song,Yan-Juan Li,Hong-Qing Zhang 한국멀티미디어학회 2006 한국멀티미디어학회 국제학술대회 Vol.2006 No.-

In the paper, a new mechanization method on the mixed operation of the numerical solutions, analytic solution (if exist), and showing their figures simultaneously for differential equation and their MATLAB programs are presented. With the aid of computer software MATLAB, Euler's method is chosen to illustrate the validity and advantages of the method. As a result, we can not only see the analytic solution, numerical solutions, and their errors but also observe how step size affects the error of the numerical solutions by a figure. The mechanization method can be also applied to other numerical method.

Altered mRNA Levels of MOV10, A3G, and IFN-α in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B

        Zhi-Wei Song,Yan-Xiu Ma,Li-Juan Fu,Bao-qing Fu,Xu Teng,Si-Jia Chen,Wei-Zhen Xu,Hong-Xi Gu 한국미생물학회 2014 The journal of microbiology Vol.52 No.6

To explore the relationship of the MOV10, A3G, and IFN-αmRNA levels with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection,Blood samples from 96 patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB) and 21 healthy individuals as control were collected. HBV DNA load and aminotransferase in the serum weretested using real time PCR and velocity methods, respectively. The MOV10, A3G, and IFN-α mRNA levels in theperipheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were examinedthrough qRT-PCR. The MOV10, A3G, and IFN-α mRNAlevels in CHB group was significantly lower than those inthe control group (P<0.01, P<0.05, P<0.01, respectively). TheA3G mRNA level in the high-HBV DNA load group waslower than that in the low-HBV DNA load group (P<0.05). However, no statistical difference was found in the MOV10and IFN-α mRNA levels between the two HBV DNA loadgroups. Furthermore, the MOV10 mRNA level showed positivecorrelation with IFN-α in the control group. These resultsindicated that the expression of the innate immune factorsMOV10, A3G, and IFN-α is affected by chronic HBV infection.

Growth of Amorphous InGaN Films on Si for Potential Photovoltaic Application

        Wang Ting,Mo Guankong,Zhao Hongli,Yao Juan,Zou Zhuoliang,Fu Yuechun,Shen Xiaoming,He Huan 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.2

Amorphous InGaN fi lms were deposited on p-Si(100) substrates using a self-refi ted pulsed laser deposition system with double laser light paths and two-component target. The eff ects of laser energy on the microstructure, electrical and photovoltaic performances of InGaN fi lms as well as n-InGaN/p-Si heterojunction solar cells were investigated. The results show that all the fi lms are rich in Ga and poor in In, and the (In + Ga)/N atomic ratios are greater than 1. As the laser energy increases, In composition increases gradually and reaches to a maximum of 4.6 at.%. The PL spectra indicates that the band gap of the fi lms decrease with the increase of laser energy. Meanwhile, the resistivity of InGaN fi lm is decreased in two orders of magnitude due to the increasing of carrier concentration. Under the illumination of AM 1.5G solar simulator, the maximum power conversion effi ciency of amorphous n-InGaN/p-Si heterojunction solar cells is 0.73% with an open circuit voltage of 2.41 V and short current density of 0.69 mA/cm 2 at the laser energy of 175 mJ/pulse

      • Genomic Screening for Targets Regulated by Berberine in Breast Cancer Cells

        Wen, Chun-Jie,Wu, Lan-Xiang,Fu, Li-Juan,Yu, Jing,Zhang, Yi-Wen,Zhang, Xue,Zhou, Hong-Hao Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2013 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.14 No.10

Berberine, a common isoquinoline alkaloid, has been shown to possess anti-cancer activities. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms are still not completely understood. In the current study, we investigated the effects of berberine on cell growth, colony formation, cell cycle distribution, and whether it improved the anticancer efficiency of cisplatin and doxorubicin in human breast cancer estrogen receptor positive (ER+) MCF-7 cells and estrogen receptor negative (ER-) MDA-MB-231 cells. Notably, berberine treatment significantly inhibited cell growth and colony formation in the two cell lines, berberine in combination with cisplatin exerting synergistic growth inhibitory effects. Accompanied by decreased growth, berberine induced G1 phase arrest in MCF-7 but not MDA-MB-231 cells. To provide a more detailed understanding of the mechanisms of action of berberine, we performed genome-wide expression profiling of berberine-treated cells using cDNA microarrays. This revealed that there were 3,397 and 2,706 genes regulated by berberine in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells, respectively. Fene oncology (GO) analysis identified that many of the target genes were involved in regulation of the cell cycle, cell migration, apoptosis, and drug responses. To confirm the microarray data, qPCR analysis was conducted for 10 selected genes based on previously reported associations with breast cancer and GO analysis. In conclusion, berberine exhibits inhibitory effects on breast cancer cells proliferation, which is likely mediated by alteration of gene expression profiles.
